I have just completed treatment for upper and lower implants and could not be happier with the work by Nick. I had previous dental implants by Nick over 10 years ago which have been fantastic; so when I needed further work, I knew I would be in safe hands. I am not local to the practice, but make the journey just to see him as he is a first class dentist and would highly recommended him and his team. So friendly and professional and calm and gentle. I used to be a very nervous patient, but I can honestly say I now never feel phased at having any treatment.

My wife and I have attended College Dental Surgeries for the last 40 years and it has gone from strength to strength with continuing technological updates with the latest equipment and treatment methods. The staff are excellent and the level of competence outstanding. One always feels welcome with their friendly and professional approach to patients. A few years ago, I had 7 implant pins fitted by Nick Spilker which support 9 teeth and I feel they were an excellent investment. The work was well planned giving time for healing before the next stage. I was surprised at the lack of pain and swelling during the treatment. Visiting the surgery during the pandemic you feel safe, the premises are very clean and a one-way system for entry and exit is in operation. Brenda and Gordon King

I have attended College Dental Surgeries for close if not more than 25 years. Recently I needed 2 implats to bridge 3 of my front upper teeth. (this was needed as I broke my teeth 50+ years ago) Nick advised me a few years ago that these crows failing and I would need to consider options. For me the only option was implants. Nick explained all the steps and the risks thoroughly and I was happy to proceed. Start to finish took a little longer than normal with me (due to my work schedule) Fortunately I was able to work with Nick and we got it done. I am delighted with the results and happy to recommend Dr Nick Spilker and College Dental Surgeries.

I've been attending the practice my entire life (nearing 40 years) and only have great things to say about it and all of its staff and practitioners, who are always approachable, jolly, take their time and make you feel welcome and at ease; all of which are especially important factors for those who find visiting the dentist or hygienist unnerving. The facilities are well equipped and ample. I've never had any work done that didn't need doing, nor had any possible issues overlooked, and the small amount of work I have had done has been done to an incredibly high standard- so I have always had every faith in my dentists there. Mr Spilker has been my dentist since he joined (replacing Mr Arnold) and he is genuinely excellent, as well as being very highly qualified. I could go on singing their praises but suffice to say I would absolutely recommend this practice.

Recently completed my teeth straightening treatment with College Dental Surgeries and honestly couldn’t praise them any higher!! The customer service is absolutely amazing, if I messaged them I wouldn’t wait much longer than an hour for a reply. Nick is a highly skilled dentist who has a very calm and reassuring manner and is a true professional. After the initial assessment Nick recommended cfast braces to straighten my teeth. The treatment was very straight forward and so effective, I only wish I had done it sooner! I now have the smile I’ve always dreamed off and I would recommend this to anyone!!

I contacted college dental surgeries last December to see what could be done with my teeth as they where severally misaligned with the front two being "butterflied". an affordable and reason plan was agreed and after 7 months I can say that I am amazed with the results, Nick was extremely pleasant and professional thought my treatment arranging for quick repair work when a couple of my brackets came loose early in the treatment. I can't recommend the practice enough to anyone looking to have dental work.

I contacted College Dental last year as my teeth were so crossed over it was causing pain and pressure. They were so warm and welcoming which is hard to achieve in a global pandemic but throughout my treatment they have been wonderful. I had a fixed brace on my top set and c fast retainers on my bottom set and received amazing treatment for both, taking just 7 months. The surgery bend over backwards to accommodate their patients, I broke off a piece of my brace eating chocolate on Christmas day and the day after boxing day they fit me in to fix it. The result has surpassed my expectations and I now smile proudly showing my teeth where as before I wouldn't. Nick was so lovely and explained everything thoroughly, as a worrier I very much appreciated this. I am so glad I got this treatment and am now using my at home teeth whitening to make my straight teeth glow.

From the moment I had my first consultation with Nick I knew instantly I had picked the right place to have my implant work done. Communication was always very clear with all procedures fully explained. Very gentle dentist and one of the best I’ve come across. When the implant was fitted, Nick wasn’t completely satisfied (it looked fine to me) so the implant went back to the lab for rework......until Nick was happy. I had been conscious about my smile for many Years, after exploring a few options I met with Nick Spilker at College Rd whom advised me of various orthodontic options to straighten my teeth. In the end we opted to remove 2 front teeth and replace with an implant and connecting tooth. I Firstly had my teeth whitened then I had a brace to straighten out one of my front teeth, the brace also incorporated two false teeth to close the gap where two teeth were removed. Once my tooth was straightened the process of fitting the implant socket began, whilst awkward there was no pain at all (something I always worried about) and recovery was quick. We then installed the implant and the connecting tooth and I also opted for composite bonding to two teeth to enhance my smile further. Unfortunately Due to Covid my treatment took longer than expected however the results have been nothing short of fantastic and well worth the wait. I’m extremely pleased with my smile and now have straight teeth An excellent job and I highly recommend Nick and his team whom I will only describe as perfectionists. 10/10!! Matt S

Good service often goes unnoticed but, credit where it’s due. I lost a filling at the weekend, not massive but enough to know I needed it sorted. I rang the surgery at 8.30am, had an appointment at 2.45pm and was out by 3pm, no injections, no drills, no fuss. Now I may have been fortunate enough to have got in quick, so the filling could be replaced without the extra work but, the dentist didn’t do it, as it didn’t need doing. All of which covered seamlessly by Denplan. Super service and Covid friendly 👍🏼👍🏼

I came to College Dental for an implant, replacing a crown on my front tooth I had since I was a young teenager. From my first consultation with Neil Spiker and his team I felt comfortable with how the procedure and process were explained to me and the clarity of the subsequent quotation. Due to several years of unknown infections my bone had worn away and required re-building, so was not a standard procedure. The detail of what would happen at each individual stage and timescales were clearly communicated to me. The surgery were happy to work around my busy work schedule and sent me handy reminders of my appointments. In addition to the implant, I opted for teeth whitening and I couldn't be happier with my new smile.
