This is a great dental practice. The staff are always friendly, polite & respectful. It has a calm & relaxed atmosphere. It's always clean, & the staff are considerate & professional. Also, as a person who was very fearful of dentists, I've always found this place to be "less scary" than others, & it has helped me to reduce my fear of dentists quite a bit.

I am terrified of dentists, but Tham put me completely at ease and was phenomenal. I have nothing bad to say about the practice, they fit me in at short notice for an emergency appointment, the reception staff were great - so friendly and welcoming. All in all an exemplary experience and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Had a dental appointment time of 09.30 was finally seen at 09.50, as dentist was running late. But receptionist did not say until a couple of minutes before being called. Check up was going well, until dental nurse went out of the room. So kept waiting while nurse came back to finish off dental check. I understand that there were staff issues, but ended up coming out of dentist at 10.35. For an appointment time of 15 mins. I felt sorry for staff as clearly struggling as at one point people where waiting to come into the dentist. It is a shame as it is a very good dentist, and normally well organised. But felt all staff were stressed to provide an important service.

I had my implant retained bridge fitted yesterday by Dr Oliver Brown and Chiara. I have never felt this good coming out of the dentist; Dr Brown and his nurse Chiara made me feel at complete ease. Everything was clearly explained to me from start to finish and Dr Brown carefully listened to me when I said I wanted smaller teeth on my bridge. I could not be happier! I have my smile back which I didn’t like for over 20 years. Would highly recommend. If you want good quality work, with an amazing chairside manner, you will not be disappointed!

Even as a Psychologist, I can't get over my fear of Dentists. I genuinely hate going to the dentist but I know how important it is for me and my family so I go, literally with gritted teeth. All that changed with my Damira visit. The dentist was understanding about my fear and worked with me to help with my dental hygiene. Not only that, she was also didn't "sugar coat" (excuse the pun) the facts but spoke about them in a way that I immediately understood and I didn't feel "told off" (even though dental hygiene IS my fault!). Dalmira is a joy to visit with my entire family (3 young children under 8 and my wife) and they are not traumatised in any way and...dare I say it, they are genuinely excited to go! Thank you!

Visit on 27th May for refit of implant. Oliver Brown was very reassuring & my treatment was pain free & all went well. Cassie was extremely helpful not only on the phone whilst I was in Servile & rang for advice but throughout my visit. Yahye was very kind & fetched me some water & gave me a glucose tablet when I began to feel a little shaky. They both checked I was ok before I left the practice. I've had a variety of treatments at Bury Knowle, from hygienists to root canals, extraction and implant, both NHS and private. Excellent experience: I always got full explanations before and during treatment, the dentist's we're very attentive to my responses (e.g.adding anesthetics when needed), and the result were (so far) very good. The non-NHS component was not cheap, but in line with the market. Highly recommended.

Good professional and lovely staff. Flexible timing, sometimes up to 7pm evening times which is suitable for day time employees. Private work fees are relatively within the least expensive range in Oxford, yet will see the quality of my next treatment then shall update my review. Be careful, you cant keep your car longer than 10 mins otherwise you will get fined, car park is only for GP patients. There is a nearby free parking space on the road facing the Burry Knowel Compound.

The dentist I see at this practice is lovely, always explains what and why she is doing everything. The only downside is waiting, I have never gotten into see the dentist at my appointment time, only a 20min wait this time.

I needed fairly extensive reconstructive dentist to correct damage caused by years of teeth grinding and corrosion. During the course of my treatment the dentist, Hisham Mahmoud, the various dental assistants and reception staff were alway friendly and accommodating working around my schedule of availability. I needed some urgent adjustments to be made today and was, once again, fitted in to an obviously very full and busy schedule! I have been given back my smile - at the expense, both in terms of time and money, of Hisham! Isra Mujahid was the Dentist who treated my mum. Both myself and my mum was extremely happy with how politely and professionally she communicated with us during our visit. I usually attend with my mum to her appointments due to there being a language barrier, but Isra ensured that my mum felt comfortable and at ease at all times which I really appreciated as we have not had positive visits in the past at the practice. For future appointments, I would definitely request for Isra and to anyone who gets nervous attending the dentist, I would recommend her as she is not only good at her job, but she will go above and beyond to deliver great customer care and satisfaction.

I have been receiving my dental care at this surgery for many years.The have always taken care of my dental issues with care and professionalism. They are attentive to detail of procedures and they have a clean operating environment. Noted their goodness when I compared them with another dental surgery I joined briefly when it was opened on my street (Damir is about1.5 miles away from home). I returned to them with a problem I picked at the new surgery.and they have been helping me greatly except at times of closure due to COVID 19

Good practice with reasonable customer service and nice staff. I have complete faith in their clinical practice. However, the booking system (online) not really working. Phone line also not working some times (tells you to book online then hangs up on you!) Very surprised that a visit to the hygienist now costs £60! Couldn't get a dentist's appointment as well (which apparently makes it cheaper). It seems like the only way to get appointments is in person or over the phone.

