I felt the professionalism, friendliness and efficiency of all the staff at the clinic was very good. J. c.Rightly or wrongly, I don’t normally write reviews. However, acknowledgement for expertise and just efforts should always be applauded, so i believe. I represent the stereotype who is terrified by the prospect of visiting a dentist- after having an awful experience.
But, i found this practice online and after a lot of deliberating, i put my fear aside and thought- let’s give it ago.
From the moment i arrived at the practice, instantly, my mind was put at ease by the professional greeting i revived. Then, after booking in, things only got better as i was introduced to Mat Sims and his luverly assistant Tiff. Not only were they both a delight to be in the presence of, but they were clearly experts in the field of dentistry. Their knowledge of teeth was astonishing, and it reassured me that i had indeed made the right decision to visit. Whilst, i had innumerable things wrong with my teeth, Mat did all in his power to make the relevant changes, and improvements, to better my way of life.
Everything needed to do to get my teeth back in order was clearly explained, and a plan of action was put in place. At no point along the journey have i been worried, or confused at what was to occur. Once i had work on my teeth completed, i was introduced to Jess whom did a splendid talking me through all payment options available.
Fast forward to today, and already i can see the benefits of the visit. Needless to say, this amazing place will now be my permanent dentist practice. Honestly, if there is anyone reading this and you suffer from the same anxiety, fear as myself. Try this practice and you will never look back.

He has been with me each step of the way by helping me decide what procedure was best suited for me, explaining in detail in a way that's easy to understand and what I could expect at the end.
There had been a lot of back and forth in making small adjustments that I personally requested that suited me and I couldn't be happier with the end result and final look of my teeth.
Mat went above and beyond what I expected and has the patience of a god damn saint. I also like to thank the rest of the amazing staff there, really kind and professional.

D.I am a really nervous, anxious dental patient and after sub standard NHS treatment (horrifying, they didn't bother to chase my hospital referral for 5 months, when I chased it, the practice ignored me all the while my tooth problem festered) I was left with a really complex painful tooth disaster. I was referred to Neal for treatment because my tooth problem was extremely complex. Another private practice advised only a handful of experienced dentists had the skills and ability to resolve my problem hence referring me to Neal. Along I went to my appointment with Neal, I realised as soon as I spoke with him he was dedicated to resolving my tooth infection. Not one for leaving reviews, I can honestly say that the care I have received of Neal has been the best and highest standard. Had quite a lengthy treatment session for a filling and inlay. Mat was excellent, I never even felt the injections and he informed me at every step what he was doing and why and what to expect. Chloe the dental nurse was great too and they both made me feel very relaxed and comfortable during my treatment. J. B.I started Invisalign in October 2018 and finally finished the whole process a few weeks ago (covid delayed this slightly). I was told my case was quite complex as my teeth were very crooked and twisted. The results are more than I could have imagined and I can not recommend this practice enough! Although the Invisalign was an expensive purchase, it really was worth every penny and their service was second to none. They didn’t stop with the treatment until I was happy and if that meant ordering more aligners (at no extra charge) then that’s what they did. Their expertise and experience with Invisalign is exceptional and I am glad I chose them. My before and after pictures are incredible -the difference really is astounding- and I smile A LOT more now than I ever have -thanks to Mat Sims and his team.

J. R.I hope you will take the time to read my review. I've just finished my treatment with Mr Darren Cannell, I had 30year old veneers so you can imagine the state of disrepair. My normal dentist had tried to patch things up but I didn't feel that they had the knowledge or skill to replace my old veneers and give me natural looking teeth and smile.so I came across the cosmetic dental clinic Newcastle, they had the best and latest reviews. This is how I met Mr Darren Cannell and his team. The treatment I have had is eight front top veneers replaced, two Cerec, veneer crown, two white fillings and a dental hygiene clean. I can honestly say that from start to finish I have had the best treatment and care giving to me that is humanly possible, they are such a great all round team. So if you need help Darren is a very talented and caring individual with high standards for perfection and to do the very best for his patients needs between him and the technician in London they have given me the teeth and smile I have always wanted.

