Having moved to Plymouth not too long ago, I've struggled to register at any dentist. And then my filling fell out and caused me issues. I used the temporary filling kit but didn't think I did a good job.
I was seen by Marina and Kirsty who were just the loveliest people you could meet. They took the time to explain everything so I understood, told me what was going to happen before they did anything so I knew what to prepare for. I have never felt so taken care of as I did today. I cannot give them or this practice any higher praise.

The 1st lady I spoke to was lovely, the one who called me less than half an hour later the same. Receptionist kind and patient. And Chris the dentist and the wonderful dental nurse were great. Thank you so much.
N. S.Being new to the area and not being able to register with a Dentist was I worried when my back tooth started playing up (big time). Discovered The Dental Access Centre and phoned at 8.45 on the dot to find I was caller 18, I held on and eventually spoke to a very helpful person who took my details in full and explained clearly that the system works on a triage principal and if I hadnt heard anything by 5 pm that same evening, phone again tomorrow. I was hopeful but never really expected a call but much to my surprise a member of staff phoned me at 11.00 that same day, asked me some further questions and I was booked in fro an appointment at 1350 hrs that same day. I can honestly say that the service from the receptionists was superb on arrival and the determination of the Lady Dentist from Poland and her Hygenist was fantastic, in fact the best I have ever encountered. The procedure for the potential extraction for what was left of my tooth was explained with the possibilty that if it didnt work I'd be referred for a surgical procedure. That would take some 3 months ! I needed help before then so after plenty of anisetic the Dentist did her magic. The tooth was out and I was pain free. Thanks you to all at the Centre for a brilliant experience. A highly satisfied Patient.

The experience and expertise of the dentist is second to none and nothing is too much trouble.

P.The dentist was brilliant with my 7yr old, put her at ease and carried out an extraction on a cracked and infected baby tooth. I agree that it took me a while to get through to the emergency dentist but when I did the service was very professional and I can see that the time was due to the fact it was so busy. As it was an emergency appointment I had to take my 5 Yr old with me and to keep her from seeing the removal the receptionist let her sit in with her and help Her.out!!
G. M.Got an emergency appointment here yesterday, and from start to finish the staff were amazing. I was treated by Alaa (sorry, I didn't get the dental assistant's name) and both were brilliant. Took their time to explain everything to me, were excellent during my tooth removal, and gave great aftercare adivce.
If you're a nervous patient, be assured you could not be in better hands.
My only problem...NSYNC will now forever be associated with the day I had my tooth removed. Haha.
z.Excellent very caring and put my anxious, nervous self at ease when I needed an emergency app with a dental abscess , I received first class care , Dr Haywood is amazing and I couldn’t fault the care and ongoing care I’m receiving from them, honestly such a wonderful man with an impeccable bedside manner , he literally saved my life and I’m eternally grateful 😀

T. M.My partner hadn’t seen a dentist for over 18 years and all of a sudden she woke with a huge abscess.
We called round to see if anyone could fit her in and we ended up seeing Claire/Clare (dentist) and Helen (dental nurse) and if I was to say they were amazing it would be an understatement.
We were greeted at the door by a lovely receptionist too, who explained everything to us and reassured us the dentist we would see is very sympathetic to phobias and had a lot of experience with all sorts of people and needs.
My partner has a fear of the dentist and suffers with some health issues too. They were amazing with her. They took their time, had a giggle, explained what they were doing at every stage and generally were reassuring and nothing was too much trouble. I couldn’t recommend this place more! Thank you ladies ♥️
T. M.I had a very painful tooth infection this weekend, but after a substantial wait on Saturday night, NHS 111 made me an appointment at Seven Trees for today. The staff were wonderful, especially the dentist, who was both highly skilled and gentle with her approach. Thank you!

J. R.Rang Monday morning in severe pain took a while to get through then was told to expect a call back. Got the call with a very prompt offer of a 9 o clock appointment. Was ushered straight in to two lovely polish ladies one was called gosia sadly did not catch the others ladies name. She quickly ascertained I needed teeth removed and before I even realized they were out. Fantastic service. Thanks to all the staff 😀😀😀

It can feel disheartening waiting all day and not hearing back but its not the staff's fault considering how many people need treatment. I got seen by a lovely dentist who sorted the issue and made me feel at ease. Thank you!.

W.A friendly and efficient service. The offending tooth was removed (no pain, just alot of pressure!), advice provided and I was out of the door within around 45 mins of arrival. Bear in mind that this is an emergency service, so they will only deal with the immediate issue. Would definitely use again / recommend to anyone needing an emergency appointment.

My dentist Ala and her dental nurse were amazing - took the time to explain everything in detail, made me feel right at ease, and had a smile on their faces the whole time. A real credit to our NHS!

Lots of the negative reviews here are about not being able to be seen or get through. Which is true, it took my partner 33 attempted calls before getting through and I then had two telephone assessments before getting an appointment for the following day. HOWEVER you must remember this is an urgent service for people who aren't registered with a dentist. Not a drop in centre for anyone or any problem. They have limited spaces and need to prioritise. My experience has given me the kick up the bum to register at a dentist, which I should have done ages ago.
All the staff at my appointment were absolutely fantastic. I was so frightened and they put me completely at ease, talked me through everything, gave me plenty of time to process and recover and reminded me that I am in control if I need to stop. That tooth extraction I was so terrified of having was quick and painless and the dentist and dental nurse were so kind & caring. I cannot thank them enough. The best thanks I think will be sorting myself a dentist and dental plan for the future, to not add pressure on their service again! ❤ Thank you so much DAC, you do fantastic work!!!

