Riverside Dental are amazing. I had to have fairly drastic intervention which I was dreading. Throughout the visits the team have been kind and very professional, explaining my options etc. My last visit was fairly traumatic but the kindness and compassion shown by Carlos and Jenny made it so much easier. They were brilliant, both during surgery, making sure I was pain free and comfortable and after surgery making sure I was feeling fit enough to leave etc. I also had a phone call the day after surgery to make sure I was ok. My last dentist was nothing like Riverside. Can't rate them highly enough.

My first visit to Riverside Dental was in April this year for a check up and, like most if not all of the reviews on here, was nothing short of exceptional. Everyone was so welcoming and I was immediately put at ease by the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. I hadn't been to a dentist for over 2 years due to the pandemic and was sadly no longer registered at my previous NHS dentist. After much searching online I decided to book a hygienist appointment before my wedding and I am so glad I did. Eimear was incredibly welcoming and friendly, she put me at ease straight away. I have previously only ever had a quick scale and polish at the end of a check up- this was in a whole other league. My friends and family all commented on how bright and clean my teeth looked. Yes, it is a bit more pricey than NHS but worth every penny in my opinion.

I’ve had disliked my wonky, multi shaped and shaded front teeth since my teens and at 59 decided to rectify things. Naj went though the options with me and we agreed on crown replacements and composite bonding. Last week I completed my treatment just 2 days before my sons wedding and I could not be happier with the results. Lucy (and her friendly reception team) capably managed an emergency appointment last week, after severe toothache; the appointment was fit in for the next working day. Bim without fuss or haste performed an x-ray, prescribed antibiotics (handed them to me then and there). Carlos (capably assisted by Jenny) performed the procedure, with humour, kindness and total professionalism. (On other occasions, the hygenist, Amy, has been superb too - professional, detailed, thorough - as well as answering all my dumb questions!). In nearly 60 years, I have never been to such a good dental surgery.

I have been undergoing Invisalign treatment with Dr Bim Sawhney and his assistant Molly for the last year and a half. As well as wanting straighter teeth, I had a very crooked tooth in the centre of my bottom row of teeth which I struggled to keep clean. I had a very comfortable and informative first appointment and was given all of the details I needed to think the process over fully, including an idea of cost, timescale, and what the process will be like based on my individual needs. After a few consultations elsewhere, it was an easy choice to undergo the treatment with Dr Sawhney and I have had a wonderful experience the whole way through, even after having my crooked tooth removed as part of the treatment. Throughout the treatment, and my tooth removal, the staff at Riverside have been very friendly, supportive, informative and thoughtful and I know I can contact them at any time if needed. I never thought I would say going to the dentist is a pleasure! I made enquiries with another well known Norwich dentist for Invisalign. They did their sales pitch (for this expensive procedure) but said they couldn’t guarantee they would take me on as a patient going forward. I believe in loyalty on both sides of a relationship. So I contacted Riverside Dental. Even from the first telephone enquiry, I knew this practice was the best. All the team are warm, welcoming and professional. I was invited in to discuss what I would like, and it was without question that I would become a patient. Everything regarding Invisalign was explained and there was no hard sell, no pressure and they suggested what I needed and understood what I could afford. I have now started my Invisalign journey. I am currently in the preparation stage and I am due to get my first set of retainers shortly. Not only I am looking forward to my new perfect smile (and hopefully will lose weight in the process, as you must take them out to eat, so it should stop me snacking!) But most of all, I am rest assured I am in the hands of experts. From the receptionists, (Lucy and Team) to Hygienist (Amy), dental nurses (Molly and Jenny) and the lovely dental surgeon Dr Bim – this is the best dental practice in Norfolk. After living in London for a while, Riverside Dental puts any of those overpriced, snobbish practices down there, in the shade. Highly, highly recommend!

