I came here after being referred by the emergency hospital and the dentist was amazing! He was chatty and made me feel at ease and I felt so much better when I left. Thank you so much for getting me sorted and out of pain.

I am so thankful to Dr Umar and his assistant for seeing me recently and helping me with 6 fillings I needed after struggling to get an appointment with a local dentist that had previously signed me up but then refused to see me after covid. The treatment was done over 2 appointments and was calming, quick and painless which definitely helped calm my nerves. Due to the amount of treatment, I expected to be in a lot of pain afterwards but this was not the case which is credit to Dr Umars expertise as I am no longer riddled with pain. He talked me through what was happening which put me at ease and gave lots of advice in keeping up my hygiene. The fact that I am also breastfeeding was also taken into account in my treatment and I was also provided with a prescription for my aftercare which went above and beyond. From all my treatment with different practices over the years I have never had such quality of care and fully recommend Dr Umar and his team to anyone needing treatment. Thank you soo much!!

Absolutely fantastic dental practice – Dr Ten is amazing. Like many people, I’ve always tried to avoid going the dentist due to fear of needing work done (the needles and drilling etc…), so have only really gone if I know something is wrong. However, last month when a tooth broke, I required urgent help. On hearing my issue, Birch Dental Practice reception staff managed to fit me in the same day and Dr Ten put a temporary filling in to tide me over until the next week when he could do the full repair work. Dr Ten was very welcoming and shows a genuine enthusiasm for his work and patients. He was great at explaining clearly all the way through what was required and what he was doing, which for me relaxed me and really helped the process. He is extremely skilled in his work which made the process as painless as absolutely possible. I’ve used many dental practices over the years and this was definitely my best experience; so much so I’m definitely going to keep to my check-ups this time! The Practice rooms are spotlessly clean and modern, and all the staff I interacted with are friendly and helpful. I would (and do) recommend this practice to anyone I know. Thank you!

Dr Umar and his assistant Amina were so amazing. Dr Umar explained to me what was wrong very clearly and told me what the solution will consist of. From entering the building with friendly staff at reception, the cleanliness of the waiting room and then the service provided from the Dr is always to the best of their ability. The services provided to myself in particular were excellent. The nurse made sure I was comfortable and provided myself with glasses and a sheet to protect my clothing. Dr Ross Avery in specific made sure he throughly checked my teeth, asked myself exactly what my problem was and then made sure an X-ray was looked at before advising me of what needed to be done and checked I was comfortable with this. I was then given a prescription for medication I needed to help me and also advised of the best products to use for future care of my teeth. The quality of service that he provided was fantastic and I can imagine services provided from the other dental practitioners as well as the nurses is always to the highest standard. All in all a brilliant experience, all members are a real asset to the company.

I was looking for dental practice a lot more local than my previous one which I hadn't been to since before the pandemic. After phoning a few places I found this one which happened to also be recommended by a friend. This one fitted me in the very next day (I had a bad tooth ache) & were a lot friendlier on the phone than the other places I rang. A great team inc. I've been to a few dentists over the course of my 15 years in Manchester but been here with Dr Ten for the last 9 years. Absolutely outstanding surgery I've been to other dentists where I've been treated rudely and over charged but here the staff are friendly and the environment is very clean. Dr Ten makes the environment extremely relaxed and never over charges. He keeps you calm and gives great long term advice. Ive always been able to get an appointment when needed including emergency appointments on the odd occasion I've needed them. Wait times at the surgery can sometimes be a bit on the long side later in the day (less so now with new covid rules) but that is the price you pay for an outstanding dentist who takes his time giving care and attention to each patient. He is also absolutely brilliant with children. Both my children are happy to go to the dentist with no worries at all.

