Poppy is a very professional, patient and passionate dentist/hygienist and I find that the staff here are all quite happy. I find their service to be of a high standard and the practice is very clean and tidy unlike some dentists I've been too that don't smell very nice either.

I'm terrified of the dentist due a bad experience a few years back from a different practice, however, when I went for my consultation here about a tooth issue they were thorough, understanding of my fear and very reassuring. when I went to have a tooth extraction just less than 2 weeks later,at 44 derngate,they had patience, and were really friendly and caring, the dentist nurse even held my hand during the procedure 😅 Great practice and would highly recommend

I had my first visit on the 26th of this month and I totally loved the whole experience. The place is so posh and the staff were really polite. Plus the health and safety policies (Covid.19) are excellent. I was seen by Dr Hemal Charadva. He took time to explain everything to me and he made me feel comfortable during the interaction. I felt really valued and respected. After the Xrays and other assessments, He suggested that I booked a follow up appointment and I didn't have to pay more money for it as it's part of the £75 package I had paid initially. I didn't frown about the price because it's the same almost at every private dental practice in London too. He actually escorted me to the reception to book the follow-up appointment. That was very courteous of him. My first appointment took 40minutes. I was given enough time. It was great. At some point, I worried about the pricing but he explained that there were several payment options in case I wanted to split the payments. That was very reassuring. I have my next appointment in January. So, I will update my review and go into detail about the assessments then. But overall, I was super impressed. Good energy.

This is a great dentist, way past the type care I am used too from my previous dentist. My regular dentist couldn't see me for 3 months - because of Covid, and I had an issue that couldn't really wait. So my sister recommended here, despite it being a 3 hour drive from my house, I am so pleased I came here. The first thing is it's not like a regular dentist, and you feel at ease there straight away. The rooms are open and very bright, and it feels like a nice place. I went to see Dr Ravi, and he was awesome, such a talented dentist, he's done a miracle job on my teeth, and I feel like I can smile again. He gave great non-pushy advice, and then I decided what worked for me. Thanks a lot to Dr Ravi and team - and I will definitely be back.

I’ve always had anxiety about going to the dentist which resulted in me not going. I decided to give 44 derngate a try and had a consultation with Alastair last week. As soon as I entered the room there was such a calm and relaxing atmosphere it defiantly didn’t feel like I was at the dentist. Alastair was so gentle and so reassuring, I couldn’t recommend him enough. Can’t wait to be back in the chair for some whitening and bonding 🦷😬 Update: Just had another visit to the dentist, this time with poppy for a clean. Again I was nervous going in but left with the biggest smile. She was so gentle and the amount of depth she went into about cleaning and looking after your teeth was so helpful. The best thing about these guys is the time they take to make you feel comfortable so that you feel relaxed and not rushed.

An incredible practice with nurses and Dentists who really take the time to explain what needs to be done on a very professional level. They gave me such confidence in the treatments. Right from when you walk in till you leave they make you feel you are the most important person in the building! I have been to many practices over the years but this far out ways them all! I saw Dr Basra for an appointment for a dental emergency and I can honestly say that I had the best experience and was extremely impressed by the level of care, attention and kindness i received during my appointment. I was initially very nervous but Dr Basra was so calm and reassuring and made the whole experience so easy and pain free! I've been to a few dentist's prior to this one but now that i have found this practice, i will never go anywhere else again. I can't recommend Dr Basra and the team enough. I had a consultation today with Dr McCullen to start some teeth and gum treatment. I am petrified of dentists and embarrassed about my teeth but Dr McCullen has given me the confidence to start my treatment and the hope that i can have nice teeth again. His manner and explanation of the procedure involved was very reassuring and i did not feel at all intimidated. All the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming with a tranquil atmosphere all around the building. This place is absolutely beautiful and immaculate i am so impressed. Fantastic results when told by Weston Favell Dentists teeth would fall out with receding gums. This place said no that’s utter rubbish and resolved the gum problem. Recommend and worth going in to see how bad some dentist really are !

By far the best service I've ever received at a dental practice. Dr Hanji did my oral surgery to remove a radicular cyst and tooth and every part of my journey from consultation through to surgery and aftercare has been brilliant. Now that I've been discharged back to my local dentist the team here have been extremely transparent with sharing information, the receptionists have always replied quickly to my requests via email and Dr Hanji has continued to answer my questions and provide reassurances where needed. I wish I lived more locally - 44 Derngate is exceptional.

