Very happy with the work and service always been good to me. However I think the new rule of missing 1 appointment by not giving 24 hour notice a bit much. Some people have genuine on the day emergencies with themselves or children that can not be planned for and to lose their place because of it unfair in my opinion. I can see both sides and why you are doing it but you should take each case on its evidence and not just strike them off.

I have been afraid of dentist visits all my life since a traumatic childhood experience, after being with this practice for a few years now I can honestly say I no longer have any fear . The staff are friendly and professional and my dentist , Dr Anahita Hosseini is really good. She explains everything and is a calming influence, in my opinion this practice is great .

Yesterday, I attended the Tamworth Road Dental Practice for some quite complex Root Canal Treatment. It important for me to state that I am a nervous patient and can be quite anxious prior to, and during treatment. The treatment took around one hour and I can honestly say that it was pretty much pain free throughout. Dr Baharvand explained what was happening during the treatment and put me completely at ease. I have been a patient at this practice for circa 20 Years and have always have had good service from both the reception team, and my Dentist Dr Baharvand.

Honest opinions, explaining fully the options offered, as well as providing an all round excellent dental health service.My partner has recovered from gum disease, my teeth are looking healthier too. Friendly reception staff help ease any anxiety you may have, the building itself is clean, all Covid rules followed. The dentists are great, friendly and help put you at ease whilst any work is being done to your teeth. A few weeks ago I was in so much pain with a gum and tooth infection so I rang the dental practice and the lady on the other end was so helpful and she got a prescription for me and within day's I felt so much better. The lady then got me booked in and the dental physician and his assistant were very thorough and professional. I had a filling the other day and I hate needle's but I am really pleased with the outcome. Lovely, friendly staff ,all of them and a very safe environment considering the recent lockdown. Really needed a NHS dentist,after covid too, i called them and i got myself in but i made appt for my mum & dad at the same time we all needed to get into a dentist but i jotted dwn the times for 3 of us however I got time of my appointment mixed up,i rang thm to enquire when it is, but i had missed it. Like most people I'm not a big fan of visiting the dentist and having treatment, but Dr Emon could change your mind about that! What a refreshing change to have a dentist who is engaging and so good at calming you, of talking you through the what and the why and not making you feel like youve been naughty! My husband recently described Dr Emon as 10/10 which is unheard of, and I've got to say I agree. Recommend with absolutely no hesitation.

I visited the practice and was seen by Emon. I had a problem with one of my fillings and he had to fix it. Emon was very professional, he explained everything that he was doing to me, conducted an assessment of my teeth, x-ray of the tooth in question and fixed the filling. Due to current restrictions the practice is operating in the best capacity they can, and from somebody that has been spending a lot of time in hospitals and NHS call centers recently, this is as safe as you can get in my opinion the have gone above and beyond the needs to keep patients and staff safe. The staff are friendly and lovely, they make you feel welcome and are always there to make you feel relaxed and looked after. The practice has been more than amazing, and have always been helpful, never once have I missed an appointment, because they are outstanding at reminding keeping you up to date.

Needed emergency treatment for a lost filling and was given an appointment within a week. Very impressed by the covid security at the surgery. Seen on time by my regular dentist and given a full check, which revealed two further cavities, one filled and one for future extraction, as well as replacing the filling and smoothing down the jagged edge of the tooth. Also had teeth cleaned. All in all very impressed and pleased with my treatment.

So they are incredibly busy and are currently accepting NHS patients. Overall the practise is good however the dentist we were with was quite abrupt and his bedside manner lacking slightly. We started going to Tamworth Road Dental Practice last October and Dr Ziai Ramin was allocated as my dentist. Four weeks later on the 25th of November I rang them for an appointment as I had a lump on my tongue which had been there for about a week, I saw Dr Ramin who was very concerned and asked if I would attend QMC for a biopsy on my tongue. Of course I agreed. Through the efforts of Jo and Dr Ramin, pushing and pushing the QMC's Maxilo Facial Department that my case was urgent I had my biopsy on the 30th of December. On the 14th of January this year, my diagnosis was confirmed as a Squamous Cell Carcinoma or skin cancer on the right side of my tongue. On the 1st of March, I finally had surgery to remove the cancer and also the lymph nodes on the right side of my neck. I have since undergone 6 weeks of Radiotherapy at Nottingham City Hospital to ensure the cancer does not return. My consultant is pleased with my progress and they will be keeping an eye on my through regular check ups for the next 10 years. Without the efforts of Jo and Dr Ramin, I might not be here today - so a massive thank you to both of you and all your colleagues. I can certainly recommend Tamworth Road Dental Practice for their professionalism, care and compassion throughout my cancer journey.

I suffer with Dental Anxiety and have been known to be sedated for dental work. A previous root canal had come loose and due to Covid I was unable to be referred to the clinic for sedation, due to the patience and empathy of my dentist I was able to get through the procedure with nothing but support and some music as a distraction!