Who went out of her way to accommodate me. I was booked in to see the lovely Dr Timmy who was very kind and patient with myself as I am not great with anything related to dentist. He made sure I was comfortable and put me at ease in an instant. He's assistant Salwa equally as brilliant. So I left Birch dentist very happy and impressed with my results. Great experience from start to finish. Receptionists are very professional and courteous. I was in a great deal of pain and an emergency appointment was not available till a few days later, Amina one of the receptionists phoned me and told me that a cancellation had just happened and I could be seen within 2 hours. I’m guilty of attending this practice reactively over the years when I’ve had a problem with my teeth and wisdom teeth in particular. Thankfully, on all of these occasions I’ve been treated professionally and with the upmost care. The advice provided has helped me take preventative action as well. Birch Dental Practice was recommended to me for my 18 year old daughter, who was let down by her regular dentist and required urgent intervention to save one of her front teeth. My daughter was understandably distraught and in discomfort, but Dr Umar was very professional and reassuring. He clearly explained all the available options of treatment and their possible outcomes, which then allowed us to manage our expectations and seek the best course of action to take. Over the course of several appointments, he cut back excess gum that had grown over the affected tooth, removed the dead nerve and drained an abscess that had formed inside the tooth. As the tooth was ultimately unable to be saved, despite Dr Umar’s heroic efforts, he then made and fitted a temporary denture, until the gum had healed and then fashioned and fitted a permanent Maryland bridge replacement tooth, just in time for my daughter to leave home for university. Needless to say, my daughter and I are extremely impressed with Dr Umar and his team for their wonderful service, in spite of the difficulties they faced during Covid-19. I appreciated the time they took to reassure us and make sure we understood everything. Our appointments sometimes went over time because of this, but then I was happy to wait a little if my own appointments were slightly delayed, knowing that Dr Umar was doing a thorough job with all of his other patients, too. I would not hesitate in recommending Birch Dental Practice to anyone seeking dental treatment: first class service.

By far the best dentist I have seen, my dentist there is doctor umar I genuinely cannot fault him, yes sometimes you are waiting a little longer that your appointment time but they are a very busy surgery and he will always do as much as he can whilst you are there rather than make you come back at a later date for another appointment. The staff at reception are all polite and friendly aswell. I've been with this dentist for 3 years now and was there earlier today for an emergency appointment, xrays were done, I was given antibiotics, he then came out to reception with me and had the staff book me an appointment to sort the issue asap as soon as the antibiotics have done their job, no issues, no oo we can book you in again in a month (unlike my previous very expensive dentist who made a minimum of 3 appointments of a simple filling and still messed it up) just let's get it sorted.

Where else could you ask for same day appointment and then just sit and wait and be seen on same day. The clincian I seen was Dr Umar, one word I can say is he is fantastic. He discussed the treatment options with me in full detail. He is very funny and welcoming. I was happy with the overall service I recieved. I will definitely recommend the practice to family and friends. The only thing I would say is a downfall is the waiting time. As they are a very busy practice, but all I can say is that I would be willing to wait again. I have never recieved dental service like this before wish I found out about the practice earlier. I have been a loyal patient of Dr Tens for a number of years. He is truly a fantastic, qualified, professional and very informative dentist. The receptionist are equally professional, consistent, patient and polite unsung heroes. In particular Amina and Assia are extremely efficient and polite young ladies. There are times when you may be waiting exceptional long periods of time to be seen however this is due to emergencies. Still worth the wait in any case and staff are very apologetic.

Dr Ummar and his staff were well protected with masks and visors because of Covid. Lots of space between people and entry into the building was via a locked door with bell system. All good to keep Covid at bay. The reception staff efficiently multi task with telephone calls and dealing with patients. Dr Ummar treated my son and I efficiently and jovially just before my son is off to University where he would have struggled to get seen by a dentist. A great community feel to this practice. I've been going to Birch Dental Practice from I was in my teens. Who's is many years ago now It changed over to Dr Umar who was new out of dental school. His reputation quickly grew along with his customer base. I attended one day and was seen by Dr Ten and I was.blown away that you could have two dentist as equally as good!
