Had a recent emergency but the dental hospital were taking too long and the tooth needed immediate removal as I am due to have gallbladder surgery imminently, too much risk of secondary infection if I waited. The team were brilliant, asked the oral surgeon to take me on as an emergency the following week. The surgeon was unbelievable, what looked like a big job turned into two minutes with no pressure or pain. It was the easiest extraction I've ever experienced and the surgeon was an absolute gentleman for my entire appointment. I'd give him 10 stars out of 5 if I could.

Had to go here for having a tooth out and it actually was a great experience. Luckily going to the dentist has never bothered me but as soon as I arrived I went in, the dentist explained exactly what was going on and how he intended to take my tooth out plus other info. It was a very, very relaxed experience and it took him less than a minute to remove the tooth with minimal discomfort, it was over and done with so quick then the nurse gave me info on what to do with regards to eating, washing my mouth out etc. Thankyou 🙏

This is my first ever google review & I logged in just to say this is the best dentist I’ve ever been to. Big up Dr Beth, she was sooo good I was too shy to tell her I was shook of the needles but she patterned man proper. After the first injection I felt no pain. What I liked was, she explained everything and showed genuine care. The procedure was also very quick. Absolutely fantastic. The best dentist I’ve ever been to. Big up the ladies on the front desk aswell, was so polite and helpful. I also didn’t have to wait long, my appointment was bang on time. Just a brilliant experience overall

As a very nervous patient she really reassured me. Came to Lodge dental for emergency tooth extraction. I've always had a phobia of dentist but I have to say every staff member I dealt with from receptionist to the dental team made me feel so at ease. My first appointment was an emergency, The Lodge Dental did not hesitate to fit me in the same day. I saw Dr Mohammad Ghafor, he reassured me, took the time to explain everything and was very pleasant and polite - so helpful at a time I was in distress. Each time I have been I have had the same treatment - outstanding. My appointment today was so painless, again Dr Ghafor reassured me and his assistant has also been so polite and helpful each time I have attended. The reception staff have also always been pleasant and polite. I would have no hesitation in recommending this practice. Thank you for looking after me, absolutely fantastic.

Having not been to the dentist for 25 years, I was a little apprehensive of what to expect. I arrived and was seen within 5 mins and x rayed within 10: the staff were efficient and organised. The results of my x-ray was discussed in detail and they relayed my options to me. The procedure was very quick and totally pain free; I was pleasantly surprised with how the extraction went. I just wanted to thank the staff who made this a great experience both during and after the procedure. Having removed the griping pain and the teeth responsible, I am very grateful for your assistance and can’t recommend this dental practice highly enough. Thank you

Referred from my dentist to go to the Lodge dental. Went for an extraction of a big back tooth 8/11/22...I was xrayed..procedure explained..tooth out and aftercare discussed within 20 mins! And pain free!! All the staff from reception to the dentist were great. Even had an after care phone call. Defo 100% recommend. Thanks a lot.

Referred by my NHS dentist in Stockport for the roots of a broken crown to be removed. Large rear molar. Really good experience. Clear explanation, discussed options for local anaesthetic immediately vs sedation at a later appointment. Opted for the former. Dentist described what he may need to do to remove the roots, but would start with the simplest option. Made sure I understood. Happily the simple option worked and the roots of my broken tooth were out within a minute. No pain (other than the discomfort of the initial injection), minimal after effects a day later. Good verbal and written aftercare advice. Excellent, definitely recommend. My only comment that isn't positive? The practice inside and out looks like it needs a bit of TLC.

Can’t praise Dr Sin Yong enough!! I have a massive anxiety over dentists and it had taken me a lot to even get in to the car and get through the reception door. As soon as I entered his room I felt at ease, he asked questions and listened. I had 2 teeth taken out, he reassured me and talked me through everything he was doing. I can’t thank him enough for taking my anxieties & fears away, both him and his assistant were absolutely amazing.

I was sedated the dentist and nurse were amazing explained everything that would happen and give my partner the after care I needed for when I fully come round. I would highly recommend the lodge dental for anyone looking for a professional friendly dentist. I have a very low pain threshold and hate going to the dentist but Shafia and Pamela made me feel at ease. I have tried a few dental clinics and I have never experienced a pain-free procedure, so I am extremely impressed by Shafia's dexterity, as I honestly felt no pain during the filling process.

My goodness, the lady we saw today was just fabulous. My daughter needed 2 teeth taking out. Our local dentist referred us as they were unable to do it. The lady (I'm so sorry I forgot her name) managed to do it with minimum fuss in no time at all, saving my daughter from being put to sleep. Cannot thank them enough. Highly recommended..

I was referred to The Lodge by my usual Dentist, to remove a molar that had gone rotten under the crown. The Reception Staff, the Dental Assistant and the Dentist himself were very polite, friendly and most importantly, efficient. I was seen on time and the extraction, which was done under local anesthetic, was quick and painless. If all Dental Practices were as good as The Lodge, the phrase: "I hate going to the Dentist" would become a thing of the past. Many many thanks.

I was referred to the lodge for a tooth extraction under sedation. My first assessment was very explanatory and informative and I even met the surgeon who was very reassuring even though I was crying. Today was the day for my 10am appointment. I walked into the room and tears flooded from my eyes. The surgeon Jansem Greval and nurse Summayyah Khan could not have been nicer. They talked me through everything again and told me how well I was doing and the next thing I knew I was up and leaving the room to go home. I’m a 48 year old woman who had the fear of a child. I can’t thank you enough for making this experience as relaxing as it could be, one I can’t remember and you’ve restored the broken faith I had with tooth extraction. I am so scared of the dentist ... I get wound up , anxious and am just a nightmare . My teeth were bad and I had to have 2 taken out . I was referred to North road Dental by the emergency dental line . HAD 2 taken out and then made a follow up appointment. So I got Rebecca and Tori . I have told all my friends and I want everyone else to know ... it was the best experience of my life at a dentist. . They were very calming , understanding and explained everything ... and I ask a lot of questions... all were answered . I had three fillings and a lot of drilling ... and whilst there was that horrible sound of the drill... no pain ... and I could take a break at anytime I would recommend that surgery to anyone ! All the staff are great ! Hopefully not see soon ... but in 6 months ! Lee