I saw Oliver Browne. Extremely happy with the dentistry and advice. Clear treatment plans and explanation of costs. Very patient and helpful, treatment gentle and pain free. Very happy with results of treatment. NHS treatment not available to cover some options, even though according to NHS site they should be, which means costs are high, which can be unexpected. This I'm sure applies to all dentists as I know that NHS dentistry is in a bad way. Have now completed treatment, including a gum graft which sounded frightening but was much better than I feared, not painful apart from a few hours immediately after surgery. So yes, very happy with the treatment, explanations, calm, reassuring dentist, and pleasant surgery and all staff.

Recently had a check up, x-ray, deep clean and whitening. My dentist was very friendly and I had a mix of NHS and private treatments. The Covid safety is very good. The only down sides are there is no parking on site as the car park is private and the last two times I've made appointments I have had repeated phone calls asking if I can come in earlier when I've specifically booked a time to fit around work. I've kept to my booked time but I did find the phone calls annoying, particularly one that was in the middle of my work day asking if I can come in about 15 minutes. Aside from this, a good service and friendly.

I have been to this Dental Clinic and was very much impressed with the way they have handled my case. I had to be referred to a specialist and they have done it very well without delaying. Daniel at the front desk was very helpful in getting a quick appointment though i went to the clinic 2 hrs ahead of time. Had a tooth re-fill today and another two teeth issues were identified for further treatment. Was called right at the appointment time without a single minute delay. My dentist - Pavlides C. and the nurse were terrific - ultrafast, gentle and effective. The dentist was able to find a solution using NHS and private schemes to bring the total cost of treatment down. I previous attended a few months ago as I had not been for a while. I can’t remmeber the name of the dentist but she was really lovely. Her nurse “Smile” really lived up to her name. They truly were a dynamic duo! They worked very well together to make me feel at ease. I had to come back for some fillings and it was absolutely fine - the only but is that they had changed the nurse unfortunately. The replacement nurse was not as warm and welcoming as the one I had prior which stunted me a bit upon arrival and during - but she was still gentle and nice. I’d recommend the dentist who’s name I’ve forgotten - she has long hair and is in the surgery on the corner - and id like to say thank you to BOTH nurses for assisting.

I highly recommend this dentist practice. Friday evening I was climbing the wall in severe pain along with a extremely swollen side of my mouth. Having had bad past experiences with dentists I am ashamed to say had prevented me from visiting a dentist for over 20 years! So I recognised my teeth were in an embarrassed and poor state. I didn't know where to turn my husband googled emergency NHS dentist and Damira Bury Knowle came up.....I phoned Saturday morning a spoke to a lovely gentleman who came to my rescue and told me not to worry and to come at 1:30 pm, I was so pleased I did. I saw a fantastic lady dentist Dr Nimeelitha Dilip and her dental nurse Innocent, they were brilliant, Nimeelitha didn't judge at all. I doubted I had the confidence to go back but I did because they were so good. Having finished a course of antibiotics I returned today for another appointment with Nimeelitha and dental nurse Jess, I was so very, very nervous but honestly had no reason to be they were superb, they made me feel at ease, were kind, gave me lots of reassurance with every step they took, taking time to show and explain things and went through options available and I have left there with my next appointment booked and a complete treatment plan set out, which by the end of it I will have a smile back - Thank you. Apologies for the long review but it deserves it. If you are scared, worried or looking for a new dentist then don't be give them a call now you won't regret it

My blessings didn't just end there either: In the hands of Dr Shumalia Miraj, & her assistant nurse Natalie, I received (in just over two days) the most caring & competent assessment & treatment I could ever have wished for. My grateful thanks go to them and all the diligent staff at this dental practice, for having redeemed my situation, & my dental health, in such a professional & caring way. The car park is a pain and usually full by 9am but this is not a big issue. My latest treatment was a root canal, for someone with arthritis which impacts my jaw this was not something I looked forward to but I was treated by Nimeelitha and Darrion and they were fantastic, across the 3 appointments they were very patient with me and it made the experience a lot easier so I really recommend these 2.

Went it to have 2 wisdom teeth removed on 5th July. Can't say I was looking forward to it but the dentist - Nimeelitha - and her assistant Daz - were fantastic. Friendly and smiley. Asked me if I wanted to be talked through what they were doing. Injections were genuinely only little scratches. When the second tooth was being stubborn and resisting extraction, I started to feel a bit feint/hot - so they stopped, got me water, a glucose tablet and a fan to cool me down - and then we carried on. Very pleased with the service I received - and the whole process was better than I feared. Reception staff friendly/helpful too. Very happy to recommend!

Best Practice to visit if you are scared of the dentist. Dr Nimeelitha and Nurse Darrion are excellent at putting you at your ease, being encouraging and talking you through what is happening so nothing comes as a shock which might otherwise let the panic set in. Very happy I found this dentist!
