6 years at Orford Hill Dental Surgery with Colin Moolman as my NHS Dentist. Can't praise the service highly enough. Courteous, sensitive and efficient from all the staff. Feel very lucky since NHS places are almost impossible to come by now.

My wife encouraged me to move to this surgery a few years ago and I do not regret it. Colin is a first rate dentist and I should know as I have terrible teeth and have had several different dentists in my time. He has a very calm disposition and is softly spoken. This surgery is conveniently close to car parks and the bus station in central Norwich and I have never waited more than a couple of minutes. At my previous large surgery I regularly waited up to 45”. Small is beautiful and I thoroughly recommend this one if you are lucky enough to get on their books!

The practice is located very conveniently in the city centre. Good availability of appointments, friendly receptionists and a very good dentist (with a nice approach towards children too). It never seems insanely busy here and I never feel being rushed in as I was at the previous practice where I was registered before.

I’m a little upset with my experience today. I have to drop my children off at school which isn’t too far away from the city but unfortunately there was a lot of traffic which cannot be helped so I rang to apologised and explained there was a lot of traffic. I ran from the car park and got there 6 minutes later than my appointment, 6 minutes!! The dentist told me off Infront of the dental nurse telling me how bad I was. Being stuck in traffic is something that cannot be avoided. I replied to remind him that there has been many occasions I’ve sat in the waiting area for up to half hour in the past. I’m a hairdresser so therefore I have an appointment system in my profession too. If I were to have a customer that was running late I wouldn’t dream of talking to them like that, especially if they were about to pay me almost £250 for a service. I’ve always been happy with this dentist and have been going for years, but today was the first time I was late (6 minutes) and I’m very upset for the way I was spoken to.
