R. H.Enquired about having my wisdom teeth removed which my NHS dentist could not perform (for some unknown reason). I telephoned Heaton Dental Clinic and was given an appointment very quickly. Dr Raj examined my teeth and was able to remove all four the very next day. No messing around, it was done with ease. I was treated extremely well by all members of staff who are very friendly and professional. I have had no issues with recovery - I am extremely pleased with the care and professionalism. If you have any wisdom teeth issues please see Dr Raj!

G. P.What you see first forms your impression of a place. Heaton Dental Clinic is blessed with a bright, clean Reception area and pleasant Reception staff. This attitude is embraced by the dental practitioners who make patients feel as relaxed as possible. They talk to the patients constantly explaining procedures and nervous patients quickly feel less nervous. This practice was recommended to me, I am happy to recommend it to others!
R. N.Heaton Dental Clinic on Chillingham Road have been my dentists for many years now. More recently when I decided I wanted some cosmetic dentistry I had a consultation with Andy Ratsey. I told him what was bothering me and he explained the various solutions available that would align my teeth and improve my smile. The consultation is free and there is no pressure selling. After leaving and having a think, I decided to go ahead with the treatment and to this day I’m really pleased I did.
I would thoroughly recommend Heaton Dental Clinic, whether for normal dental check ups or cosmetic dentistry. All of the staff are friendly, caring and professional. Andy always explained everything at the different stages of my treatment and answered all my questions during each visit.
My teeth and smile have improved so much when I look back at old photos. I urge anyone who is pondering over braces or aligners to book a free consultation with the Heaton Dental Clinic!

E.As soon as you enter the Clinic ,you are met with a light, bright and very modern waiting room and Reception area There is always a warm and friendly greeting from the staff here ,and even when they are busy with phone calls or other patients , you get a smile and "take a seat" The appointments are realistically arranged and I've never had to wait too long !The treatment and hygienist surgeries are pristine and bright All treatments that I've had have been efficiently and gently carried out, and my Dentist explains procedures and expected aftercare very well so that you know what is happening and you can look forward to a good outcome without worry or even fear ! My husband and I both put faith and trust into our Dentist's capable hands , making our dental appointment and hygienist visits a positive experience and certainly nothing to be worried about !!

R.I hit this Clinic once or sometimes twice a year: double hygienist appointments (whoever is grafting that day) plus initially Andy Ratsey who went on up to fresh turf next door and now Raj, the main man. All my life I had visited the same dentist both NHS and for his final years pre retirement it was a private service.
Admittedly on my first visit here I was surprised at how little time one receives. No hygienist visit for me at this point. Yes, the price was low but I did feel somewhat short changed (don't misunderstand me, Andy is absolutely bang on in his trade and banter. This is how it goes).
The last two years from my six or so as a paying punter have included a none NHS priced hygienist session. In my case they do the bulk of the labour on my forty something year old filling-free toothy pegs. I've always found dentist trips oddly relaxing and I definitely still do. The highly professional female touch on the old gnashers is a winner (absolutely no offence anyone) for me at this Clinic. Hormones aside now, you will find the place welcoming, professional, tidy and recently extended premises are available to the coined up folk seeking a heightened service level.

One of my main problems apart from needles and drills was a gagging problem, they appear to have resolved these problems for me and I will no longer dread going for another check up.
