Dr Carlo was exceptionally professional, attentive and kept me reassured throughout the process (2x filling replacements). Dr Carlo went above and beyond to explain the process and aftercare needed following the procedure. He was gentle and thorough and showed a genuine care towards my wellbeing. I've been going to the clinic for over 2 years and cannot recommend a better service from the reception staff, through to the hygeinest and dental nurses. Highly recommend.

Good day in the Dentist Chair; on thursday I was struggling with toothache on one of my back wisdom teeth. On Friday I was seen at 8.30am, by 9am the tooth was extracted via recognition of tooth decay. Thorough check up, xrays of the problem tooth, and injections and extraction with only a mild pain experience....and I mean very mild. I have been seeing Carlo Risoli for many years now and a few years ago he had made up a plate for various teeth. It is an exceptional fit, strong and good looking. On top of that Carlo said today that at the time a couple of years ago he recognised the limited life span of this wisdom tooth and set up the plate fitting to be anchored on the tooth in front next to it ! BEST DENTIST EVER.

I totally recommend Marek the Hygenist. I often dread going to the hygienist as it can be painful and my teeth can hurt for a day or two afterwards. His approach is revolutionary.. My teeth felt twice as clean as normal and the whole experience was almost enjoyable. His relaxed personality makes you feel at ease from the start and the appointment flew by.

Like many people I have always had a genuine fear of dentists, probably going back to childhood experiences. However, Dr Risoli was amazing. He demonstrated empathy as well as expertise. BEST DENTIST EVER. I'm probably the most nervous a patient can be (without an actual clinical diagnosis!) and am made to feel totally at ease by Dr Risoli and his team. I am now a long term patient having originally visited Southgate Dental to help me resolve problems caused by dental treatment overseas. I remain impressed with their problem solving, innovation, and know-how to this day and would simply never consider going anywhere else. I am so glad I found them. I have been taking my children here for over two years and have always been extremely happy with their treatments carried out by Dr Risoli and the hygienist. I recently had an unpleasant experience with my own dental practice and so decided to see Dr Risoli as an emergency patient. I had a very thorough check up of my entire mouth and had my broken tooth fixed at the same appointment. Dr Risoli is a very calm, friendly dentist who inspires confidence and always explains exactly what is needed and what he is going to do. The practice is lovely and clean and all the receptionists are really welcoming, friendly and efficient.

This is my first ever review for something.I had a phobia of going to the dentist as as a child i have been having too many problems with my teeth and cleft palate. After 10 years i have decided to go to a dentist as my sister recommended me to Marek the hygienist at the Southgate dental. Honestly he was the best. If you are ever going to this dental make sure you see Marek. He was so gentle , kind and took my fear away instantly. Overcoming a phobia is a huge thing and he helped me with that. It did not hurt at all. I’m going back to him from now every time. Thank you Marek . You are an absolute star.

I broke my tooth at 4pm and called in a panic, spoke to a lovely understanding receptionist and was I immediately given an appointment at 8am the very next morning. When I arrived my dentist was the nicest man, so friendly and calm. Amazing service ! Cannot recommended them enough.

Carlo has been my families Dentist of choice for the last 2- 3 years and i'm very pleased with the service he provides. We have had check-ups, fillings, crowns and also used the hygenist. All services have been professionally delivered at a reasonable price.

My son had Composite Bonding today with Dr Risoli & we are SOOOO happy with the results!!! Dr Risoli was understanding, patient & skilful in applying the bonding to give the appearance of whiter, more uniformed teeth. The service is very professional and they don't keep you waiting long. I have been a patient at the Southgate Dental Practice for four years and would highly recommend their professionalism and high quality dental treatment. Dr. Risoli and the team provide a great patient service, from the friendly and efficient reception staff, to the expertise, support and excellent treatment from all the dental professionals. I first approached the practice for advice on orthodontic treatment and was really reassured by all the advice by the Orthodontist and the convenience of having all my treatment in the one place. My treatment was for a total of eighteen months and thanks to the professionalism, meticulous orthodontic treatment and overall reassurance and support from Dr. Shruti, it was an excellent patient experience. It was all worth it and I am really happy with the results. Additional Orthodontist Treatment Review I have been a patient with Orthodontist - Dr Christina Evaghoras for the past six years and as part of my post treatment review, regular checks and ongoing orthodontic treatment when required. Dr. Christina has such a friendly and personable approach, very professional and meticulous with the treatment and advice she provides and always takes the time to listen, explain all technical questions so clearly and helps to reassure me on any concerns I may have. I am probably one of the worst patient when comes to see a dentist. I have not been to see one for many years until a tooth broke and i had not choice but to go. I was seen by Dr Carlo Risoli who right away put me at ease. He provided a full comprehensive treatment plan which was clearly required. A long time ago a visit to the dentist might be approached with dread. Not since I started to be treated by Dr. Carlo Risoli about twenty years' ago. Now I see my dentist as calming and reassuring, and my teeth are the best they have ever been (well, at least since they were new, which is a while ago now). I would highly recommend this professional and meticulously thorough dental practice. (A friend of mine who is a doctor referred me). Last year I had to undertake significant work on my back teeth, due to the fact they had not been x-rayed for some years (partly down to pregnancy). This is now been complete and throughout the treatment I was impressed by the extremely high level of service and consideration as to the type of measures which were required. The root canal filling which I was given has saved my tooth and the practice had top range and relevant high technological equipment to handle such intensive treatment. In my view and from personal experience, it is not worth leaving teeth unattended, regular checks up and flossing are essential preventative measures to ensure there are no long term health effects to teeth. Wholly recommended- I only wish it was closer.

Dr. Risoli was very clear from my first examination of what was needed, however it was just that, without excessive further suggestions. Dr Risoli is a very careful and precise practioner with huge attention to detail and ensuring an excellent fit. Initially I was looking for the "celebratory whiteness"on my new crowns, however Dr Risoli gave his professional opinion from experience that it would look "odd" for my age and matching.
