Went to get my braces fitted here when I attended university. Costin and Pam were amazing at answering all my questions regarding the process. due to having to move to wales mid way through treatment they were incredibly good with helping with appointment times. I was informed in each session what movements were being made with my teeth and adjustments were made accordingly. Could not have picked a better dentist for this treatment. 10/10 would recommend and thank you both for the wonderful service

Costin and Pamela took great care of me over the duration of my orthodontic treatment - I had fixed braces for a bit over two years. I am very happy with the result, what a difference straight teeth can make! The service provided was highly professional, always warm, and friendly. I had '6 month smile' braces with Costin and Pam and they were removed back in May. Not only was I amazed with the results, I can not recommend them enough for the way way they make you feel relaxed and comfortable! Not once did I fear going to the dentist! Just over a year ago I had a crown fitted from another dental practice.. Not feeling happy with the Crown that kept needing re- cementing, I was recommended by a friend to come along and see Costin. I cant believe the difference after going ahead with a new crown. I keep showing my friends and family how amazing it looks and feels you can not even tell that it is a crown.. The practice are kind and friendly Pam who is a great nurse made me feel comfortable at all times. This is the best dentist I have ever been to, hands down! I used to be extremely afraid of the dentist, and this place has completely erased all my fear! Dr.Costin and Pamela are both so kind and really make you feel like you are in good hands! They are also both very talented. I've been coming to Portland Street for 11 years and I would highly recommend them for anyone who dreads going to the dentist. Before I joined Portland Street I had had many bad experiences with various NHS dentists and would often leave in tears after just a check up! Previously Matthew and now Costin, along with Pamela, are really gentle and explain what they are doing and I've never experienced any pain in any of my treatments, and I've had a few: fillings, veneers, crowns and wisdom tooth extraction - none of it was painful, not even the injections. Not many people can say that going to the dentist is a pleasure, but I can honestly say that at Portland Street Dental Care it is! Even my children look forward to their check ups!

This is by far the best dentist I have ever been too, they are so friendly and make you feel at ease soon as you get there. They dont make you feel like your just another body on there chair. I had work done about 2 years ago for my wisdom teeth. Which resulted getting dry socket from getting them removed, I was in so much pain and was going back ever other day, they where so sympathetic towards me and caring and made sure they did everything possible to make me feel better. I have got back to them again to get my top 2 wisdom teeth now and i was terrified but they where there every step of the way with me and didnt feel anything and they have heeled amazing !! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I initially visited Portland Street Dental for a consultation on the Six Month Smile brace that the practice offers with Costin and Pamela. I went ahead with the treatment and 7 months on my brace has been removed and I am so happy with the results and the customer service that I received from Costin, Pamela and the rest of the team during my treatment. They were always helpful and very quick to respond to any questions or concerns that I had and would always make time if I needed any unexpected appointments. A great practice!

I took the plunge at 32 years old and had braces for 11 months. I was really worried that braces would impact on my public speaking role at work but they didn't at all. Braces just made me brush my teeth more and be conscious of what I ate. This year I have been to the dentist more times than I have my entire life but Constin and Pam made the whole experience relaxing and friendly. The cost of the braces was very reasonable and Costin made allowances for bracket breakages which I am grateful for! Costin had his work cut out because my deadline was my wedding (and so could not be moved) and although at times it seemed like my teeth wouldn't be ready in time he nailed it and the braces were off 5 days before my wedding. Costin is definitely my dentist of choice now and rather than dreading the dentist, I am looking forward to my next check-up to catch up with him and Pam!

I honestly thought my teeth were beyond help when I first stepped into Portland Street dental care. Costin and Pamela showed me just how wrong I was. I've just finished the 6 month smiles treatment and I couldn't be happier with the results. I used to be miserably aware that smiling at someone exposed the crooked, neglected nightmare in my mouth, but now I take every opportunity to show off my new smile. Costin, Pam and Lisa create a warm and welcoming environment and little by little, they made me forget the harrowing ordeal that visiting the dentist used to be for me. Chipped my front tooth Sunday, called up the following day when they were open (I called in my lunch break around 13:00) they managed to fit me in for 15:30 and made my tooth look better than before it got damaged! All fixed in 30mins! Very impressed with the professional yet approachable service and it wasn’t “sales-like” at all. They were up front about costs. Didn’t feel uncomfortable or pressured like other dentists I called up that day who wanted me to book an appointment for a initial check up (etc) first before tackling the issue and other dentists in the area also wanted me to put down a deposit before going in a having a chat. So these guys really did exceed my expectations. Highly recommended, will be returning.

So, where do I start? Friendly - Tick! Efficient - Tick! Nice environment - Tick! Good location - Tick! Good teamwork - Tick! However, the thing I like the most about Costin and Pamela is that they actually make it a really nice experience to have work done there! It might sound crazy, to enjoy a trip to the dentist, but it's the truth. Costin takes his time to get it right and if you are fearful in any way of having "The Injection", you really needn't worry. I have no idea how, but you hardly feel it and what you do feel is just like someone gently pressing against your gum with their finger. I found my emergency visit this morning for a big filling that fell out yesterday so relaxing I actually nodded off 3 times during my hour in the chair! Apologies for the slight snore on the third time! So if you want a nice, relaxing hour or two out of your day, forget shopping, forget coffee, forget lunch, forget the spa - get yourself some work done here! :)
