If you're looking for a new dental practice then this is your place. I joined in April 2021 as a nervous patient who needed to work hard to improve gum health. I decided on Crownhill due to the reviews at the time and the competitive pricing. They have exceeded my expectations. Dr Ordi provides you with firm but fair advice and has a good sense of humour. Carly too is patient and calming with nervous patients. The work they have done as part of my care plan have put me back on track and I couldn't be happier. I have noticed a huge difference and no longer dread visiting. The dental assistants and admin team are also very professional and inviting. The practice appears to have received an extension and improved on its facilities in recent times, with the staff being leaders in their field. The wife has just joined on my encouragement too.

I have been a patient here for over twelve years and have had just about every procedure that's going to maintain a set of teeth that are still required to help a seventy one year old enjoy life's food delights. From engineered teeth to crowns to fillings and the comprehensive hygienic cleansing, I have experienced them all from the expert hands of Dr Ramin Ordi and his colleagues. I write this after a recent experience when a tooth decided to sheer off leaving me with a sizeable piece that I thought could be salvaged. At my request, Ramin was able to call me back and listen to my plight and offered an emergency appointment a few days later to reunite the broken piece. I should add that I no longer live in Plymouth, but with the care provided and preparedness to go that extra step, I travel 150 miles to take advantage of all that they offer. And they know my name!

Absolutely amazing dental practice! I changed over to this Dental Practice just four months ago, had my first consultation with Dr Ordi and asked if he could replace my old crowns and give me a nice smile line - I really really disliked having to smile. He said he could and it would change my quality of life. I have been visiting Crownhill dental practice for several years, I can not fault the care of the staff. I am an extremely nervous patient, DR Ordi always puts me as ease, explaining throughly any dental treatment needed. Dr Ordi has taken the time to get get to know me personally, therefore he knows ways of distracting and calming me through checks up and dental produces. DR Ordi has an incredibly calm manner and is very efficient, meaning I know, I will not be sat in chair any longer than needed. DR Ordi was absolutely fantastic with my son when he need some emergency dental work, after knocking a tooth partially out, he saw him within an hour of the incident. The receptionist is extremely friendly and warming, knowing I am nervous, she calming me the moment I walk through the door. She is incredibly knowledgable at giving after care advice and recommending products that will help with my dental needs. She gave me superb advice and tips to get my very reluctant son to brush his teeth properly. I would highly recommend as dentist.

I have been coming to this practice for over 20 years. Never have I met such a friendly dentist as Dr Ordi, even when he's dishing out the insults as he likes to have banter with patients! Nothing is too much trouble and he always makes time to talk to the patient to make them feel at ease. All the staff are welcoming and friendly. Dr. Ordi is a consummate professional I underwent a years worth of treatment ( 4 Titanium Implants) supporting an 8 unit bridge / denture. After losing my front teeth at the ripe old age of 8 yrs old and consequently a lifetime of problems ( now 53) Dr Ordi is by far the best dentist I have ever seen, and unfortunately have seen a few over the years! Brilliant! and I'm not the only one with that view. If you look below you will see it is only 4.9 not 5.0 overall because someone who was actually very satisfied scored 4.0. As well as a very professional crown replacement Dr Ordi has filled a large gap from extractions left by my previous dentist, with two implants. I can honestly say the whole process was completely pain free and everything worked first time. This contrasts with the experience of a number of friends with other Dentists where there were complications. If you want implants this is the dentist to come to.

I was treated at Crownhill Dental Practice and met Dr.Ordi there, he was relaxed and calm which had impact on me as well. I am Robert's wife Linda, and have to explain why I have rated this dental practice with 5 stars. I was probably one of the most nervous patients that have ever crossed their threshold. On one visit to the hygenist I nearly fainted, and had to have a cup of tea and a sit down until I felt fit to leave the practice. I have had gum disease, which compromised even healthy teeth. Now, with their patience and kindness and healthy gums, I can honestly say I look forward to dental and hygenist appointments in the future. In September I had 3 implants fitted that have transformed my appearance,and grown my confidence. I hope this review helps anyone with a fear of dentists. After many years of increasingly poor levels of treatment at my NHS dentist, leading to a hospital stay for surgery to remove a tooth, I was left in a state of requiring significant treatment not available under the NHS. Dr Ordi discussed all options with me and I discovered that the implant treatment offered to me by another private dentist was not suitable for me without a bone graft, at significant further expense. The alternative treatment he offered was a 6 way bridge, which was not only cheaper, but required significantly less time in the chair than the implant option with bone graft. I am extremely pleased with the results. After trying a private dentist that tried to sell me unnecessary and unsuitable treatment, I decided to give Dr Ordi at Crownhill Dental Practice a try. I found his honest advice and willingness to offer cheaper alternative treatments very refreshing after the first private dentist I tried. Both my wife and I have now decided to use Crownhill Dental Practice for my regular dental needs, and would recommend the practice to anyone looking for an alternative to NHS dental care.

Following a motorbike crash some years ago, my front teeth were chipped and prone to staining. I know I wanted them crowned, but did not want the "normal" practice of a bridge to another tooth, so put the job off. There is now a new crown which Mr Ordi explained to me, involves reducing the tooth by 1mm and fitting a permanant crown - no drilling,filling or things attatched to other teeth - thats for me!. Had the job done last week and am now the proud owner of smooth,colour matched and perfectly fitted crowns. Total time? less than an hour, no pain and a very happy man - see the smiles! I happened to mention them to another dentist, who looked and commented "very nice and very well done". Thankyou Dr Ordi, that will do for me quite nicely.
