A. H.Friendly & welcoming Dentists who make you feel at ease & listen to your concerns. I can also highly recommend the hygienist Jo. She was very empathetic, gave lots of good advice and reassured me that I was doing a very decent job.
D. H.Been here twice since moving to Wanstead two years ago. Big believer in leaving a review for something (especially public services) if your experience is overtly good or bad. On this occasion it was the former - I’ve had concerns about a certain aspect of my dental health for many years now which my former dentist of over 20 years continuously dismissed or ignored. Dr Amarjeet Chaggar listened to my concerns from day one and focused on them specifically in my return appointments to track the change over time using x-rays. They also assisted me in gathering my old dental records so they could be added to my record going forward - during a pandemic! Their advice was very useful and specific with regard to hygiene and diet as opposed to generic, and their general demeanour goes a long way to putting patients at ease. Would thoroughly recommend using if you’re in the area and all my best to them for the future.
L. B.Over the last few weeks I’ve seen the hygienist, Amarjeet the dentist & another hygienist Jo. I am quite nervous about the dentist and they have all dealt with me with patience, professionalism & kindness, explaining to me what the problem is and what to do about it. The practice is exceptionally clean with clear and adhered to covid procedures.
I’ve read the comments about reception staff. They have always been helpful & professional to me. I have also seen how much pressure they are under being ‘front of house’ particularly at the moment. Cut them some slack Karen!
The practice isn’t accepting new patients at the moment but thought I’d address the balance as I was surprised to read some of the comments on here - just not my experience in the several years I’ve been coming to this practice.
F. C.Having read the reviews I was quite skeptical of the last minute appointment I managed to get for emergency NHS assistance. I would have to refute that my experience was different to others. The receptionists on the phone and on arrival were polite and approachable whilst remaining respectful. Amarajeet was the Dentist and took time to explain things in laymen terms to me as well as diligent in the checks and thoughtful even though I was in a lot of pain.
The surgery itself is dated, unfortunately what you can only expect from an underfunded NHS system. However from what I saw the standards of the apparatus is hygienic, thus cannot be faulted.
F. M.I've been to a few of the dentist there over the years & everyone of them has been really professional & great, I had a brace fitted & again that was done exceptionally, I'm always greeted warmly by each & every dental nurse who assists the dentist.
S. R.I have been going here for a number of years. I have always found the reeption area is fine, the receptionists and hygienist are friendly and helpful and the dentists I have had know what they are doing.
D. B.Friendly receptionist; always tries to ensure that I can block book with my 2 children. Dentists here are very good with my youngest!
