Should you be needing advanced dental work this is the place to come. Treatment is outstanding, care and understanding factored in as the norm. I can't praise Hamid's dental expertise and his work highly enough, you know you are in safe hands and the results are spectacular. Everyone at the practice is helpful, kind and professional, from the dental nurses and hygienist who take good care of you and your teeth, to the reception staff who go out of their way to arrange convenient appointment times and check your medical history. Five stars is an understatement!

I am beyond impressed with my results! I had a really difficult time mentally and emotionally processing the idea that at 35 I would lose one of my teeth- especially after having previous dental work to ensure this- braces/ wisdom teeth extraction. Hamed was very understanding and patient with me whilst I was nervous and unsure of what to expect- his confident and very matter of fact explanations were reassuring. Although, in my opinion, no dental treatment is ‘pleasant’, the team did everything they could to make me feel comfortable, and were always happy to make adjustments and ask any questions I had. I was referred to Norfolk Dental Specialists by my own dentist in Suffolk to have a tooth extracted as there was a small possibility of problems with my jaw following illness and intravenous medication last year. I saw Hamed Karimi for treatment who listened to my medical history and put me totally at ease and fully explained what he was going to do. He removed my tooth and cleaned the socket with absolutely no pain whatsoever. He also took time to thoroughly explain my post treatment care. Once the anesthesia wore off, I had virtually no pain at all and my mouth has healed very well. I would not hesitate to use Hamed Karimi or Norfolk Dental Specialists again should the need arise.

My hygienist in particular, Kim is a very friendly and lovely person who also makes me feel calm and cared for! Pre covid I was allowed to hold the nemo toy! Which was very thoughtful and completely appreciated by me!! Unfortunately Nemo had to go but Kim makes me feel calm without him. If anyone wants reassurance about having dental implants, I would say look no further than NDS. It is a bit of a taboo subject to talk about replacing missing teeth, especially as we get older. Personally, I did not take to dentures very well and wanted to have the self confidence of a natural smile and being able to eat properly again. A friend recommended NDS to me and from the beginning I was reassured by Hamed and the team. Everything was thoroughly explained to me and throughout the procedures I was always consulted. Especially, many thanks to João Afonso who was responsible for my treatment and my hygienist, Kim Souter. My relationship with the Norfolk Dental Specialists started a year ago when I visited them for long term problems I had with my teeth (e.g. fractures, tooth surface loss, etc.). Such problems have been taken the joy of my life and I decided to address the problem with a comprehensive treatment. As a 1040's child and losing a front tooth at 14 years I have been forever conscious of the loss to say nothing of the discomfort of a denture. Over time a second was removed leaving me embarrassed. I have since had bridges and many other options, all not to my satisfaction. Implants were something I have thought about for years and finally decided to proceed with NDS with some trepidation. However, the professional and friendly team made me feel very much at ease and over the 3 months I finally have my two front teeth for Christmas! Amazing success. I will never forget how quickly it became clear how poorly I was cleaning my teeth when at my first appointment I was told I had 60%+ plaque. The hygienist explained to me how I should be cleaning my teeth and from that point onwards I have never looked back. It is time consuming but well worth the time and effort. At my last appointment with Linda Palmer I had 4% plaque. Every member of staff is welcoming and professional. They have time for you and respond to any concerns you might have. I started my implant treatment in November 2017 and the procedure was completed by April 2018. I had two implants with a third tooth attached. It is now 3 months since the work was completed and the difference that this has made to my life is just fantastic. This dental practice is second to none. The building is immaculate, the staff are friendly and professional and they obviously enjoy their job. I had my implants to replace dentures and have wanted to do this for years. I have always been embarrassed about having dentures and have been quite secretive about having them. I really hated wearing them even though they were quite comfortable. So - having finished my treatment on 26th March I could not quite believe the feeling I had not to have dentures anymore. The implants actually feel and look like my own teeth (but better) and I do plan to have more. To be honest, some parts of the process itself were not easy but no more than would be expected where surgery is involved and the results make it absolutely worth it! As a nervous patient, I'm always very anxious about going to the Dentist, however during my first Hygiene appointment Kim and Jeanette could not have made me feel more at ease. I have had a lot of restorations in the past and assumed my teeth were a bit of a lost cause, but Kim taught me so much about how to thoroughly clean my teeth and the benefits of doing so. Jeanette created a chart showing which tepe brushes I should use a according to the gap size between each tooth which I have found extremely helpful in my new cleaning regime. I couldn't recommend Kim enough; I feel much more confident about my teeth and now have the knowledge and tools to care for them properly.

Even though none of it was what one would call 'pleasant' and I'm a nervous patient at best, everyone at NDS has always treated me with the utmost care and respected my anxiety, never making me feel silly and always going the the extra mile to ensure I'm as comfortable as possible during all procedures. I've come a long way and am now at the point where things are largely stable; I can absolutely tell the difference when I see my hygienist as there's hardly any sensitivity at all! My graft has settled well and is stable, so I will hopefully be avoiding any tooth loss for as long as is possible. I also really appreciate the email and text message reminders that I get about my appointments, as although I keep a fairly accurate diary it is still very helpful to be reminded. Overall my experience with NDS has been absolutely excellent and I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs specialist dental treatment.

I was recommended to go to NDS after years of being on the NHS. My condition was so rare as I was missing 10 second teeth in total (14 including my wisdom) the NHS were unsure as to the best route and unable to give any kind of statistics for me to make a decision. After my first consultation with Hamed he gave me all the confidence and facts I needed to make the best long term decision, even though he confirmed it was a rare case but one he was eager to take on- which just shows his amazing expertise. Where I didn't have any second teeth, certain parts of my jaw were missing crucial bone, meaning I would have to have a bone graph before any implants were inserted, I also had a sinus lift, orthodontic treatment to align teeth that had rotated and 6 milk teeth extracted. I was very confident in Hamed and his whole team, even though it was going to be expensive and I'd have to endure invasive procedures the best option would be implants especially as I am a 'spring chicken' 🐥 it was important that this would be a long term fix. I have never received care like I have here, it doesn't stop when you leave the chair either, I had calls after the procedures to check on my welfare. Having been through all the treatment I now have a smile to be proud of, I couldn't praise NDS enough. I have had work done on my molar by both my own dentist and a specialist endodontist. I was referred to this practice to see a prosthodontist to discuss the best options for this tooth as a crown is not possible. I was seen by Kevin Esplin.
