I’ve had 3 appointments at Oakley with 3 different members of staff for different treatments and I’ve never met such a lovely staff base on the whole. As a nervous patient from the second you walk through the door your made to feel comfortable and for this reason alone I would choose Oakley over any other practice I’ve visited any day. Had a particularly lovely appointment with Hellia today who talked me through the whitening process; she was professional, personable and made me feel as if she really enjoyed her job. Only had my initial consultation but I already need to leave a review because they’re all so lovely. Can’t find an NHS dentist anywhere so figured if I’m gonna pay private I may aswell go for the best. They’re so lovely they take their time with you to understand what you want and explain what they can offer, as well as taking the time to get to know you as a person🥰 They offer both normal dentistry and cosmetic! I've had a few appointments now, one with a hygienist, Shahid, who was really careful and made sure everything was cleaned without hurting. He was always checking to make sure I was ok and didn't need to stop. I've also had a couple of appointments with Daniel too for fillings and root canals. Daniel explains everything he's doing, keeps me calm, and again works carefully to ensure I'm comfortable all the way through. Everything has gone perfectly and I'm really happy with his work. I'm so glad I've found a dentist that I don't dread going to.

Had my first visit today at Oakley Dental. Carl and Taylor on reception were so welcoming and made me feel at ease. Adam the dentist I saw was brilliant. I’m not terrified of the dentist but more anxious. Well what can I say he was lovely. Explained everything that he did and it was a thorough examination which I never had with my previous practice. I have to go back to visit the hygienist and Adam but will let you know my experience. This will be my forever dentist from now on 😊 Had my appointment with Adam today. Two fillings, brilliant didn’t feel a thing. Please, if your frightened of the dentist please give Oakley a go. They make you feel at ease and everybody is so lovely and welcoming.

Absolutely fantastic experience. Over the past months I have had fillings, crowns, whitening and an extraction done by Danny Watson and the dental nurses (I can only remember Amber by name, sorry!) - and it has been the most pleasant dentist experience of my life. No pain during any treatment and great communication and service. Everyone is absolutely lovely and patient. Does anyone actually miss going to the dentist ??? I will ,after just finishing a 3 month journey to transform my smile which is now absolutely stunning thanks to my amazing dentist, Danny.He took my teeth from being terrible and me hiding them when I laugh or smile or even talk sometime to being near perfect, if I do say so myself, you see Danny is a perfectionist and I like that in a dentist because who doesn't want perfect teeth and he will do that while your calm,comfortable and relaxed in his safe hands. The receptionists Carl and Chloe will make you feel so very welcome I loved having a chat with them while sat in the fabulous velvet chairs you can enjoy waiting for you appointment rather than dreading it (if you don't like the dentist) so if your looking for a dentist where you'll feel at ease and standards are high for customer Satisfaction then try Oakley Dental you won't be disappointed. For me, going to the dentist hadn’t been a thing for a good 7/8 years…until just over a month ago. I was terrified going in for the first appointment to find all the staff amazing, they made me feel safe, Adam (my dentist) was incredibly calm and told me I needed a few fillings (minor), and an extraction (not so minor). The second appointment (the dreaded extraction+a filling) happened 2 days ago. Walking in more terrified than the first time, I was greeted by the same amazing staff and had it done. Nervous is an understatement of what I felt, but I got the sedation so I can’t really remember much apart from putting Spotify on, thankfully the worst part is over and I’m no where near as nervous to go in for my next appointment. 10/10 experience, highly recommend :) Huge thank you to everyone who made it all good for me, I won’t be crying next time and that’s mad , big up Oakley Dental see you soon

I have a phobia of dentists that has plagued me for years and I just want to say what a fantastic experience I have just had at Oakley Dental. From the minute I went in for my first appointment, crying ,hysterical and wanting to run away, all the team there made me feel so comfortable. The reception staff were so kind and totally understand my cognition was off due to fear and explained everything at least 4 times. The dental nurses were lovely and the dentist was so understanding. It is the first time I have been to a dentist as an adult that hasn't dismissed me or made me feel ashamed of having my phobia. The dentist, sorry I can't remember names of individuals as I was in panic mode, explained everything gently and most of all reassured me that I could have the option of sedation. What a relief to be treated with respect and being made to feel that there was a way for me to get the work done. This was after 6 years of being too scared to go at all. Anybody out there who feels like I did , there is a way, the Oakley Dental way. Thank you to the whole team, I am a massive fan and although I still feel the fear I know I can do it now.

