P. R.Why do more dentists not advise us to go here out of hours! I’ve had what started as some sore gums for a few days but developed into lockjaw and an infection and I tried my best to get over it and let it run it’s course. By Saturday, the pain was unbearable even on paracetamol and ibuprofen and no one was open. People have emergency lines that don’t work, some dentists couldn’t see me until Monday and couldn’t offer a prescription without a visit. 111 said I’d get a call back within 24-48 hours and then I stumbled across The 247 Dentist. From the reception team to the dentist that I spoke with, they were all lovely, cheerful, understanding and had no trouble getting me a virtual appointment only a few hours after my first call and a prescription sorted 10 minutes later. If ever I need emergency dentistry, this will absolutely be my place of choice. Being someone whom fears dentistry, the happy and easy nature of dealing with The 247 Dentist installs so much confidence even for me! Absolutely fantastic! Thank you guys and girls!

After having no luck with NHS and my decayed tooth at the start of a bad infection.
I phoned 24/7 dentist and booked an appointment.
They managed to get me in 2 hours from that phone call.
I was greeted by really friendly nurse and dentist who were really professional.
It was quickly noted that the tooth required extraction and was a start of an infection.
They managed to extract the tooth then and there and supply me with a prescription for the infection.
I was at home within an hour after my appointment! What more can I say.
Again super friendly and even had a laugh with them.

A. J.Karim & Amy were amazing they put my 4 year old daughter and myself at ease when we went in to see them as she had a broken tooth and being an emergency at 9.15pm it cost £245 which is better than our dentist quoted us. Lovely people clean dentist and thankfully my daughter is not scared of going to the dentist! Thank you she is not in any pain anymore!
N. R.Thoroughly recommend to anyone who is in excruciating pain and cannot get an appointment with their regular dentist or during unsociable hours. I wouldn't waste my time with the 111 NHS emergency service. The dentist was kind, patient and explained everything thoroughly. It isn't cheap, but then you wouldn't expect a private emergency dentist to be at NHS prices.

A.I had cause to seek the services of 'the247dentist' in Gloucester on the evening of Thursday 1 Dec '22. A recently (4-months) crowned tooth had developed pulpitis and, after 3 or 4 days the pain was excruciating, and my normal dental practice wasn't able to offer a same-day appointment. I'd like to thank Jake and Sam for providing this service and the pain relief that resulted from the treatment. Further root canal and crown treatment required and booked with my dental practice.

B. S.Great experience, thank you. I needed my wisdom tooth removed and there were some complications with it and it took me so long to find a dentist who would do it. From the first phone call I had with the girl at reception (Danielle) I could tell that they were the dentist I would go with as she was so helpful in helping with my issue, explaining it to me and making sure I got an appointment quickly. The dentist (Jason) was so comforting and ensured me he would be able to take my tooth out with care and gave me lots of reassurance and I didn’t even even feel nervous. He was very professional and knew exactly what to do and was worth every penny. He explained the whole procedure to me, showed me my X-ray results and took time to explain all aftercare to me too. Overall, I don’t think getting your tooth taken out is meant to be a enjoyable experience but honestly you guys made it so easy for me and gave me the right guidance etc so I can’t thank you guys enough. Highly recommend them, very professional and get the job done in a perfect way. Thank you again guys :)

I started having migraines which led to a pain in my tooth like nothing I have had before, and of course my dentist was closed on this particular day that I needed to be seen and just relieved of pain. I plucked up the courage to see an emergency dentist (I am so so scared of seeing dentists other than my regular dentist). I completely go back to a baby, crying, bad anxiety and having the shakes.
As soon as I walked through the door I was warmly welcomed and was seen by an amazingly comforting dentist (Thomas) who was able to sort the problem for me, took me out of pain and actually made me so at eased that I was able to laugh through the procedure!!! I seriously cannot recommend enough! Lovely place!

D. H.As a nervous patient, I had put off visiting the dentist with a broken back tooth for a year. Eventually the pain set in and I had to get it sorted. I booked an appointment easily and at a time to suit me. The Dentist and nurse were amazing! Friendly and professional. M. M.I phoned to get an emergency appointment for my partner on Saturday evening after seeing/having an awful experience with a 111 dentist earlier today.
The pain had increased severely and spread up his face.
He was seen within 30mins of my call. My partner said the dentist he saw here was exceptional, (unfortunately he didn't get his name). The dentist explained everything & was very professional, open & honest. My partner won't hesitate to return for future treatment if required & I know that he will highly recommend Smilemakers to anyone else who is in need of quality dental treatment.
The receptionist was wonderful from the moment I spoke to her, welcoming my partner at the door and saying goodbye.
He come out of his appointment immediately brighter and more comfortable. Thank you so much for such a great service.

