I do get nervous about going to the dentist but all the staff are very caring. Lenore is always very gentle, she makes me feel at ease and reassured while having my treatment. The clinic is very relaxing to wait in and is very clean. I would recommend this dentist practice 100%

A. F.After almost 40 years with another Plymouth dental surgery the unannounced retirement of the principal dentist left me with little option but to look elsewhere.
After finding Leonore and her wonderful team , almost accidentally, nearly six years on I am more than happy with them. I have used private dental practices for nearly 50 years and these guys are the best.
They are not cheap but no more expensive than average. They are above the price of rubies.
Would I recommend them? Absolutely. 😀

As an extremely anxious person who was quite frankly petrified of going to the dentist, it was going to be the hardest thing for me to find somewhere I felt comfortable just getting through the door. I always put off any kind of dental work as that fear always got the better of me and I hated my overcrowded wonky teeth so just didn’t bother with them. At the age of 32, I had had enough of constantly hiding my mouth when I laughed and never properly smiling so I decided to do something about it. I spent a huge amount of time researching adult braces, different practices, reputations and the feel of a practice was just as important to me too. Mannamead Cosmetic Dental Centre was the practice that stood out to me the most and I took the plunge and booked a consultation appointment. As soon as I walked in I instantly felt at ease, the practice is lovely and every single member of staff I came across was amazing. Lenore who would be doing my teeth instantly made all those fears go away and turned my fear into excitement that she could actually give me a smile I had never had. I couldn’t believe after being so scared my whole life of going to the dentist, that it all just went away!
After 18 months of adult braces and looking forward to every single appointment in between, I now have the most beautiful teeth which I never thought was possible! And I now can’t stop smiling and showing my teeth. I had no idea how having a smile would change my personality too, a smile is infectious! Lenore and the whole team totally changed my outlook and the way I felt about going to the dentist! I couldn’t be happier and am so grateful I found and chose MCDC to give me my perfect smile!
A. S.I went some years ago to have my old fillings removed and restored. It was a long process over a few sessions but I actually looked forward to each visit as I felt they knew completely what they were doing and kept me informed throughout the process. They also have some pretty fancy equipment to 3D print so that saved some time too. I'm now looking to go back again as I've lost faith in my local NHS dentist surgery that has had a large turnover of staff in the last few years. It is private dental care so expect a cost - but the staff and work are quality

I have been very nervous of the dentists in the past, but I found everyone in this practice to be really friendly, helpful and reassuring. The whole process was as painless as it could possibly be, and I think that Lenore is a true artist! I am so pleased with the results and haven't stopped smiling yet! Painless and well worth while!!
T. W.Very friendly and professional practice . Lenore is very softly spoken but is incredibly talented and loves her work . The auxiliary staff are lovely and have been there for years ( a good sign ) . I had a brace in my fifties due to misaligned bite and gum issue and was very wary but I’m delighted with the treatment and end result . If ever I was unsure of anything I emailed Lenore who replied very thoroughly . I was also very impressed that she was such a perfectionist and puts her passion for dentistry above profit .

However when attempting to book follow up treatment there is only a hygienist available one day and I was treated very flippantly when trying to book and maintain loyalty to a good practice. Ultimately one customer lost after many thousands spent.

m.This is a second positive well deserved review because in this place they capable to cure your thoot WITHOUT pain and WITHOUT needle.
They are using laughing gas, perfect if you an adult afraid of dentist because they can handle thoot clean and prevention without you feel anything and even with a smile on your face.
Perfect also for children and people with mental disability. They use a little mask (look like a piggy nose) that goes straight on the patient nose and in a matter of few minute the person is happy and feel no pain at all.
About the disability, just in case you there with a mentally disabled child or person that refuse to keep that mask on the nose, the solution to the problem, the dentist couldn't tell you due to deontological ethics, is that you (parents guardian) force that little gas mask on the nose of the patiente because it actually won't take long for the gas to do his effect and while he begun to do is effect for the dentist to do the work (nearly 5 minute) after the first 60 seconds you will notice the child (did with mi son), the child became calm and keep the mask on.
Suggestion is to book for regular check up. My son goes there every 4 month.

I needed to have a lot of work done all in one go, and they gave me the confidence to actually go ahead and finally get it sorted. Where the NHS wanted to do a general anaesthetic and remove four thoot, in this place they were using some sort of gas to made the child comfortable (kids love because the mask look like a piggy nose) and in only 30 minute they cure 3 thoots and extract only one.
The was some local anaesthetic by the end, a needle had to be use, for the extraction, but the boy did not get any reaction, nor feel any pain.
We been in and out in 30 minute and they also reduce the price because took less than expected.