I visited Alastair for general dentistry, whitening and finally composite bonding. I could not be more happy thus far with my smile journey. During every appointment Alastair made me feel totally at ease ( which is difficult to do considering i'm a very nervous patient). I had my composite bonding appointment this morning and i am so thrilled with the result. I am due back to have my bottom teeth completed in a few weeks time. For once i'm not dreading my appointment, the total opposite! My only advice would be to book the rest of the day off work following bonding, as you will spend the remainder of the day staring at your teeth in the mirror! Thank you so much Alastair :)

I was referred to 44 Derngate for dental treatment and my initial consultation was with Dr Resh Diu, whose manner was professional, friendly and informative through out. Treatment work was undertaken by Chandhan Hanji and again I was mightily impressed with the level of professionalism, his manner during the procedure and his ability to put me immediately at ease. I have never come away from a dental practice feeling so relaxed and enthused about the visit. Would highly recommend!!

What a great practise! I've seen both Alastair for my dental work and lip fillers and Poppy for a clean. Both are great. My children also see Alastair and he's the best with kids! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this practise to anyone. It's also been very tastefully decorated - looks like a fancy hotel inside!

All the staff and dentists are awesome in this clinic. Even with Covid 19, they have all the necessary precautions and checks in place, they even go as far as ringing you the day before your appointment to ask if you're all good, that you have no symptoms and they also ask you to fill in a patient form to double triple check. Once you get to the clinic they take your temp, make you sanitise and have socially distanced waiting rooms. Service and treatment has always been second to none and I've had a lot of treatment from this clinic and would highly recommend, fantastic service from the hygienists, to the invisalign specialist, the fixed brace specialist to the receptionist and nurses. Really awesome clinic.

Top notch practice. I went for a free no-obligation consultation and didn't feel pressured at all. I have not seen a clinic before which looks so beautifully decorated; it's warm, inviting and spacious. Conveniently for me it's open until late on Thursdays. Staff are super friendly and the price of treatment is surprisingly very reasonable. Looking forward to having my teeth straightened!

I heard about this practice opening on the radio and went for a free consultation. I had not seen a dentist for 3 years after a bad experience with the NHS. I was treated with the utmost care and respect even though i knew my teeth needed quite a bit of attention. I absolutely love that there is a desk to sit and discuss things with the dentist within the treatment room which is far better than trying to have a discussion whilst in the treatment chair. The Dentist was really thorough, explained everything clearly, the equipment seems superior and there is often relaxing music playing. The building is beautifully decorated and all staff are lovely. There is no parking though so if you can find a space on the street then you pay £1 for 1 hr or £2 for 2 hr. Allow at least an hour for a consultation. I think the nearest car park would be st John's which is free for first 2 hrs but a short walk away. There are numerous options for payment. I was provided with a full quote for the work required with transparent pricing. If not using finance you pay 50% of the cost when you book for treatment and the rest straight after the treatment. If you have ever had a bad experience with a dentist book a consultation here. You will not regret it.

Just finished a course of extractions, periodontal work and cosmetic fillings with lovely Ravi. I was extremely nervous about the treatment, but I needn't have worried in the slightest. Everything was explained fully to me, step by step, and I felt as though the whole procedure was conducted entirely at my own pace and with total concern for my wellbeing. Honestly, everybody I've come into contact with here has been helpful and charming, from Resh who very patiently led me through two thorough consultations (yes, 2, I am that demanding 😂) to the lovely ladies on reception and the dental nurses (especially sweet Ella). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this amazing dental centre.

This was my first visit to see Dr Dui,i'm not a fan of dental work but was a necessary evil,having previously had a bad experience elsewhere I was recommended Dr.Dui by a colleague of mine. I think that the dentist could sense my nervousness but I was made to feel at ease from the offset. Yes yes yes, they are brilliant. If you've used NHS all your life like me, this is a significant improvement. Obviously it costs, but good work should. I had my Invisalign treatment at The Private Dental Centre and I’m incredibly happy with the end result. They have the latest dental equipment and in my case they used a digital scanner to take a record of my teeth for the Invisalign appliance. 100% reccommend this practice- all staff and surgeons are friendly, welcoming and professional- not to mention the amazing decor!

Wow .I haven't been dentist God knows how many years as had a bad experience. So I found 44 derngate on website. Well 3 weeks ago I had most of my teeth out by sedation and 2 weeks later got new set of dentures.the people who work for the practice are absolutely marvellous polite and put my nerves at ease.i would like to thank Dr chandan handji for he reassurance when I was having the sedation .I would refer anyone who don't like dentist to go to this practice .It's pain free and will definitely be going back.the confidence this practice have given me is unbelievable.