S.i managed to get seen here on a bank holiday monday, the receptionist was so caring and heard how much pain i was in and wanted to get me referred to speak to the dentist asap. i got seen an hour later and had a tooth extraction, the dentist and nurse that did the procedure were amazing! especially the dentist (i wish i knew her name) she knew i suffered with G.A.P.D and just did an incredible job in reassuring me. am so grateful for everything they did that day! amazing caring people <3
G. L.Called 8:50am got anti biotics by 12 noon and my bad tooth removed by 3pm, sorted.
Great staff, was seen at north prospect dentist after my call but seen by the same dentist who came from 7 trees and this number.
If you have a very bad tooth these are the people to see, understand and help.
A.Managed to get a same day appointment as I was in a lot of pain, I seen Anita & she was so lovely and put me at ease. Had my tooth taken out, which I was worried about but it was nice, quick and painless. Wasn’t in there for no longer than 45 minutes, brilliant dentist 👌🏻

S. J.So far so good :) lovely dental service, very friendly and has to be the most relaxed I've ever been haha didn't even know I was getting injected, she hid the needle, it hurt much less as I hate injections, lots of work to do but so far very happy with everything :)
D. W.I have visited Seven trees dental access centre today after being referred by my dentist, and I cannot praise this centre enough. I am a very anxious person when it comes to seeing the dentist, for anything, but Rebecca & Katie immediately put me at ease, explaining the whole process of what would be performed and how they would take out my abscessed tooth and i really cannot thank them enough! I would also like to say all the staff including the lady i spoke to initially, are all exceptional from start to finish, Thank you so much!

J.Just to share with everyone, was in so much pain with my tooth, I got an emergency appointment at seven trees, two lovely ladies(didn't get their names) relaxed atmosphere,excellent service they provide, should be really praised for the service their providing for people, so Thankyou ladies I cannot thank you enough
s. c.Staff are brilliant! I have suffer with anxiety and this is sometimes tenfold when going to the dentist. The staff make you feel comfortable, check that you're OK, ask about your life and just generally lovely people plus the work is done to a high standard.
10/10 everutime I've had an appointment :)
G. H.I did have to ring every day for 4 days until I was seen, but this is more a problem that there was no alternative available. The staff were always polite and professional, working under what must be a lot of pressure - so many patients with so few slots available to see them in. When I did get my appointment they were excellent - they were very kind and dealt with my tooth extraction in caring and professional way - Thank you.
If only we had more NHS Dentist available then waiting times would not be so long!
a. t.From the reception lady to the two lady that helped me to day excellent service and very caring as well as I have a fear of the dentis, The two lovely female dentist that took care of me were such lovely people and really made me feel like I was in safe hands
K. N.I was accepted here when my mainstream dentist could not cope with me due to my Autism and the staff are amazing and warn me about drilling (which I don't like the noise of).
A thank you to Clare P (dentist) from 2015 who made sure that my male carer removed an envelope that the carer was waving in my face had to do with another service user (from my care home) and their medication written on the envelope
One bad thing is I had to have 2 root canals without my permission. When I had a filling, my dentist (Jan) had overfilled the filling which caused horrible pain that couldn't be cured with painkillers.
Another bad thing is Jan gave me a temporary filling which was banana flavouring and it made me gag for a few days.
On the otherhand, when I ask for a female dentist, they always get me a female dentist to my wishes
R. L.Granted it took a while to get through as the line is very busy, but once I did I received a great service. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful, she explained everything really well and listened to me. I recieved a call back later that day as advised and the dental practitioner was really helpful and advised me that I would have an appointment the next day at a local dentist.
All in all I was very with the service received by the Dental Access team and ever grateful for the NHS.

My dentist (Alaa) and nurse (Rachel) were also extremely helpful and friendly.
The whole team there were fantastic, under what must often be a pressured and stressful environment. I am so very grateful for this facility and once I finally get registered with an NHS clinic, I will be sure to never miss an appointment; lesson learned!
S. O.Being a massive Phobic where the dentist us concerned I stupidly suffered in agony for months in pain with a tooth that had a hole in it. I rang the clinic at 8.45am and was told I would hear back from a nurse. I rang again at 12 as hasn't heard and was told I was still on the list. 12.30 I got call and offered an appointment for 2pm. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, from receptionist to dentist I was treated with kid gloves ( as I said give phobic). The dentist I had ( and nurse) were amazing. Sorry I can't remember your name, but you're due to have a baby boy xx. She explained everything and took everything at my pace, even when I had a giddy spell. I needed to have my tooth removed but it didn't quite go to plan ( my tooths fault not the dentist ) and I ended up having a bit of surgery and stitches. I can not thank them enough for their treatment of me. You have restored my faith and just wish I could have you as my permanent dentist. Thank you. I highly recommend this clinic

M. B.Brilliant, I turned up with Trigeminal Neuralgia from a dental problem, trigeminal neuralgia is the same as having the worst toothache you ever had in every single tooth on one side of your face. It is also immune to any over the counter medication.
I was pain free from the moment the anesthetic went in and I could not be more grateful.
They also sorted out my 4 yr old daughter who had a toothache the day we were leaving on holiday.
Brilliant service from dedicated and caring people.

J. J.I can see reading the reviews that people have had very different experiences here. All I can say is that I had an appointment within a few hours of ringing and the tooth was pulled. Took a little bit of patience waiting in the waiting area beforehand but that didn't matter.

J. B.I have never had a dental experience to rival the one today, 4 Jan 2023. I had infected roots on a broken tooth and had experienced several days of intense pain which led me to approach Seven Trees Dental Access at Plymouth. What a superb experience from the start with Donna, my first telephone contact, who was kind, understanding and efficient. The dentist and dental nurse (I wish I had noted their names) were so caring and the procedure carried out was completed without fuss or pain and with a detailed commentary throughout. I cannot speak highly enough of this practice. Thank you so very much. James
