I don't normally leave reviews for dentists but the staff here were very kind and informative. The hygienist made me feel very comfortable having given me an anaesthetic for my gums before the clean. Some thing I've never been offered and it made the experience far less painful than it usually is. Highly recommended.

Another pain free and pleasant visit to Maple Dental Care. As others comment, it is a welcoming environment to walk in to. Everyone is so helpful and calming. To think that I used to have to have injections to have my teeth cleaned but thanks to the care, dedication and assurances from the whole team over the last 30 years (yikes!) it is now an actual pleasure to go to the Dentist! Particular thanks to Ian and Ange for their care today. Also Katherine Walker and her nurse, for dressing up - and sounding - like crisp packets whilst I had my first "water pick" for nearly two years! Just L-O-V-E having my teeth scaled and polished. Visited Maple Dental Practise yesterday to see the hygienist . As I have problems with my gums I require a very intense treatment . As this can be a very uncomfortable procedure I have to have injections to dumb my gums. I can honestly say I didn’t feel a thing just a slight sting but it was all over very quickly. The hygienist constantly checks you are ok and is reassuring the whole way through the treatment . The staff from the receptionists to the nurses, dentists and hygienists are professional friendly and excellent at they’re jobs. I would highly recommend this dentist. If you are scared of dentists this is the practise to go to as they are fantastic !! 5 star treatment

After an absence of 12 years due to a fear of the dentist, I had to visit them again for an emergency extraction. I have been attending regularly now for 12 months. The whole team at Maple Dentalcare are wonderful, the 2 receptionists are always happy and welcome you with big smiles. My dentists have been Robyn and Tom, both are exceptionally talented individuals, but equally important for me, they are empathetic and put you at ease, they have worked with me to make me comfortable visiting the dentist again! They are caring and humorous and I would highly recommend either of them if you are anxious or scared! For so many years, I've been terrified of going to the dentist and I've had so many awful experiences in the past. But it's been completely different with Maple, they've really changed my perception of dentists. They explain things in detail and really put me at ease, they're professional and kind. Appointments nearly always kept to the correct time, all the team are friendly from the receptionists to the hygienists and the dentist's. The waiting areas are bright ,light and vibrant. It's not somewhere you ever visit with dread, in fact it's like calling round to a friend's house. I've been going 20 years this year, I look forward to the next 20.

A nervous patient who'd avoided the dentists chair for 7+ years, but after a bit of tooth ache took the plunge. I was put at ease by Helen before being introduced to Craig for full check-up (and was massively relieved that no treatment was required) followed by hygienist with Joanna, who also removed some stubborn lingering stains from my teeth... I was pleasantly surprised by the results. Good value for money from a professional practice who made sure each staff member knew the back story. My first trip to Maple Dentalcare was excellent..... I thought the texted appointment reminders were were a good idea and the email introducing your practice and its location were a nice touch, and useful. The reception staff were lovely on the 'phone and when I arrived for my first appointment they were friendly and helpful. While I waited to see Mr Roberts I was comfortable and relaxed in your waiting area. I noticed it was clean and bright and the "comments" box was a good idea and the reading material wasn't out of date and crumpled. My first consultation was very thorough and I left feeling very confident with his advice/options regarding my treatment. He was very knowledgeable and appeared to genuinely care. I also liked the way he interacted with the nurse, it helped me to relax. It was also my first experience of digital x-rays, a sign that everything was up to date! My sister was right to recommend this practice and Mr Roberts to me. After the consultation, the receptionist (I'm sorry I don't know her name) took the time to explain the payment details and also went to a lot of trouble to coordinate my first course of treatment with Mr Roberts and the other dentist (apologies again, I have forgotten his name) who is going to explain the tooth implant I am hoping to have. I am so grateful to Mr Hunt and his team for their help recently. On a Sunday, I broke a tooth. In a panic about my damaged tooth, and as being a very nervous person when it comes to dental treatment I was able to speak to my dentist, Mr Hunt, who so kindly re-assured and advised me what to do. The next morning I attended Maple Road practice. I was so nervous to have the treatment I needed. My tooth has been fixed, but now I don't know why I was worrying so much. The Maple Road Practice has handled all my dentistry requirements since 2000. Ian, and the team he has gathered around him, are clearly dedicated to their craft, sincerely care about their work, and have been unfailingly personable and professional in dealing with my own particular requirements down the years. All the work I have undergone has been explained in advance very effectively, conducted with the minimum possible discomfort, and has subsequently withstood the test of time. During my last very recent session in the chair, I was actually dozing off while having a filling done. With regard to confidence in your dentist, I can think of no better endorsement than that. The practice's success and reputation is justly earned. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them to anyone within their radius. Despite moving further and further away over the years I've made a point of retaining their services, and will continue do so into the future.

tl:dr scheduling messup that was quickly fixed, got flawless tooth removal and because it was so easy they reduced the price (private appointment). My dental surgery was squeezed in early because it was urgent. It had to be cancelled because I was going to be a bit late and the surgeon couldn't wait. That was upsetting, but within a short time they called back, apologised for the cancellation and managed to give me another appointment on the same day. I arrived early and they decided to do the surgery earlier. My surgeon was kind, and explained everything clearly and made sure I would be in no pain. The extraction was done cleanly in five minutes and I was good to go. Because it was so much easier than anticipated they gave me half off the cost (it was private). My thanks to them. One problem: public transport isn't that good in the area, so make sure you've got you're journey planned out well.

Incredibly friendly and welcoming. The patient care you receive helps relieve the pressure, and stress, of the dreaded 'trip to the dentists' and makes you feel valued. There's none of the usual 'antiseptic' smell and no anxiety-inducing, high pitched whirr of the dental drill. For anyone with a fear of the dentists this is the place to go. They will explain everything clearly so you're aware of what's happening, instead of just diving in and digging/poking around your mouth until you wish you'd never been born. There are dental plans available and they won't try to upsell any. They'll recommend the most appropriate for you. Since registering with the practice I've moved out of the area. It takes me a 40 minute drive to get there but I'd rather do that than go somewhere else.

I visited the dentist as an emergency visit, the whole team from receptionists to the dental doctor were great. Job well done, l realised that was not the first time l have visited this particular dentist. I used to stay in west Yorkshire, l was in pain for a long long time, one time l was admitted to hospital over the pain caused by the toothache. No dentist was willing to extract my tooth as it was either infected or its not possible to do so. I suffered for several months visiting different dentist. As l am not registered with any dentist l called the 111 and then called emergency number for dental visits. I was the most luckier person because l went to Marple dentist, a dentist took one look at the teeth and he said, l will extract it. That wss ,the biginning.of painfree days and nights. first of all this is a posting from Louise Bryers, I have been coming to Maple road dental practise for at least 27/28 years and even though we moved up to Scotland over six years ago I haven't changed my dentist as we still come back very regularly to visit family and business and the staff go out of their way to offer me convenient appointments and are always helpful if I have to swop or change with only 3/4 days notice, the dental practise is spotless, bright and welcoming with friendly staff, comfortable waiting areas and Craig is fab.
