I. P.I have been a patient here since 1969 when we first moved into the area. We have always received the best of treatment and Mr Hannon has a first class chair-side manner. He is thorough and careful in his work and gives confidence that we are in good hands. Would strongly recommend the practice for anyone looking to sign on to a first class dental surgery.

L.I was very impressed at how soon I was seen after a filling came out. I was treated by Roxanne - I was put at ease very quickly and the filling was completed very efficiently and speedily. I have been treated at this practice for nearly 20 years and I have always been delighted with the warm welcome and professionalism of all of the staff. What an amazing team!

Once I had filled the quite lengthy form in I went in to meet my new dentist Phil who was very friendly for a check up, clean & polish. I recently went with a filling that I had been having problems with and, as Mr Hanlon was on holiday, I saw the new dentist, Roxy. Sorry, I forgot her surname. It was decided to pull the tooth out there and then. You could never describe an extraction as pleasant, but I nearly did. It was done and dusted in minutes and I hardly felt a thing. I have no hesitation in recommending this practice.
M.I look forward to my dental appointments. I have (for more than 20 years now) always received the very best of care in an environment which is patient focused and of the very highest quality. I am also given the very best information concerning looking after my oral health in between visits, which makes it seem as though this is a team effort: I feel included in my own care. K. T.I am always nervous about going to the dentist but Dr Atkinson is always friendly, professional and puts me at ease. He is clear with his explanations and appears to genuinely care. The opening hours mean that I am able to get an appointment at a time that fits around my work schedule and the reception staff are always polite and helpful. Having attended other dentists whilst at university (many years ago now!) I was glad to be able to return to my reliable, family dentist upon my return to Newcastle.

Dr. Atkinson’s attention to the job to be done was of the same high standard as in the past. I hope that at my next visit he and his ream will be able working in a less pressurised atmosphere.I liked the two air filtering gadgets as the new acquisition. The only thing I was missing were coat hangers particularly in this time of the year but I well understood removing them.

P.In the last two weeks I,ve had a crown fitted and three fillings done , two that were difficult. My dentist, Mr Aekinson, and his assistants were better than first class I doubt if their are any better dentists in the UK than Mr.Atkinson.
V. T.Simon and the reception staff have always made me feel like an individual who know and care about me and my teeth.- well, they see me often enough.

My only gripe is having to pay for the PPE.
I pay denplan monthly and continued to do so during lockdown; as GP, I could have provided PPE including level 3 so I do not agree with the fee - but I understand this has come from a higher management level decision.

L. H.I have been going to Atkinson dental practice for years. You are made to feel at home from start to finish. It is very clean and professional look with a homely feeling. Staff are always friendly and happy to help with anything. Mr Hannon is my dentist and is always lovely and goes above and beyond. The nurses , receptionist are always outstanding. When I first joined the practice I had the pleasure of meeting the owner Mr Atkinson himself as he was at the reception talking to the practice manager I believe to be Rachel who where both lovely, Deffo recomend the practice to anyone.
