I have recently completed orthodontist treatment with Dr.James. I had big issue with spaces. In the beginning I have had nice consultation where Dr. James have explained all available options. I have gone for metal braces as they were given most result and were quicker. I have been wearing them for almost 2 years. I had check up appointments every month where Dr. James was explaining me about changes and further options, taking to account my opinion and expectations. All the way during the treatment communication was amazing, I have had a feeling I am being take care of in a good way and Dr. James has been doing what’s best for me, ensuring my opinion matters. I have taken my braces off one month ago. I am still getting used to my new smile as I used to hide my teeth before. The result is amazing and I have already received a lot of compliments. It’s definitely have boost my confidence. I am very happy with the result and the job Dr. James have accomplished, and would definitely recommend to go with Dr. James for orthodontist. Just wanted to tell a big thank you to Dr. James for all the hard work, patience and support. New smile has really made good influence on my life.

Great place to go to for your teeth, and I commute a long way. The dentist was very reassuring, didn't shame me for my dental health (as some dentists have at other practices) and explained succinctly all the processes I wanted to know about .. The prices are fair, they don't try to take advantage and implore you to have unnecessary work done, and I am extremely surprised at how painless my fillings were. I have completed my treatment throughout covid lockdown. With easy access to the dental clinic and Dr Alex via email and phone call. I Also had 4 teeth extracted and had fear of needles. The Sergio Dr Daniel made me feel in ease and relaxed during the extraction and overcame my fear of needles. I also had a teeth heigeyn cleaning by Emily, Fiona and Rabia. I'm so grateful that I've found Dr Tatiana M. She is super knowledgable and clear in her assessments. She's honest with any diagnosis or any pros and cons around possible remedial treatments. She cares about your oral health. She's very approachable and easy to talk to. In addition to being an excellent periodontal professional, she offers hygienist services: it was the only pain-free hygienist appointment I've had in my entire life! and of course, since she's a gum specialist herself, she won't harm your gums during the cleaning process. ODL have been part of my life for a long time, I had my braces with them about 3 years ago, with Dr Alex and I’m extremely happy with the results. Since then ODL stayed part of my oral care. I have just finished my orthodontics treatment with ODL. I can not recommend this dental practice enough. Dr James has been nothing but excellent thought-out the whole process. He took the time to explain my treatment plan and what could/could not be achieved. He listened to what I had to say and based his recommendation on what I aimed to achieve. I was pleasantly surprised by the impartial advice offered during my consultation for veneers by Dr Angie. I had initially requested Porcelain veneers but Angie recommended the composite model (which is much cheaper) so that my tooth enamel may be preserved (I am only in my early 20s). I had doubts about the aesthetic quality of composite bonding but now that the treatment is done, I am extremely pleased with the results – perfect but still natural look teeth. It takes a lot of talent to produce these results with composite and with Dr Angie you are in safe hands. My case was particularly complicated (my jaw structure is not symmetrical) but she still delivered an excellent result at a very affordable price. The receptionists were also friendly and welcoming during my phone calls and visits. I can’t recommend Dr Angie and this clinic enough for anyone looking to get veneers in the UK.

