Excellent, caring staff. I experienced a totally pain-free filling and the dentist, Chad, showed great consideration that I am anxious about dental work because of an underlying health condition. Hygienists Kelly and Lindsay are also fantastic. My children and I have been with this practice for over 15 years and would recommend highly.

I think this was THE nicest dentist experience I have ever had! Magda and Milan (sorry if your names are misspelled) were so generous with their time, explaining everything, even told me it was okay to cry! They gave me options, agency and total patience. Even sprinkled humour in. I had a pain free extraction of a tooth that was infected. It was so delicately done, explaining all the way. They are clearly exceptional practitioners and I could not recommend this dentist more. I never thought I would look forward to my next visit to the dentist! 😂 Thank you so much

Being someone who is petrified of the dentists, never have I ever felt so relaxed and reassured when attending appointments. When I first went for my initial consultation I thought that nothing could be done to ‘fix’ my teeth and make me smile with confidence and be able to eat out with friends without worrying about a dental disaster. I am now half way through my treatment and last week 2 of my implant crowns were fitted. My front tooth is fixed and honestly looks amazing!!! I can now smile without worrying. Still a long way to go, but I know that the end goal will be amazing, and I know that I am in the very best of hands with Mitesh and his team. Thank you so much for making me smile once again!!

I had a lower wisdom tooth extraction last Thursday and although I suffer with fibromyalgia, CFS and anxiety, they made me feel as comfortable as I could be in the situation. They explained everything well and they were all very friendly and welcoming. I did end up feeling faint and sick shortly after extraction but due to my conditions I am prone to having that kind of reaction in certain situations and they helped me recover very quickly and calmly. So my all round experience with them was 10 out of 10! ⭐ I would highly recommend them! Thank you 🙏

Chad my dentist is totally brilliant. After my teeth were badly damaged/broken by NHS practice Chad has worked wonders putting the damage correct and so far the results are amazing. As a very nervous patient (due to what happened at NHS ) Chad has helped me go through the repair treatment with his explanation, reassurance and gentle manner throughout. Fabulous Dentist. I had pain in one of my teeth. And the pain was nothing I had ever felt in my life! After phoning 111 and in all honestly they were absolutely useless kept telling me to phone seven trees in the morning, and they could only see if they had appointments on that day and you couldn’t advanced book. Me working 15 hour days as a coach driver unfortunately just couldn’t be phoning and taking time off work to see if there was an appointment for that day so I decided that the pain was so intense I went private. And believe me I was worried about cost. However after having gone to St Budeaux dental centre of excellence I cannot praise them enough not only for there fair prices but how professionally brilliant they are, I have even sent my daughter to them and they have done wonders I can’t believe going private has been the best choice we have ever made. I understand parents and other individuals are very sceptical about going private with regards to price but I’d be the first one to say try it and judge later if you are in that much pain. As I believe you wouldn’t regret it

I have recently finished treatment at the Plymouth Dental Centre to have a dental bridge attached permanently to 4 implants. It has taken about a year involving many appointments but I am delighted with the results. The first part started with an appointment lasting several hours where all my top teeth were removed, four implants inserted and an interim bridge attached. All work was expertly carried out by Mitesh Badiani and assisted by the wonderful Leila. Unfortunately, probably due to my bone loss due to gum disease,one implant failed after a few weeks and I had another appointment with Mitesh to have it replaced. Recovery time took a few more months but luckily all was well. I was then expertly looked after by Supriti Paraskar who , after several more weeks of fitting and measuring and impressions ( not my favourite!) fitted the final bridge which is such a transformation from my own teeth a year before! I can now smile, eat and stop covering my mouth! Everyone from the office staff, the nurses , Mitesh and Supriti have been brilliant. Thank you so much. Alison Gunn

Excellent care. Unfortunately unable to access my NHS dentist for ongoing tooth pain. Contacted this Practice 13th and appointed for 14th. Xrays taken and problem quickly identified. Tooth needed immediate removal which was done quickly, efficiently and with a follow up plan. All staff very kind and professional.

