Dr Andrew Greenwood has been my dentist for over 20 years. His proactive approach to continuing and developing his dental education has reinforced my confidence with him alongside his outstanding level of treatment. I have recently had an implant fitted with him. I felt confident in the treatment plan he offered and he guided me through every step of the process. I am happy with the outcome both functionally and aesthetically. I would have no hesitation in reccomending his service alongside his highly qualified team.

Dr Andrew Greenwood and the team at Kelvin Lodge made the whole experience of having implants a pleasure. Andrew was the consumate professional, a leading expert in this field and it showed all the way through the process. I felt included from start to finish in the process, with explanations and demonstrations of the process and procedure. The whole process was pain free (not once did I have to take pain relief throughout the whole procedure). The cost was in my opinion extremely reasonable for the amount of time in planning, preparing and fitting implant. (Yes you can get this type of work carried out abroad by a so called expert at a discount- however for me, I had my work carried out by the best qualified and most professional dentist in the Region. I have been so impressed, myself and partner are moving dental practices to Kelvin Lodge under the care of Andrew. (I have been with same dental practice for 42+ years so a decision not taken on a whim) I highly recommend Andrew and Kelvin Lodge.

I have had two implants fitted by Andrew and his team over several years, plus Andrew has extracted two teeth which my National Health dentist was reluctant to undertake, suggesting I visit the Dental Hospital instead. Both implants are very natural looking and Andrew was at pains to ensure I understood the process and time scales and provided a quotation as to costs. One extraction took 90 minutes to complete and it was recommended I could need pain relief for approximately two days such was the cavity left. I took two Advil on arriving home from the surgery but that was all that were needed, plus the bleeding had stopped before I was home - such is the professional competence of Andrew.

Not being a fan of the dentist in general, I was quite apprehensive about approaching implant treatment which was going to take a few months to complete. I had no need to worry however, the treatment was wonderful. Andrew and his team who had been recommended to me by my husband, were always reassuring, caring and professional at every stage. I have just completed my treatment which included three implants, a root filling and a crown with Andrew Greenwood. The whole process was excellent from start to finish. It’s been a long journey due to the nature of the procedure. I never felt uncomfortable or stressed at any time. A detailed personal information pack was given to me soon after my first consultation. This enabled me to make an informed decision on whether to go ahead with the treatment. The appointments were made in advance at times to suit me and ran smoothly within the allocated time slots. If I had any concerns about my treatment Andrew was only a phone call, text or email away and always prompt with replying to advise me which was very reassuring. My new teeth look very natural and I cannot thank Andrew and his dental nurses enough. I would not consider going anywhere else for dental implants.

I had two dental implants- my front teeth. The whole process was excellent from start to finish. Andrew Greenwood and his team really cared about what the outcome would be. He explained the process fully, each step of the way and although it was a long road to get to the finished smile. It was totally worth it! My teeth look so natural that no one would ever know that they were implants. I would highly recommend the implant foundation. Andrew Greenwood has given me my smile back! :)

I cannot recommend Andrew and his team more highly. In the past I've had more discomfort having a filling than I had having implant surgery! The time Andrew takes to explain and make sure you are comfortable with the process meant I actually looked forward to my appointments. For something as important as Dental Implants you want to go to the best , and I only wish I had done it sooner.

This is a fantastic Dental Surgery, Andrew fitted my implants and from start to finish was honest and frank about the treatment and took a lot of care in ensuring I was fully informed, often taking extra time to show me detailed images and scans and explaining everything about the procedure to me. The process itself is a long one but in every visit I was well looked after and none of it was painful. The final result was worth the time it takes. The staff are all really lovely, very friendly and can never do too much for you. Highly recommended!

I had 2 implants which I'm absolutely delighted with. From my first visit till the completion of the process Andrew and his staff were outstanding. I must admit to being nervous but the professional and friendly manner in which Andrew informed me of every step of the process put my mind at ease, yes I went through a surgical procedure which for me was painless, admittedly a little tender that evening, Andrew and his staff were available for me to call if I was having any problem and I received a courtesy call the following day. Throughout the procedure I had no problems and I put this down to Andrews skill and the attention of himself and his staff. The process from start to finish is lengthy but in my opinion the results speak for themselves. I had an implant done by Andrew Greenwood at The Implant Foundation a year or so ago. It's not difficult to see why Andrew is regarded as one of the best dental surgeons in the country if not the world. He may not be the cheapest but you get what you pay for and I certainly wouldn't go anywhere else. There are somethings in life that just aren't worth skimping on and this has to be one of them. Obviously, I hope I don't have to go again, but if do, this is where I'm going. Highly recommend.

I recently had my first ever implant. It was done at the Implant Foundation situated in the leafy suburbs of Gosforth, just north of Newcastle. The whole prodedure was extremely professional from initial consultation to completion. Andrew Greenwood, the dental surgeon, gives you a detailed description of what is to be done,which is both enlightening and very reassuring. Kelvin Lodge itself is a grand building set in grounds with ample parking. No expense has been spared on the surgeries - the technology available for use is simply stunningly good. After your x-rays, photographs and millimetre accurate measurements, you get to see the computer generated image of the final end product. Following the preparation work, the actual implant procedure was so utterly straightforward and quick (done in under six minutes) that I'd equate the stress levels to that of a scale & polish! The implant foundation at Kelvin Lodge Dental Care sets out to be first class in every respect and in my opinion, it is.

What a huge relief! I've been with Andrew for over a year now having a bone graft implant, which I'm delighted to say has been a success. Having lost much of the bone supporting a crown, I was informed by the Dental Hospital that I must make sure I got 'someone good' to put things right. All very scary until I was lucky enough to discover Andrew and the terrific staff at Kelvin Lodge. The whole process was explained in detail, not sugar coated but with sufficient reassurance that I felt I was in safe and, more importantly, skilful hands. A very nice denture was made for me but I'm now so happy and grateful to be rid of it and have a fixed tooth again! Big thank you to reception staff, hygienists, technicians, Steph, Susy and . . . almost emotional here, Andrew, who I'd highly recommend!!

I was not so happy with myself because I did not take the post implant advice about good hygiene seriously enough and developed an infection .