Amazing from start to finish! After bad experiences with other practices left me extremely nervous of visiting the dentist, I decided to try Oakley as it stated on their website that they specialize in treating nervous patients. I am so glad that I stumbled upon them. From my first appointment, (which was an emergency one) I found all of the staff were lovely and offered a professional warm welcome, nothing was too much trouble. The cleanliness levels were immaculate and everything seemed calm and organised. The dentist that treated me (Danny) was fantastic. He was so patient and reassuring, he explained every little detail in a calm manner and made sure everything was taken at my pace. He is an absolute credit to Oakley, and the reason why I will continue to return for all treatment going forward.

I was treated by Dentist Adam and Nurse Malaika today. Fantastic service, very calming atmosphere and superb dentistry. I don’t know how Adam did it but I actually didn’t even realise when I had the injection! Also I didn’t realise but I fell asleep whilst having my filling. I’m looking forward to my next visit!

I visited Oakley dentists, I chose this dentists as they offered sedation, I am dentist phobic just making the call and going into the dentists was really frightening for someone with a massive phobia, I took the plunge and went for a consultation, the state I got into was really bad, everyone from reception staff the dentist, they were all so understanding and encouraging, I have only been to the dentist a few times in 47 years as it is so traumatic for me, so inevitably I was told I needed a filling and 2 extractions, the fear tears, blood pressure was overwhelming. I sat in reception getting my next appointment everyone on the reception was encouraging, supportive as was the dentist, carl on reception said you know we see people at all stages and the one thing we all love is watching people leaving with smiles on their faces, I looked at him and thought you are mad you don't understand I'm not one of those people who will leave smiling, dentists terrify me, a smile you wont get from me, I was so scared I was disorientated Carl recognised this and walked me out the door and made sure I got to the car. well 4 sessions later, one filling 2 extractions, a partial plate and all with no sedation, I was talked through and assured at every stage of my treatment. I have walked out of Oakley dentists and have not stopped smiling, to the dentist and all on reception a big thank you. and I will be keeping my check ups no more fear of the dentist, I cannot believe I just wrote that.

I recently moved to this practice having had a few negative experiences with other dentists elsewhere. I'm a really nervous patient with sensitive teeth. I had my first treatment today and can't believe that I relaxed so much that nearly fell asleep in the midst of 3 fillings. I hadn't had the best of experiences with dentists and as a result was very nervous and reluctant to have treatment. My teeth weren't in the best shape and after a bad extraction elsewhere I decided to call, and I'm so glad I did. I was assigned to Adam, and so far I can say he has been fantastic; he explains everything to you so you know what to expect, and keeps you informed through the process. I had 4 fillings the other day, and they look brilliant, and were pain free, something I can't say about any of my previous dental procedures. This is probably the best dental practice I've ever been to. I was suffering from severe pain, I hadn't slept in 4 or so days and no one was willing to take me on as an emergency patient. When I was seen by a previous dentist, I had received antibiotics and no follow up afterwards. I phoned on the verge of tears as the dentist I was already registered with was not picking up the phone. Sabrina was so sweet and understanding she had me booked in for an emergency appointment 2 hours later. I was welcomed with kindness and reassurance that everything was going to be okay and that I would be taken care of. I had really bad experiences with dentists that I grew up with, making me really nervous even into adulthood. Dr. Adam was really great, he asked loads of questions, answered an abundance of mine (apologies for the influx), he made sure I was comfortable, tested every single one of my teeth to find the source of the pain, listened to me and what I was feeling and made great suggestions based on the information I provided. We did an extraction then and there and the pain was immediately gone, I've never felt so relieved. I spoke with Rayna, the business manager who again made sure I was okay after the procedure and arranged for a check up 2 weeks later. I ended up registering with the practice then and there as well as my husband. Honestly, I can't sing enough praises about this practice and the people that make it. I felt right at home and for once in my life, I'm actually looking forward to my dental appointments from now on. Thank you so much, to everyone at Oakley.