Every area (reception, nursing, specialists, dentists) are all knowledgeable and explain everything clearly. Magda (Dentist) went above and beyond in supporting me through a very difficult week where I ended up in hospital due to an abscess. An amazing dentist. The dental nurses have all been friendly, efficient, supportive (running around lots to get everything done), reassuring and kind. The receptionists are amazing, helpful, supportive, friendly and kind. Dr Elneklawy (Endodontist), made sure I got the urgent medical help I needed. He later performed a root canal and it went well. He was friendly and efficient and put me at ease. Kirsty (Dentist) was so friendly and funny. She really knew what she was doing. She helped ease my fears and patched me up. Thank you to all!

My first consultation today, I was very nervous as I have a major fear of the dentist. The staff were so friendly onceI was there. I had x rays taken then I was examined it has been discussed with me at great length what treatment would be best for me. Also the price of each stage of my treatment, I didn’t feel pressured into making a decision. I have decided to go ahead with my treatment plan which isn’t cheap. It will definitely take a few months to get where I need to be. So far so good treatment starts in August il keep you updated. Had to have two teeth out and even though it is not ideal having teeth removed, I was given first class service at all times. Visited to have some bone removed. I was treated very professionally and in for only a short time. Visited the for first lot of treatment with hygenist, excellent service and will be in again for further assessment soon First class service again and will be back soon for the next lot of treatment Excellent service again the numbing gel used is highly recommended instead of the injection.

Chad is a fantastic dentist, as a 55 year old I had awful experiences with dentists in the past, so glad things have changed. Never had private dentist before, but now I will from now on, as a not good,like afraid at going to dentist people, they have made me at ease, very friendly and smiling eyes (mask’s on) they tell you everything that’s needed to be done and so far from two visits, I’ve. been given a plan of action (so to speak) and had a plaque cleaning and polish today, feeling better to have my smile back again soon, and yes begin private you have to part with your money, but it’s not as bad as I thought it would be, you can even have a payment plan if needed, but very happy to have started the ball rolling with some great people at PLYMOUTH DENTAL CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE

Was looked after by Magda, it is very difficult carrying out a conversation with masks on but she made sure I understood what was going on. She took a picture of the offending tooth to show me, took an X-ray and showed me what it all meant, really cool. Spent three days trying and failing to get help from other dentists in Plymouth, called Plymouth dental care of Excellence in the morning and had an appointment that afternoon. Far and away the best dentist I've been to. Expensive, yes, but the care taken, the attention to detail and the patience they showed with my failing 85-year-old teeth made it worth every penny. My teeth, because of my age and medication were not very good and I was ashamed to smile. Can't fault for customer service and services offered. Had an implant fitted and practice plan is good for regular check ups. It is fairly expensive but probably comparable to most private dentists. Everyone is friendly and seem very knowledgeable and experienced in dentistry. Definitely recommend.

