Reviews of Smile Matters

Best experience so far from the moment you step in to seeing results in the mirror as you go along.
Felt very safe in my two recent visits during the pandemic as they've taken every precaution. Rita was thorough and rigorous examining and offering painless solutions, an absolutely fantastic dental surgery. Explaining every detail and step to be on top of dental care and hygiene, and recommending the best tools and ways – looking forward to my next appointment after seeing such improvements in my dental health.
Recommending to friends and relatives, and would recommend to anyone thinking of booking some time.

Middle aged Guy who had spent far too long between denial visits ! I had to have a filling repaired, and I was a little anxious. The team were great and Rita's work was excellent. I felt so relaxed (I nearly dropped off at one point) and at ease. The cost of the work .. wow I really have been away from dentistry a while .. but the prices were competitive and reflective of other surgeries. Thanks Smile Matters

I'm a super anxious dentist goer but the lovely team at Smile Matters in Muswell Hill always make me feel really safe and looked after. The dentist (Rita) even practiced breathing exercises with me while I was having my X-Rays done. Rita took great care to go through the correct way to brush my teeth correcting my bad brushing habits, when I went back a few weeks later she said that my gums looked noticeably pinker which I was chuffed about. Great PPE procedure too, you can tell they are taking safety seriously.

I had my first appointment at Smile Matters today and despite having a chronic fear of the dentist, I felt at ease the entire time. My examination was very thorough and both Rita and the dental nurse immediately put me at ease. Rita explained the cost breakdown for the treatments that I would need and I then booked in for my first treatment.
As someone who has a longstanding fear of dental appointments, I would highly recommend this practice to anyone with the same issues. The receptionists Paula and Anna were both warm and friendly and any communiaction either via email or over the phone has been faultless so far.

What can I say about Smile Matters? The clue, I think, is in the name of the practice. Every member of staff that I’ve had the pleasure of interacting with has been kind, patient and empathetic. They’ve gone out of their way multiple times to ensure I could be seen for emergency treatment, and when I’ve gone in also made sure to create a plan for me that I could afford. Rita (my dentist) has a BANGING playlist, a great sense of humour, and is a real professional. I feel very lucky to be on their patient list. If you’re stuck for a dental practice and you’ve found this review, I really cannot give a stronger recommendation than this for Smile Matters. Thanks, team!

This is the first dentist in 40+ years (Rita) that has given me step by step instructions and guidance for what I need to do dental wise. Genuinely feels like a VIP experience and would highly recommend to others. More medical practitioners should take a leaf out of Smile Matters book. Keep up the good work and high standards.

I went for a check-up yesterday and they offered to immediately remove a wisdom tooth that had been causing me quite a lot of pain.
Having a tooth removed is never going to be a pleasant experience but Dr Rita and the dental nurse were extremely kind and supportive and removed tooth quickly and without cutting into the gum. I'm certainly feeling a lot better the day after than most people I know who've had wisdom tooth removed! I've only needed one dose of painkillers and went to work yesterday afternoon and people were surprised at how well I was doing for someone who had just had a tooth out!
I also had a very good consultation with Dr Alsadi, the hygienist. I've certainly learned my lesson about having more regular check-ups and hygienist visits but she was knowledgeable helpful and - after years of hygienists - explained inter-dental care in a way that actually made sense to me as someone who has always found inter-dental brushes a bit tricky to use and never really been sure what I am supposed to do with them!
All in all, I was really impressed with the service received.

Went for an initial consultation today and had a very pleasant experience. The practice are taking may COVID precautions and explained everything clearly. The dentist was very thorough in her examination and gave some useful and clear advice. She then made a practical and most cost effective plan for treatment
