I got an emergency appointment for the same day (after many other dental practices said they couldn't see me for over a week) when I had sudden, severe pain in one of my teeth. The dentist identified an infection in my tooth with an x-ray and wrote a prescription for antibiotics, explaining the issue to me clearly and answering my questions. He was very calm and efficient and I thought the price for an emergency private appointment was very reasonable for what I received. The receptionist was also lovely. Cannot fault my experience here!

Very friendly receptionist, assistant and dentist. Really glad that they offer Saturday early morning appointments too. My only criticism preventing giving it 5 star was that I had an 08:00 appointment that didn't start until 08:15. Otherwise a fantastic service and clinic.

Needed to have old tooth roots removed and a large molar right at the back- and I have an utterly illogical terror of dentist visits from bad experience YEARS ago! All team were brilliant! My Mum is absolutely petrified of the dentist & has to take meds to calm her but she was made to feel, welcomed, & @ ease. Oscar the dentist was so friendly with her & reassured her all the time. Firstly I’m nearly 40 and so scared of any dentist due to losing some teeth at 12 in accident. I could not fault my dentist this last 8 months, Rickard has been amazing I can finally smile with confidence:) . Such an amazing dentist (Dr. Koushik Navale) I am a nervous patient and not only was my treatment excellent the extra care and time that he took to calm my nerves was second to none! I also am hard of hearing and the entire team always cater to my needs, as this can be very hard especially during Covid with face masks! It can be quite anxiety inducing to not understand the conversation but these guys never make me feel this way! It’s a 10 out of 10 from me. Thank you all, it’s appreciated!

when i came to have my naughty tooth pulled i was near tears and shaking like a child, but your wonderful dentist and assistant were so calming i had to tell myself off for being so silly. ive had a few bad experiences of both HNS and private dentists who punish you for having genuine issues with teeth in the past, your dentist was wonderful; understanding, patient, kind and his distraction technique worked a treat. i dont know when the tooth was out but not a single bit of pain at all, truthfully, i felt nothing, thank you please can he pull all my teeth in future. even, can i have him as my regular dentist from now on. dont forget to also thank his assistant who held my hand during the procedure

I have been using this dentist for 3 years now. I was first referred to them for an emergency appointment through 111, and I thought they were really good so I registered with them afterwards and left my old dental practice. I have been very happy with all treatment received at Damira. I have had a few fillings here and a root canal. Each time the work has been great and I have had x-rays as well. They do look at your teeth properly and ask if you have any issues or pain with any teeth. The dentist and his assistant are very professional and kind. Always making sure I am ok and telling me to raise my arm if any pain or need a break when having a filling. The reception desk has always been fully staffed, always 2 or 3 sat behind the desk. Whenever I try to call I get through to them in no more than 2 minutes, excellent. I also use their online booking system which is very convenient! The prices for all work is fantastic, even for a white filling. I have recommended Damira to all my friends that have dental issues, they have also used than and said what brilliant service they have received. The building also has a pharmacy so if you need a prescription for a tooth infection etc you can very conveniently get it whilst you’re there. The dentist is located on the second floor, well signposted and accessed via a lift. The car park is free as well, if the car park is full you can also park on the road as it is residential. Highly recommend and if you are ever unhappy about something I would suggest to talk about it and it will soon be resolved. They are all there to help us. My dentist always says see you in 6 months and smiles, what more could you want.

Things have really improved at Damira. I now have a regular dentist who is wonderful (Oscar). The practice does open over the weekend for those of us with a 9-5. It is so clean and the staff are wonderful. They were able to facilitate a 360 x-ray due to damage to my teeth. All in all very impressed

Visited today to have a tooth removed. Ingrid and the team on reception were amazing and really helped keep me calm whilst I was waiting. It was a particularly tricky tooth to remove due to weakness but the dentist, Despina was fantastic, kept her cool and provided reassurance throughout. The nurse, Tom, was equally amazing, providing reassurance and a calming touch throughout. Without a doubt this is the best dentist I've been to in years and will continue to use and recommend. Damira is always such a welcoming dental clinic. When my baby girl chipped her tooth they found me an appointment the same day to have her seen. Dentist Desptuy is amazing and gentle, as someone with a phobia of dentist she's really made me feel at ease, when I had to have an emergency wisdom tooth extraction she was brilliant. Had first check up in 18 months. Not happy with having to use the lift (suffer from claustrophobia) as no stairs available. When leaving the lift the signposting was not too good. Receptionists helpful. But not happy with front screens to reception. Opening too low so had to stoop to see the receptionist . Already have trouble hearing as cannot lip read due to masks. So had to rely on my husband to tell me what was said. Did not have to wait long & dentist/assistant were very friendly & good. I will need some treatment but unable to to get an appointment until the end of July. So generally ok experience.

Highly recommend Damira Western Lane and Dentist Mandla Simelane, the best dentist I have ever had. He has an excellent manner, always explains everything thoroughly. So impressed, I decided to ask for cosmetic dentistry advice. Very surprised at what was on offer and the prices we so reasonable. I went ahead and had bonding on my front teeth, and the result is outstanding, so natural, changed my smile and confidence. I should have done this years ago. Phoned the surgery 10 days ago spoke to the receptionist who said the dentist would call me in 10 mins which he did, we had a phone consultation he said the receptionist would call me back in 10 mins to make an appointment which she did . Honestly the dentist and people here are so nice, but sadly it's a NHS practice and it's just underfunded. I was told I could go on a waiting list but with a list of fillings need they advise I go private with them to address the issue I had at the time. So I did the three fillings payed private rates, ever since then those three teeth i've been unable to floss without catching on fillings inbetween the teeth that weren't smoothed off. Along with that after going to a fully private dentist they showed me that the work I got done here there was still decay left in that tooth. Along that the quailty of the work is just not great, the teeth feel very differnt like they where smoothed down to stubs. I greatly appricate that they helped me out during a difficult time, but this is a NHS practice with old equipment that will do private treatment to NHS standards. Don't expect anything more

Cant fault my dentist personally she is the best dentist ive had in years and had no issues with her. she is very understanding and very patient and very gental. I am a very nervous patient and always have my headphones in while in the chair as its the only way i can cope. My dentist never has a problem with it and always agrees to anything i need to make me comfortable. Unfortunately the one thing that lets this surgery down is not answering the phone for ages and ages. its not even because the phone is engaged its not its just noone answers. The lady on reception isn’t very professional (the short plump blonde one) but the dentist I saw was lovely vey professional.