A great practice with a great team. I have recently had Invisalign which is something I should have considered long ago. It’s not a quick fix (the process took over a year for me personally) but this will naturally vary depending on the treatment level required. The team at Plymouth Dental Centre of Excellence guided me through every step so I knew exactly what was being done or what was going to happen so there weren’t any surprises. To be honest I was a little sceptical in the beginning as it’s hard for a non dental ‘lay person’ to imagine how tiny plastic retainers can adjust the position of adult teeth to the levels that they do, but the thing is, they actually do. This treatment isn’t cheap either but then should you really skimp on your teeth?… I will however say that this treatment is fairly priced especially when you formulate in the complexity of the treatment and your end results so all things being relative and all that. The work that the dentist puts in to this process is also considerable, using impressive technology (with scanning equipment and computer rendering) to create your perfect natural smile that you will undoubtedly be happy with. If you aren’t totally happy with your teeth and want to get them straightened or adjusted then forget braces, it’s the 21st century, Invisalign is the way ahead and Dr Aleks and the team at Plymouth Dental are the ones to do it. I am a woman who is totally terrified of going to the dentist and it’s at least 3 years since my last visit. Having suffered from quite severe toothache for days a friend recommended “Plymouth Dental”. The team that looked after me on my 1st visit were exceptional in their care & support and can’t thank them enough. I was given antibiotics and another appt made so that a treatment plan could be discussed. 2nd appt was a month after the first and again the team were supportive & caring. I’m due my treatment under IV sedation next week I tried on a couple of occasions to write further separate reviews but don’t seem able to, so this is review following treatment & review. The staff of this dental practice are outstanding, I am totally terrified of having any form of treatment however I would recommend this practice 10000% I Knew nothing of the treatment whatsoever, though have to admit I had the IV sedation, everybody was so gentle & caring and not in the least judgmental. Returned to the dental centre on Monday for further treatment, taking into how I felt about dental treatment required all of the staff involved treated me with empathy & kindness. Treatment is ongoing for quite a few months so I’m sure I will be posting further updates So impressions done, further appt on Thursday for further assessment . As ever can’t thank the team enough for all they have done. So further extractions done & had to wait for healing etc. so this is 3rd appt post extractions. I had an excellent initial consultation resulting in a plan for my dental requirements. It was comprehensive, explanatory, and informed, which subsequently I took up and approved for the treatment. An intial start date was delayed through a thorough safety check at the practice then my initial visit for some extractions were completed very satisfactorily. I did have following this a couple of minor issues which IMHO and in my case would have been inevitable but a superb response of remedial examination and remedy sorted the problem. I decided to investigate getting dental implants to replace a partial denture and approached more than one practice. This one stood out with professional discussion and clearly laid out options. I also felt there was no pressure to rush in and I was able to make a decision in my own time. The premises and staff left me feeling in safe hands and I am proceeding with implants crowns and root canal treatment. So far scans, impressions and preparation have all been conducted with great skill and comfort. I am very pleased as my journey begins. An impressive organisation with experts for individual procedures and in house equipment such as the CT scanner etc. As part of my overall treatment plan I had 2 hour root canal treatment conducted yesterday (one tooth & two canals). Have had similar treatment at a different practice and although numbed found it aggressive and uncomfortable. I was pleasantly surprised how gentle the procedure was throughout and almost fell asleep. I Felt I was in safe and caring hands and am looking forward to future treatments. Chapter three of my treatment was the most invasive and worrying. One dead canine for extraction followed by three dental implants placed into my top jaw. Dr Badiani (Mitesh) spoke me through the procedure then numbed my gums before injecting. The tooth removal was very quick and non-aggressive and after some periods of minor vibration I was shocked to be told all 3 implants were in. I was promptly stitched up and received a comprehensive aftercare pack and brief from the dental assistant and left feeling what was I worried about. All very gentle and caring once again. Further evidence of the skill and attention is how little after pain I have experienced post procedure. Apart from a little tenderness I have had no aches or bleeding and slept a full night starting 5 hours after the surgery. The journey continues to impress at each stage and I look forward to the next phases -2 porcelain crowns in July then in 3/4 months teeth/bridge on the healed implants. I feel I have found a gem of a surgery. The final phase saw me handed over to Supriti for several appointments involving a series of impressions for crowns and implant bridge. At every stage my care was foremost. In addition the attention to detail with regards to the aesthetics was amazing with lots of photos, discussions and advice . The end result a great smile with firmly placed practical teeth . Over the moon. Fantastic service and end result an awesome dentist and team . Do not hesitate to use it has been a life changing experience for me.

The staff are amazing, so helpful and very patient. I recommend Plymouth Dental Centre of Excellence for patients of all ages. The only issue I am aware of is that the St Budeaux practice is not really ideal for disabled patients who cannot manage stairs. They do have a room downstairs and do their best to provide a good service but for more detailed treatment it is necessary to travel to their partner practice in Ashburton. The dentists, hygienist and entire staff in the practice go out of their way to make sure you are happy, comfortable, at ease, satisfied and aware of any treatment from the moment you walk in the door, so having one small issue is easy to overlook and I believe it is something they are addressing in the future.