I recently moved to ODL City Dental Clinic, and had the pleasure of visiting their newly renovated Finsbury Circus practice to commence orthodontic treatment. The team of dentists, technicians and reception staff were so lovely and friendly and extremely professional. Dr Alex and Sarah who treated me at this appointment were incredibly thorough both in their treatment and explaining what I should expect from the treatment process. The clinic has a state of the art fit out yet is stylish and comfortable and extremely hygienic with Covid protocols clearly in place. If you like me worry about being judged on your teeth or receiving a brutal analysis of what work needs to be done (by dentist who then quote you a high sum and recommend you do it immediately) I can honestly say the staff here are really kind and gentle in their approach to a sensitive subject. From day one I felt confident in the treatment I was getting. Dr James was very honest and detailed in what work needed to be done and what results to expect. Throughout the treatment he was very attentive and the staff very pleasant and helpful. Fantastic experience with ODL! Everyone has been incredibly welcoming and professional. My dentist Dr James has been informative, approachable and kind from the very beginning. I had metal braces for 10months which were removed in October '19. I could not be more pleased with the results and I didn't expect my teeth look much better than I expected. I feel much more confident in myself and I have no regrets in choosing this dental service as I was initially very apprehensive about going to the dentist. I have recommended this service and Dr James to various friends and colleagues (and everyone who asks), two of whom have booked to see him and one is currently receiving treatment (who is also very satisfied with the care received). Cannot recommend this Dental Team & Alex (Orthodontist) more! They have been looking after my teeth/ orthodontics since 2005 to this day 2020. Alex has done an amazing job ensuring my permanent brace and removable retainers are holding my teeth in place and the hygienists/ team have made sure everything is healthy and clean before changing/ removing my permanent retainer(as suggested by Alex) as it was no longer needed. This made me extremely happy and the overall service was impeccable. I will be back for my next check up soon as possible and wishing all the ODL teams a safe and healthy period during this time.

I really can’t recommend this clinic enough. Two years ago I had VERY crowded teeth, and by ‘very crowded’ I mean that every single tooth of mine was going in a different direction. I was worried that I’d need to have one tooth removed because of that, but Dr John who’s a great specialist, managed to straighten my teeth without doing it. The clinic has always been helpful and professional, all the doctors were lovely and great at what they do. To give you a picture, once I nearly fell asleep while having my filling done, because the dentist was so delicate that I barely felt anything 😂 And all the nurses are very smiley and really put you at ease when they see that you’re a bit stressed (which was me all the time). The prices are cheaper than in other clinics I saw online, but this clinic proves that you don’t have to spend ridiculous amount of money to have beautiful teeth. And the fact that you don’t pay everything upfront is very helpful too. I strongly recommend this clinic, but as much as I loved all the doctors - you NEED to book with Dr John! ☺️

I found ODL while searching online early this year. It catch my attention because of its affordable prices and opening time, as it fits with my out-of-office hours. I’ve been having braces with them ever since and I couldn’t have picked a better place to do so. What I value the most is how Dr Alex details which stage of the treatment I am in during each session and what follows after that so I’m aware of the change. I started the treatment at the Old Street location but recently moved to Moorgate as sometimes ODL old street could be overcrowded. So far, my experience has been a pleasant one and will keep coming back for other treatments after my braces are taken off.

Every filling I have had in this clinic never caused me any concerns. Dr Sarah is an absolute star in all she does - from a standard filling to a root canal and a crown. Due to personal reasons I had to move to a different town, but after a terrible experience with a local dentist, I decided to come back to this clinic despite an over an hour commute one way. They are not only great in treating your teeth, but they are also great in fixing the damage from other clinics. Service is very good, I had upper and lower metal braces and my teeth straightened out perfectly within around 4 months. The only issue is clarity on progress, when visiting the Orthodontist Monika she would never tell me what was going on when I asked questions or she would just defer/ignore them. Therefore I sometimes felt that I was just being kept on for treatment so more money was made from me. It got to the point where I had to book a 'chat' with my orthodontist in order to actually find out what was going on. Other than that, I've had a pleasant experience with ODL.