I was impressed with the strict hygiene procedures in place, which made me feel at ease with having an aerosol generating procedure during the Covid-19 pandemic. The work was completed a couple of days before Christmas and I am absolutely delighted with the result. E. M.I can't fault the service I recieved from The Cosmetic Dental Clinic. David, the dentist that did my treatment was amazing! Answered any questions I had and I knew exactly what to expect at each stage of my treatment. I was well looked after from start to finish, even after my Invisalign treatment finished and went to just having to wear a retainer, I had a follow up appointment after 6 months to make sure everything was still ok. I couldn't recommend David and The Cosmetic Clinic enough. Worth every penny!
T.The toll 20 years of heavy smoking and poor oral hygiene had left me with very damaged teeth and very little confidence in myself. I would always cover my mouth with my hand when I laughed or smiled. My teeth caused me a lot of pain and worry and the dentist I had seen since I was young did very little to alleviate my concerns, he also recommended against cosmetic treatment due to potential complications, however, I felt at 35 years old I needed to address this issue further. After some encouragement from friends I decided to seek a different opinion and after considering a few different options contacted the Cosmetic Dental Clinic based on the reviews of existing patients. I met with Dr Mat Sims around a year ago and he did a thorough examination of my teeth along with some x-rays and identified several issues including unbonded fillings and a failed root canal under a crowned front tooth that needed to be addressed. He recommended a restorative plan for my teeth and several options regarding the crowned tooth including a makeover of my top 8 teeth including a bridge, crowns and veneers which after some consideration I opted for. The treatment I received was excellent and reassuring throughout, the process was explained to me clearly to me and I have always felt confident in the advice I received both during my procedures and in any subsequent appointments. I don't worry about about my teeth anymore and have forgotten how I used to feel about them, I even get compliments about how lovely they look. As a result of my consultaions with Dr Sims I have stopped smoking and made some adjustments to my lifestyle which have led to me being a happier person which is priceless. I would recommend the Cosmetic Dental Clinic to anyone.

L.Having had a strong reluctance to go to the dentist for 20years , I decided to have a consultation with Dr Neal Heaher , Neal and his team put me at ease and explained what treatments would help restore my teeth both functionally and aesthetically. Following a number of appointments , 2 quite complex implants , tooth whitening and a filling I am now a lot happier with my teeth.
I think the biggest complement I can pay the clinic is I now have no anxiety about going to the dentist due to the ease all the staff make the experience.
I will stay with Neal and the clinic for my general appointments and may have a further treatment in the coming months.

Neal Heaher was named. Six months and more than fifteen hours on the dentist chair, I am happy with Neal from start to finish. I had absolutely despised my teeth for a lot of years as I had a severe overbite which really impacted my life. I previously had fixed braces as a teenager from an NHS orthodontist which were worn very painfully and annoyingly for 2-3 years. Following this procedure I was not given a retainer and then my wisdom teeth also came through causing major overcrowding and making my teeth even worse than they already were, I put up with this for years avoiding smiling, cameras and feeling really self conscious.
After years of debating I decided to go ahead save up to get the smile I had always dreamed of. I researched a lot and only wanted to go with the best and was recommended by friends to go and see Darren at the Cosmetic Dental Clinic in Newcastle.
I was so nervous after having such a terrible and invasive experience in the past but from the moment I entered the clinic I was made to feel at ease. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming which was a big relief. I had my initial consultation with Darren and he discussed all the possible options with me and what would work best for my smile showing me some case studies of other clients with similar problems to myself. I felt totally comfortable and excited that I could have the Invisalign which I had really wanted for so long. I chose this due to how discrete they are as I am in a trade where I have to speak to the public all day, everyday.
I have worn my aligners now for just over a year and my teeth are absolutely AMAZING. I am over the moon with the finished transformation. The aligners themselves have been so comfortable to wear and discrete that no one has even noticed that I have been wearing them unless I have mentioned it! The whole process has been so quick to achieve the results that they have.