They have won customer service awards and you really can see why. They ask how you are and remember details about you which really adds a personal touch. Secondly, as well as regular dental checkups and hygiene appointments I have also had Invisalign treatment to straighten my teeth. Very happy with the results. Staff are very well trained and always do the right thing rather than a quick fix. People comment how good my teeth now look which is great. I honestly couldn’t fault them. I had a virtual consultation with Bim over Zoom which was really informative - he answered all of my questions really clearly. So my first experience was around 2 years ago having not seen a dentist for a very very long time due to bad experiences when i was young. To say i was terrified is an understatement!! Fast forward 2 years and I have just had my 3rd all clear 6 monthly check up and it feels so good. The monthly scheme is such great value and includes 2 check ups and 2 hygienist appointments a year and for me it works as I'm never tempted to skip going. Since joining I have gone from having a major fear and a very unhealthy mouth to no fear (well a little) and a healthy mouth :) Bim is the best dentist and the hygienist I see is great too. The staff and the environment just puts me at ease... Oh and they even have bottled water and herbal teas available in reception. Just Brilliant in every way!! Thanks Riverside Dental.

My teeth have caused me problems for years, mainly because of Gum Disease. I have been a patient at a few practices in the Norwich area but never felt totally happy - Until Now. From the moment I first walked into Riverside Dental I felt totally at ease. Every member of the team treats you like a friend. I had a massive pain in my gum and teeth in this period of lockdown where all private dental clinics are closed and the entire country has very few NHS clinics open up in a special arrangement during this time. I am registered in Riverside Dental Clinic less than a year but the attention and support I got during this period makes me a delighted patient, I got much more than I could ever imagine. Dr. Bim Sawhney and Gemma Spencer, Practice Manager checked in with me several times reassuring me and giving me the right advice and not comprising my health and pain at all. I usually got calls within an hour after leaving a voice message or dropping an email and including on a Sunday. I was referred right in the beginning because Dr. Sawhney was proactive and did not want to delay as he was aware my infection was serious. Though my first referral to NHS dental emergency was rejected he was still persistent and re referred me in another 4 days time until I was accepted. Even during the Easter weekend I was contacted few times to keep me posted on what is happening with my case of referral to NHS. I have been charged with a very minimal amount for the prescription and money matters weren't even discussed until I felt better after the teeth extraction. I feel very grateful to Dr. Sawhney and Gemma. I recommend that this is best experience I had in terms of dental care. It was both the endless support and the judgement of Dr. Bim Sawhney and Gemma Spencer I feel happy about. I have promised an appointment as soon as it opens after lockdown. Regards

I first went to riverside dental for a consultantion to have my teeth straighten, I had been to other practices in Norwich but wasn’t happy with what I was offered. I didn’t know what I wanted I just knew I didn’t want fixed braces (train tracks) I’d had these when I was young and never wore my retainer, my teeth moved. Dr Bim did my consultantion and said invisalign would be the best for what I was looking for. He also checked over my teeth and advised I needed a filling. I decided to go with the Invisalign and I also joined the denplan to have my 2 dentist appointments and 2 hygienist appointments each year in the practice, joining this also gave me discount on my overall cost of invisalign. The whole process has been stress free, the whole team have taken really good care of me and always taken the time to explain things and check in with after care and phone calls, the invisalign wasn’t painful and people didn’t notice I was wearing it, and I could not be happier with the results. I have just finished my whitening treatment, I now finally feel confident to smile with my teeth showing! I am so glad I made that first step and booked with Riverside Dental Practice! I had been put off going to the dentist from previous bad treatments at poor practices and decided after years of putting it off and years of being unhappy with my crooked teeth that I would brave booking my first appointment. The dental team are so polite and friendly and made me feel perfectly at ease throughout my Invisalign treatment. Bim is a wonderful dentist and I no longer have that sense of dread when visiting the dentist, mainly because he has done such a brilliant job with correcting my teeth! I am beyond happy with the results of Invisalign, they have literally changed my smile completely I cannot thank them enough! I was quite worried about how painful it would be throughout the treatment and how long it would take but overall, my treatment only took 10 months and I only felt a slight discomfort wearing each new aligner for a day or two then when my teeth had moved and settled there was no pain whatsoever. Even though I really wanted this treatment done, I was quite worried about how it would affect my day to day life with having to remove them whilst eating in public. I became a dab hand at removing the aligners quickly and discreetly and it no longer really bothered me and certainly didn’t stop me eating out with friends! In the beginning, the aligners took about two weeks to fully get used to, after that, they were so comfortable it actually felt strange when I took them out to eat. They were easy and quick to clean and pretty much invisible, hardly anyone noticed I was wearing them unless I told them. This was one of the main reasons I chose Invisalign over a traditional brace, the fact they were so discreet was a bonus as I already felt so self-conscious of my smile I didn’t want to draw any further attention to my teeth with big clumpy metal braces! The other reason I decided Invisalign was the way forward was because not only were they invisible but the process was so much quicker than any other brace treatment available. If I had opted for the traditional metal brace it would have taken about 2 years to correct my teeth. However, my treatment only lasted 10 months! Just in time to show off my amazing new smile at my best friend’s wedding this summer! Thank you so much Bim and Riverside Dental Practice for improving the health and appearance of my teeth! I highly recommend cosmetic treatment at this dentist to anyone! My mum was so impressed with the results too that she is now halfway through the Invisalign treatment herself!

