She explained the treatment so I understood exactly what she was going to do, she gave me great advice on oral gum care at home. Once you find a good dentist, you stay with the practice no matter how many times you move house. I started in 1960 when the practice - and I - lived in Fulham. Then there was the move to Fulham Road with much improved facilities. Then the great little practice in the New King's Road offers a range of services. I see the very, very attractively Irish hygienist regularly and Ayzaz the leader of the practice as necessary for treatment. The only way to describe Ayzaz' talent is to say that out of town dentists come to see him work. If you care about your teeth then this is where you can safely come.

I don’t think I’ll ever be someone who enjoys going to the dentist, but the friendliness and knowledge of the Pure Smiles team make the whole experience much less daunting. The treatment I have received from them is incomparable with that I received from my previous dentist - due to the high tech equipment and their level of skill as practitioners. I had put off necessary dental treatment for over 30 years so needed a lot of work done. Pure Smiles fitted me into several short spaced but long appointments to complete all the overdue treatment quickly. Although it wasn’t exactly ‘pleasant’ I was never in pain and was even distracted enough to laugh at the TV program I was watching with head phones on. Their use of modern technology means much less discomfort after anaesthetics, and no moulds required. I don’t think I’ll defer dental treatment again since this positive experience.

Beautiful place and great service! I was introduced to the new puppy who helps patients feel calm and as a client you are encouraged to pet! Great idea. My first time here and I was treated very warmly. All my worries were allayed with a thorough run down of what I could expect from my 45 min hygienist appointment. I was asked to pick a Netflix program which I could listen to on headphones while the lovely hygienist worked away- really good idea! Can’t say how well I was treated and how clean my teeth are! First time a hygienist had explained in detail after the treatment how to carry on looking after my teeth. Even though I live outside Richmond I would definitely travel back to Pure Smiles again.

Going to the dentist's practice shouldn't be a scary event, but almost as pleasant an experience as, say, going to the hairdressers; you come out smiling and happier than when you first arrived. This is certainly true of Pure Smiles. From the friendly helpfulness of the reception staff to the hygienist(s) and dental surgeons themselves, patients are shown nothing but kindness and respect. Dental care is explained in a non-patronising way, with prevention being top of the list. I have been a patient here since before this practice became Pure Smiles. I have never regretted my decision to stay with them. Indeed, if I ever move out of London I would travel back here to see dentist's in whom I have total trust!

Overall excellent experience at Pure Smile. Skills of the Dentists and Hygienists seem excellent and give great confidence. For long procedures, it is worth being able to watch TV or Netflix thanks to the ceiling mounted TVs. Great family owned business. I have been coming to Pure Smiles since around August 2013, after deciding I wanted Invisalign to straighten my teeth before my wedding. From the first day I met Rd. Shiraz, I felt so comfortable and at ease. He was both knowledgeable and personable. I really liked how patient he was and how calmly and clearly he answered all of my questions. I could tell that he enjoyed helping me to understand more about the process and never showed any signs of being bothered by my many questions. I also felt he was trustworthy and honest, which for me, is the most important thing about choosing a doctor. I never felt pressured to do something that I was unsure about. My experience with reception has always been very positive. Juan not only remembers who I am when I call, but remembers who my husband is as well! He is friendly, courteous and always tries to work with my schedule to give me an appointment that suits me. I was offered tea by one of Dr.Shiraz's assistants while I waited, and that tea was just what I needed on that day. I would definitely give Pure Smiles 5 stars, as there is nothing more that can be done to make my experience better. One of the saddest things about leaving the UK is the thought that I will have to find a new dentist!

