Took my 9 month old baby for his first check up today & they were absolutely wonderful! The secretarial ladies were really pleasant & welcoming! I was late (because baby brain is a real problem) but, the dentist completely understood & still saw us! She looked at his teeth & gave me some advice on brushing & building good habits & let me ask the questions I needed to. Can't recommend this practice enough! Booked in for his 6months check whilst I was there, because when you find a good dentist it's well w keeping them.

Having had a really horrible experience at a previous dental surgery, along with having a phobia of dentists in general, I attended Byways Dental Practice this afternoon (my first dental appointment in 5 years) and was blown away by how lovely, caring and brilliant they were. Amita and her assistant, who I really wish I could remember the name of, were lovely and really put me at ease. Amita was gentle and kind and listened to my concerns and I came away feeling so relieved. I also have to thank Sue and the reception staff at Byways who were equally as fantastic. I am now booked in for a root canal and for once I’m not afraid. Would highly recommend!

Pavan Gogna who carried out my treatment throughly explained my options and listened to my input. He took the time to make sure I was comfortable and looked out for my well-being during treatment. I do not know many people who like going to the dentist? Well, fear not the whole experience of Byways was amazing. From entering the building with the reception staff knowing who I was, to been called on time, to the procedure to follow for the pandemic, to the light/bright rooms to the friendly professional dentist, hygenist and nurse, it was a pleasant experience. From start to finish polite, chatty and make you feel at ease, very good if your someone who isn't keen on dentists. Any questions regarding your teeth answered straight away and suggestions always given to improve your health. Sent email and text few days in advance to remind you of appointment, will even call if you prefer. Never had any problems or complaints with my trips to Byways 👍.

The team at Byways are wonderful. Having suffered an unfortunate bike accident, which led to several damaged teeth - including one that was completely broken - all of the team have provided a first rate service throughout my various visits of recent weeks. Staff on reception are super friendly and welcoming, whilst both Amita and Pav put you at ease immediately. Having a rather unique treatment plan, Amita and Pav take you through the various options available, before providing a first-rate service. However, perhaps most impressive of all is the aftercare service. Having had to endure a tooth extraction, Pav personally rang me a couple of days afterwards to see how I was doing which was a wonderful personal touch. Moreover, any further issues and the team are always super flexible to ensure they can see you as quickly as possible. Overall I've never experienced such a great service in dentistry!

I live in North Staffordshire but am at this moment on holiday in Henley on Thames. I visited my own dentist in Biddulph on two occasions a week ago to have two wisdom teeth extracted. The first time the dentist was unable to remove the teeth. The second time a different dentist managed to remove one of them after an hour of trying. As we are in Henley for a three weeks I needed to get the other one removed. I contacted Byways Dental Practice, explained the position and booked an appointment for the following day. Truly unbelievable !!!! After the preparation the lady dentist extracted the troublesome tooth within five minutes. Fantastic unbelievable service from the most talented dentists that I’ve ever been to.

Normally a very good and welcoming practice, recently changed ownership and i feel the service is still of good quality, however the advice should be taken with a pinch of salt - I was offered some particularly expensive treatment with the pressuring phrases "i would not be concerned if you were 75 years old, but at the moment i am" and "you will just have the nubs of your teeth in 15 years". Obviously for a person with no past issues and keeps dental hygiene at a high standard, this was quite shocking. Follow up 2nd opinions concluded that there is no cause for concern.
