Attended on Sunday with my daughter. We were assessed by a nurse practitioner (Amy) who was very knowledgeable and professional. Had an X-ray on site and waited in the car for the report. Great advice, we were only there approximately 2 hours, and no doctor needed- a great example of how far non- medical roles have come and staff skills are used appropriately

On the whole, this place has been good to me. IF I can get there. It's not on a bus route, I don't drive & taxi is 20 quid for a round trip, which I don't have today. Sitting outside on the kerb in the blazing sun last year, because of social distancing was awful (I read in another review there is now a tent and presumably chairs) But why is there no bus service to get there!? 4 stars for staff, no stars for location.

The waiting time was slightly longer than I was told when I checked in but all of the staff I had dealings with whilst there were superb, extremely helpful and professional. I even got advice for a treatment for my cracked heels while Clare examined my suspected broken ankle - if it works I'll be thrilled as it's an ongoing lifetime battle.

Great. Called and explained the issue I was having with my rotator cuff and the lady on the phone got me in at 2pm on Sunday (I called at 12pm). Was seen and given an X Ray within ten minutes. Great service

Had such a positive experience here yesterday after being referred by 111. Man at the door and woman at reception were both really nice and welcoming. Due to the woman on 111 not being able to get me an appointment, I went as a walk-in and was seen within 15 mins (probably all depends on the severity of your issue though). Was seen by a really friendly man who listened to everything I said and was overall extremely helpful!

Was seen today had a bout a 2 min wait and got called in by a Triage nurse who took my temperature and blood pressure. I was then told to wait in the car and they would ring me when the nurse was free. I waited about 5 mins and i got called back in again after i had sanitised my hands. Got a prescription and the whole thing took less then half a hour. This was 8am so i should think it would take longer at peak times.There was social distancing in the waiting room. A good service.

Visited after failing to get a GP appointment for days, the staff were professional and compassionate, really taking the time to listen. I was triaged almost straight away and then it was busy so I had to wait quite a long time to be seen but they were transparent and accurate about the expected waiting time (2hrs) so I didn't mind. Was also really impressed with the cleanliness and social distancing measures in place with regards to COVID_19. I get really nervous around doctors and in clinical settings but the friendliness of the staff put me at ease.

Tonight I had to visit the walk in centre, on the door was a male Nurse. I just want to thank him for his brilliant advice for my daughter. He was very kind and helpful unfortunately I didn't get his name but he was fab, I can't thankyou enough!

Am really surprised with some of the negative feedback here...at least one should be grateful for the fact that they are willing to help us in case of an urgent care is needed! I came in, the receptionist was very nice, took my details and offer a sit. Not even 10 minutes, a consultant called for me for the first consultation...and you could tell the man was genuine while asking me questions regarding my shoulder pain. I feel really good. Now sitting waiting for the second consultation. Not bad at all. No matter the downsides of the NHS in general, at least they can help in other ways! Thanks.

Amazing Service! Very friendly and helpful. Arrived at 7am, was seen to within 10 minutes of booking in and out within 30 mins from when I arrived. The nurse who removed my stitches was so lovely and a credit to the team. Cannot thank them enough for the service I received. Keep up the good work! 😁

This was my first experience of the walk in centre and I was very impressed. The staff were extremely friendly, polite and efficient. Didn't have a long wait as it was 7.15am during the schools summer holidays so I was seen quickly. As I walked out the receptionist and triage nurse waved to me and called cheerio. A credit to the NHS!

My experience is very positive. I injured my foot and the staff was excellent since I got out of the car. The receptionist was extremely kind in picking up a weelling chair, triage and consultation nurse were very friendly, as well as the CTScan colleague. Did not wait too long, you could see people care. Thank you all.

Outstanding, polite and friendly administrator. I was triaged and assessed very quickly In a clean and tidy unit. I was seen by Mrs Sands, she was polite, efficient , explained my care and supplied me with the needed prescription out of normal working hours. This saved me from having to take time off work and ultimately made me leave a happy and satisfied patient. Thank you.

I went to the walk in centre today with awful toothache. My dentist couldn't fit me in and i was desperate. The staff were so empathetic and kind. I was dealt with quickly and efficiently. If you get there early enough (7am) you should be dealt with the same day. I can't praise the service enough. Thanks so much.

When it takes 3 weeks to get to see you own GP this place is a godsend bit of a wait to see a doctor but hey ho first come first serve. The staff are kind polite and understanding, went in thinking I had an infection in my face turns out its shingles at least I am now on meds to get rid thanks to Rachel and the staff.

I took my daughter to our family dentist this morning (Thursday 11 August 2016) to get emergency treatment for a verysevere tooth ache that had been causing her great pain for 48 hours. Our dentist was unable to do anything for her. I then took her to the urgent care centre, where she was quickly assessed by a triage nurse and given an appointment to return to see a dentist in the afternoon. An x ray was taken and showed a large infection underneath a molar. The dentist, whose name I didn't get, explained the options for treatment, removed the tooth and resolved the issue quickly. She was excellent, explained everything very clearly, was so very kind to my daughter and I could not fault her. The dental nurse, Lindsey was also amazing, reassuring my daughter who was nervous and making the whole process very positive. I would like to also mention that the reception staff were very professional, calm and pleasant. Thank you to you all.

Thank you. I spent a few hours with you as a walking wounded. I commend your patience in putting up with your patients. After 2 hours sat between the person who insisted on watching videos on their phone at full volume and a second person constantly messaging on their phone with the audible "tap" at the max, I was greatful to leave and felt more than a little sorry for the good emplyees having to stay. It was a 2 hour wait but we were 'traiged' almost immediately and when we were both seen by Dr Karen, we were given time, an first-class examination and diagnosis, and sent home with pills and reassurance. First class treatment and courtesy, very much appreciated now that we have recovered.

UPDATE: In and out within the hour and very happy with the service. Added 2 stars for this. THIS PART OF THE REVIEW IS NOT ABOUT TREATMENT OR CARE. How can you have a Public Health Service that operates for a whole city, with 5 parking spaces. An absolute joke. Why do staff at Public Health England get allocated 95% of the spaces. It’s not like bus and trams are wanting in Nottingham. I had a poorly daughter who was hanging around for 30 minutes whilst we tried to get parked up, then we had to walk across an overgrown field. That was after we had to travel for 20 minutes to get here in the first place. We would have been better off going to QMC. Something needs doing about the lack of parking at this place, it is beyond rediculous.

Excellent service! Triage was really quick. It turned out that my wife had broken one arm and her wrist on the other arm and even though we had quite a wait (3.5 hours), the care my wife received from all the staff and especially Hannah the nurse was second to none.

Receptionist was friendly and I was seen to quickly. I was also seen to pretty quickly to go the Triage Room. Finally I just had to wait to be seen by a doctor as in my opinion didn't take too long as there was quite a lot of people waiting and it was within the estimated time they told me, (an hour and a half to 2 hours) Once I was seen to everything was sorted quickly and I was on my way!

My wife and I visited the walk in centre for an emergency dentist consultation. We waited no more than 10 minutes and the staff were super helpful, friendly and professional. To top it off, the premises were really clean and inviting.

It's twice I have been to see the dentist, and both times I have had top mark treatment.. been today for a extraction and the 2 ladies tell me that the dentist treatment ends at the end of march 2020 due to government cutbacks.. it's another thing we have lost to the private sector ...