I haven’t been to the dentist in around 10 years due to a major needle phobia, but I knew it was time. I didn’t want to lose a front tooth, a back tooth retainer had fallen to bits, and thought I may have an issue with my molar. I did extensive research to find the best practice for me. I’ve been to Oakley twice now, with my treatment plan finishing with IV sedation in the next month or so for treatment. This will definitely be my regular dentist moving forwards! I’ve been put at ease on every visit and figure that if I can push through and have a needle anywhere, it will be here. Although I’m very nervous about the upcoming IV, I know I’m getting the best care (which eases anxiety slightly). Bobby is great and has been really supportive, as has Dr Steve and Clare. What a warm, friendly, welcoming, and truly professional company! I visited Oakley Dental on recommendation after around 15 years of neglecting my teeth. I've had a few visits now, the first one resulted in extensive X-rays, photography, measurements, and a complete compilation of my teeth and gum health ... very thorough ... my second visit was to discuss what they had found and everything was explained in great detail, accompanied by photographs so I could see EXACTLY what they were talking about. I was then offered a dental plan so that moving forward I wouldn't neglect my teeth again - it's very affordable and definitely worthwhile signing up for. On my third visit, I saw the hygienist (Eva) who was absolutely brilliant and so sensitive to how delicate my teeth were to the cleaning, she did everything so could to minimise my discomfort.. my teeth and gums felt amazing afterwards! I was then moved to the next room where Ritu the dentist fixed a failing filling and she expertly removed and replaced it without any pain whatsoever and she paid great attention to my bite and any rough areas to ensure that everything was perfect before I left the building. Absolutely top notch service and even though I am a little nervous of dentists, this one exceeds all expectations and I highly recommend!

I wanted to hold off on my review until my treatment had finished, but I really can’t wait any longer. I have spent most of my life being scared of the dentist and so avoided going for several years despite knowing I needed a lot of work doing. From the initial phone call with Rayna I was made to feel at ease and for the first time I was reassured about my fear rather than ridiculed. Every step was explained to me, even before I got to a treatment plan, they were so patient and kind. I was introduced to lots of the staff so I wouldn’t be overwhelmed when I came in for appointments. Then I met Steve for the initial consultation. I cried walking in to his room and when I sat in the dentist chair. He and his assistant Clare were wonderful, going out of their way to put me at ease and offered sedation to help overcome my fears. When I went back to discuss the treatment plan everything was explained in full, with coatings all laid out for me to see. Again, they were kind, caring and so patient. Work start a couple of months ago and I have been beyond impressed with their continued care and support. I can actually have a laugh and a joke in the chair before treatment now and today I was able to walk in on my own without needing my husband to hold my hand. I also got a lovely surprise that the most important bit of my treatment was being done today. At the end of the session today they gave me a mirror and I had a beautiful, beautiful smile - something I’ve not been able to say since I was a teenager. I got home and cried - not with fear but with joy!!!!! Thank you so much for everything guys. Words cannot express just how much of a difference you’ve made in the last few months.

I was recommended by a friend of mine, Aaron and he was telling me how friendly this place was, so I called up for a free consultation for invisalign, which i've been other places for quotes, and found that Oakley dental was best for prices and the service is brilliant! and Today i've had my braces taken off and had my teeth filled strighter at the bottom. I first contacted Oakley Dental in November last year, and I can honestly say that it is by far one of the best decisions that I've ever made. My teeth were slanted, had gaps and were generally in a bad way, so I knew as soon as I discussed the FastBraces option with Oakley Dental, that it was something that I wanted to do. As soon as you walk into the practice, you are welcomed by the happy, smiling team who leave you feeling reassured at all times. I had by braces fitted in January 2014, and they were off within 5 months. I couldn't believe it! I'd never thought I'd say this, but I'm now actually being complimented on my teeth, and it feels great to not to feel anxious or self consious ever time that I smile or laugh. I would firstly like to thank Steve and the Oakley Dental team who made the whole experience, not only bearable, but very positive. Going from having teeth that looked like a crooked great white shark (...and I am not exaggerating...) to a friendly straight smile. I feel that I have greatly improved in my self-confidence, mainly because I didn't want people to look at my mouth or comment on my crooked teeth, as it was embarassing and made me feel uncomfortable, and to some extent helpless to do anything. But, Steve has turned my morning into sunshine, because now I can smile with confidence knowing that I look so much better now that I have completed the clear-brace treatment. I hadn't seen a dentist for many years and I knew I needed a lot of work doing but I've got a bit of a phobia and I kept putting it off 'til the pain got too bad. I'd passed Oakley many times and it looked bright and welcoming, so I "bit the bullet" and walked in off the street. I was immediately put at ease...I cannot speak highly enough of the girls, so polite freindly and efficient. My first appointment was made for the next day and I came back to see Dr. Maskill, who's easy going manner is a breath of fresh air ( I have boyhood memories of the sadistic dentist that visited our school with a pedal driven drill !) No such horrors here, only the most state of the art equipment, constant and thorough explanation and..... NO PAIN