Orthodontist: Dr John Treatment: Metal braces; upper and lower. Length: May 2018 – Sept 2019. Cost: £2390 (incl. 2x cleaning sessions and retainers) Background: I had braces when I was 12 years old on the NHS. I didn’t wear my retainers so my teeth inevitably shifted back. I’ve always been weary of going to the dentist due to bad experiences during childhood so I refused to do anything about my teeth until 24! First appointment: The consultation was easy to book, I had most of the appointments at Moorgate – it’s right outside the tube station. I only had 3 appointments in Old Street but both locations are easily accessible. Dr John had a look at my teeth, walked through the options and asked if I had questions. He has a lovely calming demeanour and incredibly professional. During my appointment my smile was looked at, lips measured and I had photos taken. I had a follow-up appointment to take x-rays, cleaning and the fitting of the braces. I chose the metal braces because I’ve had them before and I’m not fussed about the look – they work the quickest and they are the most durable. Check-ups: Take about 5-10 mins unless dentist wants to amend the positioning of the brackets to better assist the movement of teeth. I did have my teeth filed to remove the ‘dark triangle’ gaps often seen where teeth aren’t flush together. At each appointment he asked me if it was going well and if I’m liking the progress. Near the end he asked if I wanted to change anything and I had noticed on the upper right canine that the gum was a bit lower than on the left. He happily numbed the area and cauterised the gum until it was even. Removal: Quick and easy, teeth were polished and cleaned and then photos were taken. A metal wire was cemented to the top and bottom front teeth. Impressions for removable retainers were also taken. I picked up my retainers a couple of days after, the nurse checked they fit and also gave me 2x vials of whitening gel to use overnight as well as my teeth impressions in the event of needing to remake the retainers. Final check-up: Dr John check my teeth were all fine and I was coping with the retainers. Overall I would highly recommend Dr John and ODL dental. The entire experience was effortless, all the receptionists were lovely, I never had an issue with rearranging appointments to suit work and I believe the payment methods are an advantage. Dr John has restored my faith in dentists and I’m elated with my results. Throughout the treatment I could see the effort that he went through to achieve perfection and how much he enjoys what he does. He has given me my confidence back and I am smiling so much more (I’ve attached a photo, my teeth look fantastic). Thank you Dr John.

I was weary of getting braces at 28 and I was especially weary of ODL at first because their prices were so much better than the other practices around. He even came in on his day off to remove them for me! My experience with my last dental practice wasn't great, they constantly tried to make more money off of me. My first dental experience in London, about 10 years ago was horrific. I am not being dramatic for the sake of being dramatic here; but I did go to a Harley street dentist (with a price to match his swanky office) for 'tooth ache', and ended up with a botched root canal that culminated with a tooth removal and a dental implant back in NY. I had just moved to London from NYC, and I ended up in Harley street on a colleague's recommendation. When I went back to NY to see my dentist he was shocked to see the work so I swore off dentists in London. Yes, I know, irrational, but hey I did lose a tooth so one could say I was scarred for life? Fast forward a few years and I needed braces, knowing this would be harder to manage than teeth cleaning and check ups from NY I went to a couple of 'well known' orthodontists, one of which suggested metal plates would solve my issue (which frankly in some circles wouldn't even be an issue, but I wanted to fix it!). And to make a long story short it is how I met, Alex and how I finally gave up my beloved NYC hippy dentist for ODL. Alex's practice, was also a referral from a colleague at work (who most likely was sick of my whining & meaning about my dental experiences). I went, met Alex and as the saying goes, the rest is history. He is incredible. The ultimate professional, extensive knowledge that believes in patient involvement, strict but caring (Alex if you read this, I do try to wear my retainer... Most of the time!), passionate about oral hygiene, puts you at ease, has the gentlest touch and great manual dexterity. I have been going to ODL for years now, for teeth cleaning, a complete crown reconstruct, fillings. I have never experienced anything but ultimate professionalism, quality work from every single person in the surgery's staff. And frankly, for the bottom line focused ones, at good prices.

Dr. Lida Arjomand did my Invisalign treatment, which concluded, with my final visit in December 2017. Today is nine months later and I'm amazed at the spectacular appearance of my teeth. Prior to obtaining Invisalign with ODL, I had metal braces in the U.S. and the treatment did not go well. I was disappointed with my experience throughout the process, especially the final outcome of my teeth (which began to separate within a week of having my braces removed).