I think I have written a number of these reviews on various sites in relation to this practice, all of which fail to adequately reflect what an amazing bunch of professionals they are. From the reception staff who, it seems, never forget a face, through the nurses who are kind, compassionate and very understanding of the awful position I found myself in - I had had two of my front teeth knocked out and several others loosened - to my amazing dentist Supriti Paraskar! What a complete gem she is. A woman who loves her work and takes pride in what she does, all the while understanding the emotional toll of such an injury on a person with a massive childhood fear of dentists. I know there are a lot more who share that fear. This practice restored my smile and restored my faith in dentists. I won't be going anywhere else for any future treatment so my fear is not fixed but this practice and everyone within it absolutely deserve their name. They really are a centre of excellence.

🥰 SO FLIPPING HAPPY 🥰 - So after 11 weeks of treatment with Dr Aleks my teeth are finally straight! - I've always had uneven teeth at the front. And although it bothered me, I put up with it (unaware of invisalign) - Every picture taken, I would always see my front tooth just sticking out! - I've had children ask me why my tooth sticks out the way it does, and i would just comment saying 'thats just the way its grown' - One child even said I look like Nanny Mcphee 🤣 which as funny as it was, it also made me hate my smile even more. - So I made the choice to look into braces. My research started with traditional braces which I would of been wearing for a year plus, and would of cost me over £4000 🙄 - I then came across invisalign! After doing alot of research online, I got sent a list of dentists in the Plymouth area that offer this treatment. After chatting with a few of them, I settled with Dr Aleks. From the first chat I had with him over zoom (lockdown) i felt comfortable and content with him. I liked that he was very honest from the offset, and never promised me anything he couldn't achieve. He is very passionate about his job and very caring towards his patients. - Once I had my consultation and Aleks sent me the scan of what my teeth would look like at the end of my treatment which was 11 weeks, my mind was set! Im getting Invisalign. - The whole process for me was pain-free. The whole 11 weeks was enjoyable! I was fascinated by the change, and looked forward to changing my alligners each week. - I was provided with a Scan Box which took pictures of my teeth so Dr Aleks could monitor them from the clinic and his home. He would regularly give me feedback ie: im brushing hard in a certain area, or that I'm doing great and that he couldn't wait to see the end result! - I had regular visits with him in the clinic, so face to face. Again he would greet me with a smile and check everything was on track. His excitement was touching, and trust me it showed! His assistant was also amazing! - I would send Dr Aleks messages through the dental monitoring app, or Facebook. Due to my work, it could be 6am in the morning or 11pm at night, and without fail, he would message me straight back! - Enless I told people about my invisalign treatment, no-one knew! The trays are so clear people just didn't notice! Ive had so many people say to me i look different, and that my smile has completely changed! Im overwhelmed with all the nice comments, and so grateful to Dr Aleks. - I know a few people who have had invisalign since, and their treatment has been slightly different to mine. So much so that when we compare treatments they wished they picked Dr Aleks, over their dentist! So he really is highly recommended 🤩 - So in summary... Would i recommend Invisalign? Hell yes! Would i recommend Dr Aleks? HELL YES! Do I look in mirror and smile at myself? HELL YES 🤣 ❤ We all have our own insecurities, im just pleased I took the plung to address one of mine.

My teeth were beginning to fall apart with ad hoc drill and fill from other dentists. Mitesh provided a treatment plan which was completed over a couple of years, and I have no further problems. A mixture of extractions, crowns, root canal and implant, each executed by a specialist dentist. Just excellent hygienist treatments now. A pity such treatment is not available on the NHS. An alternative path: never eat carbohydrates, and you won’t get tooth decay (or diabetes).
