The dentists are so friendly here! I’ve met one of their orthodontists and 3 of their dentists so far and they’ve all been so gentle and nice and reassuring and I really liked that they took their time with me but even better I like that you can contact them over what’s app because I generally try to avoid phone calls, so this was good. The place itself is calm and clean and has a minimalistic design- the first time I went there I actually couldn’t spot the door to the surgery because it was blended so well- I’ll attach a picture so it’s obvious what I’m taking about

I'm a US citizen teaching in London for the semester who suffered a minor dental emergency: my crown unexpectedly came off in the middle of my stay, I found Maida Smiles in my neighborhood and walked in to ask for help. They very graciously found a way to squeeze me in that same afternoon to assess the damage. When I returned for the appointment, the dentist very efficiently took stock of my situation, x-rayed my tooth to make sure all was well under the crown, cleaned the old cement from the crown, and skillfully re-cemented it. I was in and out of the chair in about 20 minutes. What impressed me even more was the very high level of service: even knowing that he would probably never see me again, he treated me as if I were one of his most highly prized clients. Consummate skill and exceptional service. I recommend Maida Smiles most highly to anyone!

So far the best experience I had in 6 years in a dental clinic in London. had an issue with a crown that I did months ago back in my country, after spending money and time in two clinics in Fulham and putney I found my solution at maida smile. They took a good timing explaining and showing detail by details the reason that it happened and how to prevent it. Since I traveled all the way from Cambridge for my treatments Dr Pedro was attentive and flexible regarding my appointments. My Invisalign journey lasted around 6 months using the actual invisible braces (10 trays both arches and 10 refinements upper only), in total 10 months due to the pandemics. After teeth whitening and minor composite bonding and to even out the formats my smile was complete and I’m beyond happy with it. I feel so much more confident and I can’t thank Dr Pedro Laranjeira enough. I recommend this clinic so much that my mother and 2 friends have had their treatments and absolutely love the clinic. The BEST dentist clinic I’ve been to. I’ve had composite bonding at Maida Smiles and my chipped tooth is now perfect, with a completely natural looking finish! I also had all 4 wisdom teeth taken out and was extremely nervous but every single member of staff from the dentist doing the procedure, to the nurse and reception team made me feel so relaxed and called me the following day to check how I was. I loved my first visit to Maida Smile Dental Clinic. The staff member at reception was very warm, welcoming and professional. My dentist, Priscilla, and her assistant were fantastic. I have quite sensitive teeth near my gums and I can find the probing and inverstigation quite uncomfortable during a consultation, but this wasn't the case at all. I didn't experience discomfort and felt in very safe hands. This also applied to the hygenist work. I didn't even have to ask Priscilla to avoid using the ultra sound cleaner on the sensitive areas of my teeth. I'm looking forward to going back, and that's not often you can say that about going to the dentist!

Pedro was so patient and professional throughout my treatment for my implants.. I chose to have my treatment with a local anaesthetic rather than any sedation and have a very bad gag reflex when anything touches the back of my throat. His patience throughout the experience was wonderful, completely putting me at ease and he also gave me a technique to help me in the future. I have seen him for my follow up and fully intend to book an annual visit in 2020. which is no small thing as I live 60 miles away. I can thoroughly recommend him for any treatment.

Pedro was brilliant from the start and explained every option that I had open to me, he also took time to run through the process after I had opted for an implant. As a nervous patient I think he had is work cut out but I really had nothing to be worried about, the service and care that Pedro provided to me throughout the process was faultless and the end result was perfect, I really can't even tell that I have had an implant. A year on from the first I found myself in need a second implant, this time around I didn't even need to consider the options and opted to see Pedro again and as before the final result is faultless. I was referred to Maida Clinic in an emergency appointment by my orthodontist. 10:30am I was in the middle of extraction when the tooth was broken in half and the orthodontic clinic did not have the tools to complete the extraction – BAD really, imagine my horror when they told me this. They immediately rung Maida Clinic to arrange an emergency appointment but at that time the only available slot is not until 6:30pm. Since it is urgent the orthodontist told me to make my way to Maida Vale. Upon arriving I was greeted by the very nice clinic manager Melanie, Melanie was very helpful. She’s explained what the situation to their dentist at the time Maria and did their best to accommodate me right away even if their schedule is fully booked. They did the x-ray on their lunch break and surgery afterwards. During the surgery they have been very patient and made sure I’m comfortable, explained everything very well. They’ve used all their tools to get my very complicated tooth out. I wouldn’t know what would I have done if Maida Clinic didn't accommodate me at that time. The next day Melanie rung me to make sure everything is okay – which was really good. I can highly recommend this clinic, they are very professional, and you can guarantee that they care about their patient wellbeing and is not just about money. Thank you Maida Clinic!

In my 70 years I've had some bad experiences with dental treatment so it takes a lot for me to relax but, from my initial consultation, through to the end of the treatment, I had complete trust in Pedro's expertise: preparations for the treatment and after-care were extremely thorough and fully explained, the treatment itself was surprisingly endurable (considering what was involved) and the implants have made a major difference to my life. If you are considering implants then I would whole-heartedly and sincerely recommend Pedro for this work.

Speaking with the staff, they were bright, energized, and pleasant. Dr Gutierrez carried out a double implant procedure on two adjacent teeth. He explained exactly what this would entail, laid out a timetable for each stage and the itemised cost. He provided good advice on pain management and post-op care and I was confident he was providing the highest level of expertise and care. It has been a smooth process all the way through and I would recommend Dr Gutierrez for this type of treatment.