My treatment began with a rather large filling which was painless and completed to such a high standard that I can't even see which tooth has been filled. Being my first root canal, I did not know what to expect, and speaking to others that have had the treatment (At different practices) only left me thinking I would be in agony from start to finish. From having a bad experience a while back at my previous dental surgery, nearly put me off the dentist for good. Returning from holiday, i was experiencing a lot of pain in my upper jaw. I didn't want to return to my previous dentist, so i searched for a different practise. Coming across Riverside dental on google, i booked myself an appointment as soon as i could. Arriving at the practise, i knew straight away i was in good hands, despite being terrified and in a lot of pain. I was examined thoroughly and everything was explained to me from start to finish. I hadn't had this before. I left the practise with a big smile on my face, knowing i had a solution for my dental pain in was experiencing. Returning a few weeks later, i had my root canal treatment under IV sedation and it was the best experience at the dentist i have ever had. Didn't feel a thing and didn't even realise what they were doing. Before i knew it, I was told the treatment was finished and i was taken home to rest. I could have this treatment done time and time again. I was very impressed. As im writing this review, im not feeling any pain what so ever from my treatment, telling me the treatment was a success. My next appointment is already booked and for once im exited to go. I would definitely recommend Riverside dental to my friends and family any day of the week. Comfortable waiting room and warm, friendly staff to great you.

I had a wisdom tooth taken out last week and I would like to say thank you to Jenna who was an excellent nurse and really looked after me when I was feeling nervous. I liked the fact she kept talking to me during the extraction which took my mind off the extraction itself. Dr Khosavi took the tooth out and was very patient with me and made every effort to make the experience as pain free as possible. He was also very kind to see me a few days later to check that the wound was healing properly as I had experienced some discomfort. I visited Dr Bim Sawhney two weeks ago as an emergency patient and then returned today for a full new patient examination. I am so pleased I chose this dental practice as I have never felt so relaxed whilst in a dentist's chair. Bim and his fantastic team really do know how to make their patients feel welcome and they do it effortlessly. You can see they really do care about you and want you to receive the treatment you need and without the usual stresses associated with the dentist. Bim explains the issues he finds and shows you on your X-ray. He then offers a variety of solutions, helps you choose the best one for you and hey presto your appointments are booked and the treatment plan printed out for you. I feel so confident in returning for my next appointment and for the first time I can actually say I will not be frightened of the dentist's chair. Thank you Bim, Claire, Abby and Hannah.

I am entitled to NH dentist but after trying a few different dentists it seem some liked doing treatment I did not require and feeling certain of that I joined riverside . I was always nervous after years of dentist trips with a brace and I decided to take up a offer at Riverside and give up on the NHS service . Best move I ever made and now I am seen regular at riverside and have no issues what so ever as am confident with the treatment I receive , so much I visit more regular for double the amount of hygienist visits and don't dred sitting in their chair . Had seen a dentist at another practice during the previous week and needed help on a Sunday as I was in some pain. Found Riverside who offered to see me at 6.30 pm. I was amazed at the state of the art surgery - I had an xray taken and was shown the problem on a screen whilst I was in the chair - my situation was explained clearly in a patient and reassuring manner - I now need "root canal" treatment which is pending. After breaking a tooth and not having a dentist in my new hometown, I searched the internet reviewing every available dentist. After childhood fears, my choice of dentist has become a major issue as I need to feel at ease. As it turned out the team are so friendly and I was immediately comfortable. I have a new crown and although I never look forward to checkups, I now know in 6 months I'll be back and my teeth will be looked after.