I have used this dentist for a number of years and from the first time I went they have been friendly, knowledgeable and a pleasure to visit. They take thorough care of my teeth and offer helpful advice on my dental care routine. Both the hygienist and dentist were so kind when I had to bring my 6month old baby along to my appointments, they were really patient when I had to tend to her, not rushing me and all, and the dental assistant even entertained her for me and found Cbeebies on the big screen. I had root canal treatment and a filling placed at “Pure Smiles” dental practice and am very pleased not only with the results but also with the way procedures went. Dr.Sammy is a truly talented dentist, he knew how to diagnose the problem with my tooth that couldn’t have been diagnosed by the dentist from another clinic. He used multiple techniques to make sure the right diagnose and treatment were made. During the treatment he was very professional and skillful, I didn’t worry or feel anxious at all. Signed up yesterday! Have already had a check up, hygienist session and a filling all in 2 days (Pretty impressive), at my previous dentist I would have had to wait at least 2 weeks. Very clean and the staff are lovely! The hygienist Ciara Dempsey (Lovely lady) made me feel at home and relaxed, which is not the experience I had with the previous dentist. Sammy McCulloch my new dentist is great! Knows exactly what he's talking about, friendly and outgoing. Unlike other dentist I have been to this one has wide screen TV's that shows you pictures and x-rays of your teeth, helped me to understand what was going on, what was good and what needed work. Sammy is great at explaining just what needs doing and provides detail again unlike my previous dentists who were very brief/vague. Never had a filling done while watching TV before, makes it much more bearable (I mean who likes fillings!) and the mango sorbet they gave me at the end just topped off a great experience. Definitely saying on with this dentist now and being open from 8 - 8 means I'm able to work my appointments around my job. Excellent!

I'm giving a 5-star review but note - as comparison to the NHS dentists that I have been to in the past. The examination was very thorough and equipment used is the latest gear (I checked it out online). They found wisdom teeth that no previous dentist had ever found (sigh...) Treatment needed went well and was very happy at the measures to prevent any old fillings entering my body. The cost felt fairly compared to NHS but recently a friend had very similar treatment at a dentist in SE london and was quoted £400 more

Yesterday morning one of my crowns fell out...yikes! A hurried phone call to Pure Smiles and the lovely Denise squeezed me in to see Ayzaaz. Fifteen minutes after my appointment I left with my crown back in place! Everything about this dental practice is excellent. I am one of the 'nervous' ones when it comes to dentists :-( But Ayzaaz is brilliant with me. He's very calming and reassuring. Going to the dentist is a necessary part of our lives, so it makes sense to find a dentist that makes it as pleasant an experience as possible.

I registered at Pure Smiles two weeks ago, which is when I had my initial check-up, carried out by Sammy. The evaluation was very thorough and the following consultation easy to follow and very insightful, including x-rays and macro-photos for demonstration purposes. Sammy made recommendations for suggested treatments, laying out a timeline and explaining all necessary steps. The same week I was booked in for the dental hygiene treatment with Ciara, which again was to my full satisfaction. The necessary treatment of a tooth followed a week later. What initially seemed like a minor treatment from inspection and x-rays, ended up requiring more work than anticipated, as decay had spread deeper into the tooth. Sammy ended up removing a larger portion and needed to rebuild parts of the tooth. Throughout the treatment he captured progress to later explain the procedure based on the pictures taken. All while I was catching up on my Netflix box-sets via the screen above the chair and the headphones provided. The result is incredible; no visible difference to the other teeth at all, super happy. And surely happy to go back — hopefully not any time soon though. ;)

In addition, I had minor chipping that I wanted to get corrected before my wedding Overall, a really positive experience. He did a good job at explaining my different options, including the different price points and time to complete the entire process Because my change was purely cosmetic, he recommended cheaper and less invasive procedures, though he still took time to explain some of the more expensive options so I was more informed to make a decision Not that any dental procedure is relaxing, but it was great that they gave me headphones and positioned a TV above me. That way i was able to distract myself during the procedure, which made the time pass I also now use them for my regular dental / hygiene check-ups No complaints. Only challenge I had was they didn't take American Express

I hadn't been to the dentist for years when I went to Pure Smiles. The experience was so different to previous dentists. Shiraz explained exactly what he was doing and why. He explained that I was grinding my teeth at night, which was giving me headaches and took a mould of my two front teeth so we could make something to stop me grinding. I used this for two weeks and the problem went away! I recommended Pure Smiles to my brother, my dad and work colleague and they have all had excellent expereinces. I have since used their tooth whitening kit which was well worth it.

When my dentist retired, a friend recommended Pure Smiles, and I am so glad she did! The atmosphere is always very friendly and welcoming. Dr. Ayzaaz Akram explains dental issues, options and consequences in a very clear, friendly and professional manner and fully involves you in the treatment decisions. His treatment is as gentle and painless as possible using the latest technology, with an option to watch television. Once he treated me in an Iron Man costume as it was childrens’ day; what an experience! In addition to various fixes, he did a sinus lift and dental implant for me, which is working very well. The resident hygienists are also very good and greatly improved my dental health. I whole-heartedly recommend Pure Smiles.
