I was referred here to have my wisdom tooth removed..I can honestly say it was the best experience of a dentist I have ever had! My dentist was lovely and welcoming and explained in detail everything that was happening and put me at ease! I felt no pain throughout the whole process which was unexpected by me! The dental nurse was absolutely wonderful to! Highly recommended 👌

She is a delightful, friendly person, very competent and professional, and makes me feel as relaxed as possible. I had a bad experience at a previous dentist which made me petrified of dentists since being young. i moved here and they are absolutely brilliant. i’ve seen Ajay and Jayani and they were both brilliant. i’m a very nervous and anxious patient and they were so good with me, very patient calm and understanding. i would highly recommend this dental practice and would never go anywhere else now. all the staff are friendly and welcoming and make you feel at ease :)

Delighted with the first class treatment from Jayani Perera sorting out my aged teeth . She explains the treatment options clearly and well. Recently she has improved the look of my teeth with a new crown and composite bonding on 3 other front teeth . Never thought the improvement possible! Even my wife hardly recognised me ! All the dental assistants and reception staff are very helpful and friendly . Must also mention Bethany Wood the hygienist who is also very professional . Now a regular customer . I would highly recommend this dentist very friendly and professional. I was referred to this practice as my dentist was unable to do the procedure I needed. I am a very nervous patient but was made to feel calm and relaxed. My thanks to Amit Tiwari who carried out my oral surgery and dental nurse Gosia who both made my experience as painless and comfortable as possible. I was referred here after a botch molar extraction by my own dentist. A very traumatic 45 mins of drilling pulling trying to get it out. I was so anxious about my next appointment with the carlton dentists but I have to say there was no need what so ever. The receptionists are very polite a professional and the dental nurse was amazing talked me through every step even after care. I tend to pass out with anything medical and they were really professional in their care. 20 minutes in total and the tooth was out. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone. I have been on a bit of a 'teeth journey' over the last two years - not happy with how my teeth looked I decided to do something about it and in consultation with my dentist, Jayani Perera, I started with Invisalign. Following this and to rectify a failing crown I opted for a dental implant provided by Riten Patel and finally some tooth bonding which Jayani did for me today. Whilst its taken a while and patience has been required (still a little more to go) the results are better than I could have imagined. The treatment and care I have received has been fantastic. I have been a Patient at CDC for many years and have always found all the staff friendly, professional and helpful - I can highly recommend !

Absolutely cannot praise the work of Dr Jayani Perera enough for the recent work she has undertaken on my teeth. She has transformed my smile 0/10 to 10/10 with her diligence and cosmetic dentistry skills. Whilst the NHS options are absolutely fine and unarguably provide a basic service, I decided to go private with Jayani on the very reasonably priced Denplan scheme, to help ensure that I received a far wider choice of shading and colour when it came to both the filling material and the crown I had fitted. I have realised that, after many years of hiding my teeth away and being rather embarrassed by them because I let my dental hygiene slip when I was younger, you just cannot put a price on getting your smile restored professionally by someone who has the knowledge and skills like Jayani has. Thank you Jayani!

My previous dentist were not treating NHS patients before Covid then we went into lockdown it was difficult to get in any dentist . So just had to cross my fingers I wouldn’t need any treatment well I did and I was in pain tried phoning countless dentists to be told they were booked up or not taking nhs but I manage to get through to a lovely helpful lady on reception who made me an appointment the next day to have treatment. I was seen by Gemma who was very understanding and patient. They were very busy but got seen to without delay . Thankyou for your help .

Amazing practice.. I had a really bad dental phobia from a bad experience when i was very young. Since moving to here I've completely got over my dentist fear, they are so understanding and reassuring. I see Gemma Hanks for regular check ups and I can't praise her enough, she has not just been brilliant with me but she's fabulous with my daughter too. I have seen Graham for a tooth extraction with sedation and he was brilliant very reassuring and caring. Today I saw Jayani for the first time, I can't begin to explain how lovely she is! Very reassuring, explains everything in detail and extremely thorough. She's absolutely brilliant. I can't thankyou enough. You have such a great team!

Like many people across the country, I have an irrational fear of going to the dentist. Whether it's the thought of being at the mercy of someone rummaging through my mouth, or the fear of something amiss being discovered and having to endure an uncomfortable procedure, it has meant that I haven't visited a dentist for a few years. During the pandemic, I figured it was time to finally bite the bullet and try a new practice. The last time I had been to the dentist was 6 years prior at a different practice for a filling, and it was more like being serviced by a car mechanic than a dentist. He was in and out, like someone trying to fit an exhaust pipe on a time limit, which left me with a sore jaw for about a week. A friend of mine recommended Carlton, saying that they were very thorough without being too cowboy-ish about it. When I called to make my first appointment, I raised the concern that I hadn't been for a check up in a while and I was assured almost immediately. Upon arriving, I was greeted by my nurse, Kirstie who in an instant made me feel safe and comfortable. Something about her positive attitude and how she spoke to me as a patient dampened the tension I felt. Even though she was wearing a mask, I could tell she had a very sympathetic smile to how I was feeling so I knew whatever was in store for me in the dentist's chair, I would be taken care of with the best quality of care. The dentist, Izzy, did my check-up and subsequent scrape and polish and never have my teeth felt so looked after. I've made an appointment for a few months time and I can honestly say, any fear I've had of the dentists has completely washed away and it's all thanks to those guys! Great experience here. Had all 4 wisdom teeth out in one appointment, done in about 25 minutes. Very reasonable price (private treatment). When I had some pain they stopped, gave me more anesthetic, and then everything went super smoothly. When I got anxious they talked me through it and helped keep me calm.

Following the original review they decided to provide a refund thus, I decided to amend the review accordingly. The receptionist were really polite, respectful, and kind for which the centre gets 1 STAR. The treatment coordinator was professional throughout the telephone/Email conversations that we had in relation to the treatment and refund so for that I dedicated 1 STAR. They provided a refund which got them another STAR. I am still disapointed and I was expecting a better and more professional service from the Dentist.

Jayani and Kirsty are both amazing at this practice. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my dental care now. Jayani takes great care with her craft and I've always been delighted with the results. Kirsty is always friendly and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Whenever I've needed a dentist they have been there for me. I am delighted to write a review for Carlton Dental Care which was recommended to me by a friend. I have just completed Invisalign treatment which took only 16 weeks. My smile is much improved and I am so happy with the results. My Dentist was Jayani Perera who I cannot recommend highly enough. She spent time talking me through the Invisalign process and managed my expectations. She is extremely knowledgeable and very thorough. Her enthusiasm is infectious and she is a delight to be around. I received great attention by her dental nurse and was also allocated a treatment coordinator who was at the end of the phone or email if I had any questions between appointments. The cost of Invisalign is quite high but Carlton Dental Care's prices were less than dentists in the surrounding area, but this did not detract from the care and attention I received. Invisalign is not easy, but better than fixed braces in my opinion, having experienced both. If you commit to the process you will see get great results.

I had a root filling with my normal dentist that was causing me pain for ages. A couple of other dentists had a go at the tooth, but it just kept hurting. One visit to Mike Twamley for his expert opinion and I’m finally pain free. I wish I’d seen him first as it didn’t even hurt when he injected me. I’d have saved a lot of time and money just getting it done by the pro in the first place. Mike has put me completely at ease and I’ve been in stitches with his great stories - what a smashing guy.
