I want to thank Dr Mariam Belatter for expertly performing a lower wisdom tooth extraction for me recently. I'd never needed any dental procedure before and felt so nervous about it beforehand but she was really reassuring and easy to communicate with. She gave me all the information and helped me feel less anxious about it. I've heard so many bad stories about wisdom teeth extractions but she couldn't have done it better, it was done before I knew it! It's been a couple of weeks now and I've pretty much all healed up, the whole experience just couldn't have gone better really! All the other staff at Dentology have always been really good as well, overall I'd highly recommend them. I'm very lucky to have access to such a good dentist on the NHS and no longer feel scared if I need anything else doing in future so big thank you!!

Quick, efficient, clean, gentle... Inspired confidence, so I'll be back again in future. Update - 2 months in, and the filling has held as expected/hoped. And teeth whitening is going as hoped, with good results. If I remember, I'll report back after 12 months.

The best practise that I've ever visited. Staff are friendly, welcoming, and very professional. I've visited this practise in pain but left happy. The dentist is so nice and professional. She does her job properly and makes you feel very comfortable. She explains every thing and even give you all the option for you to decide, not to mention that she's caring and always advises when I leave.

Jenny Scott-Smith has been my dentist for a number of years and when I heard she had left her last practice, I was very pleased to hear that she had remained local and had no hesitation in moving over to her new practice (Dentology in Chorlton). I have had to be be a fairly frequent visitor to the dentist for many treatments over the past four decades (including root canal treatment by Jenny) and she is the best dentist I have ever come across. She is highly skilled and, perhaps as importantly, is very caring in her approach. I would highly recommend Jenny to anyone looking for a new dentist.

I have had my fair share of dentists and dental work in the past and no-one seemed to do exactly what I wanted. I paid a visit to Dr Mariam and she immediately knew what I wanted and listened to my needs. She was so caring, considerate and her attention to detail is AMAZING! I have seen her on several appointments and every time she is smiley and has a very positive attitude she makes me enjoy going to the dentist her dental nurse is just as kind and friendly. I have recently had my wonky teeth straightened using Invisalign, under the care of Mariam Bettalar. Mariam spent time talking to me about the process, offering advice and checking how comfortable I felt before I committed to the treatment. She went out of her way to provide support between visits by emailing me directly and also arranged consultations during her maternity leave. I cannot praise Mariam enough for the care, attention and my straight teeth!!

I've seen Jenny several times, and she's the best dentist I've ever had. I've never felt ANY pain despite having to have several fillings and a crown treatment, and she's been absolutely amazing. Just had my wisdom tooth removed and I don’t think I’ve ever been so relaxed at a dentist office before in my life. Everyone that works here always listens to you, answer any questions you have and are so friendly and helpful. Appointments are super easy to get, prices are so reasonable and the actual place itself doesn’t smell like a normal dentists office(that smell that used to scare you as a child!) and the rooms also make you feel relaxed. They are also super fast and I hardly feel any pain compared to any other dentists’ I’ve been to. I will never go to anyone else other than Dentology In Chorlton 😊👍🏻

I used to see Jenny Scott-Smith a my local practice in Heaton Mersey (for many years). I was dismayed to hear that she would be moving on to another practice, Dentology. However, I am pleased to say that despite having further to travel to see her, I have followed her to Dentology, and these are the reasons why; I have never disclosed to anyone my fear of dentists, due to some previous bad experiences. However, when I started to see Jenny, I knew I had found someone that I could trust. She is gentle, kind, and explains everything that is about to take place, constantly reassuring throughout whichever treatment you are having. Her passion for dentistry, and her work is very evident. I completely trust her with my teeth, and treatments, and would not be willing to see any other dentist. Both of my daughters, from being babies (they are teenagers now) have seen Jenny, and it is down to her that they have a very positive view on visiting the dentist, particularly my eldest daughter who actually has a fear of needles, and faints! She allowed Jenny to remove four teeth, without any distress. I would also like to mention Dentology receptionists, they have been very professional and flexible with communication over the telephone, in person, and with appointments.

I have attended this dental practice for almost twenty years. This from a patient that had a serious phobia about dentist due to previously negative experiences. However, one particular dentist soon changed that with her calm empathic nature, warm smile and absolute professionalism. And that was Dr Eva Lartey. Because I hadn't seen a dentist in many years, my teeth were in a terrible state and this had impacted on my confidence and self-esteem. But this dental practice, with this dentist at the helm, literally turned my life around and helped me through a very difficult time. And, this is not an exaggeration. The practice has also supported my husband over the years and diagnosed a trauma to his jaw that had impacted on his teeth. Had this not been managed, it could have caused irreparable damage. So I would recommend this dental practice to anyone, as they are more like friends to me from the welcoming and friendly receptionist to the wonderful professional dentists. I just can't believe that me of all people am saying such nice things about a dentist and the thought of a root filling, no longer fills me with dread. I now have a bright smile that draws positive comments from friends and family and I owe this to the professionalism and excellent care from this dental practice. Thank you.

I have experienced care through both the private sector and the NHS. Unfortunately my recent experiences with dentists around manchester had left me feeling disappointed with the care provided by the profession until i came to dentology and visited Dr. Mariam. She should be an example to all other dentists who don’t involve patients in decision making about their treatment. She takes the time to explain the procedure properly and puts a 100% into every procedure i have had with her. She changed my life and i fully trust her opinion. My mouth has never been so healthy and stable. I hope she is recognised for her efforts by both the dental practice and her patients because she is one of a kind and i will be forever thankful to her.She gives realistic treatment plans and even goes through private treatment options putting patient’s best interest first. I also have an active three year old toddler who has had to attend appointments with me on a number of occasions. Dr.mariam and her dental nurse couldn’t be nicer in helping me get through the appointments. The reception area is always clean and the receptionist is lovely and polite. I can’t recommend this dental practice enough.

Excellent dentist took his time to inspect and explain.