C. W.I absolutely cannot recommend the 247 Dentist enough! After an entire day and night of climbing the walls with throbbing toothache, I made a call and this service booked me in within 2 hours. Sarah and Tom conducted an incredibly thorough assessment, talking me through the entire process and everything they needed to do. They even showed me my X Ray and talked me through what everything looked like. I felt very in control and at ease the entire time. Sarah and Tom took their time to answer any questions I had and to make sure I was fully informed of the treatment they were able to carry out for me.
As for the actual treatment, I did not feel a single thing!!!! Totally pain free. Sarah and Tom took an X Ray, and performed the subsequent portion of a root canal. They also explained after care and next steps for me to take up with my own dentist.
I would give 10 stars out of 5 if I could! Friendly, thorough, relaxed and gentle - everything you could want from a Dentist.
Also excellent care and service for the cost, considering this is an out of hours private dentist. It didn't cost me anything more than what my own dentist would have charged in-hours.
J. A.I called this great service after suffering with toothache for three days. I attended the NHS out of hours service on a Saturday morning but was put off having the tooth removed as it was a temporary tooth that had been fashioned out of composite and the material was stuck to the tooth next to it. I asked if this would cause the tooth next to it to come away too. The dentist said he could not guarantee there would not be any damage to the other tooth and because they are not allowed to use a drill due to Covid (as it generates aerosol particles) he could not separate the teeth before extracting. (He said they did not even have a drill)
I called 247 Dentist and was given an appointment at very lovely clean, high end premises in Southampton. By then the antibiotics had kicked in and I was not in nearly as much pain, but I know from experience it returns with a vengeance so would have still liked an extraction. Dr Koroneos, said he would not extract a front tooth without a denture to put in place afterwards. I really did not care about this, as the pain had been excruciating, but because the pain had settled for now he advised I find a dentist to do the work in this window of the antibiotics working. I cannot comment on the dentistry skills but from my impression as a nervous patient, I would have been more than happy to trust him. From my research beforehand, he came very highly qualified and recommended, so you are not getting just any old body for the job. Although I was hoping to get the tooth extracted I can understand the advice. Thank God for this service that’s all I can say.

I was nervous being 6 months pregnant but he put me at ease and his work was quick, painless and perfect. Thank you! And for anyone considering using their services, this is my second time using them, they are worth every penny!
L. B.Excellent service. I phoned up on Sunday afternoon and was booked in for 7pm that evening. I came in with a cracked tooth on either side and within 1.5 hours of arriving had both teeth removed. I am a nervous wreck at the dentists. I've put off going for years and am a total wimp but the dentist was very reassuring, answered all my questions about the procedure and was very patient with me when I asked for breaks in between pulling (I have a small mouth so it took some work to get them out!). The dental assistant was really friendly and helped me relax. I was given antibiotics and aftercare instructions before I left. It was expensive as its a private practice but worth every penny in my opinion. I would not hesitate to go back there.
c. s.Worst time of year to get pain Christmas! My normal dentist’s went to answer phone which advised to call the emergency NHS dentist, tried that which not open until Wednesday 29th. After a wrecked Christmas day in pain and 1-2hours sleep that night I found 24/7 dentist after searching desperately online on boxing day, I called them at 8.50am they answered straight away and I was seen by lunch time that day!
I am very nervous at the dentists but Mr Yonis was excellent and his assistant was lovely it soon put me at ease, options and pricing were very clear before I started, my wisdom tooth which was in a bad state was removed, Mr Yonis took time to explain everything I needed to not do and do afterwards. I am so grateful to 24/7 dentist, it’s an excellent service without you I would have suffered for days.

W. D.I’m not one for writing reviews but I feel after the amazing service I received from 247 dentist I have to praise them.
Having made the initial enquiry at 8.30am on a Sunday having been awake all night with toothache I was given a 12.45 appointment.
I was met at the door by the nurse Christie, asked to complete some paperwork before seeing Jason the dentist. Jason listened to the issue before examining the problem, a quick X-ray and he talked me through the X-ray and the options.
Once I had decided to remove the tooth they gave me some injections and got on with the the procedure, at all times they checked I was feeling comfortable and not in pain, it was quickly completed and I was packed off with some antibiotics.
I definitely would use them again when my dentist are closed and unable to help!

The nurse and Jason were welcoming, professional but friendly an abundance of patience and strange as it may seem made a visit to the dentist a pleasure. T. E.Sarah was kind and reassuring from start to finish and ensured i felt settled and comfortable during my first visit. Jason my dentist was absolutely amazing. Spoke me through everything in detail, showed me my x-ray, explained what he was going to do, even showed me what a healthy tooth should feel like, made sure i was comfortable and settled, reassured me every single time i feel slightly worried or anxious, checked that i was in no pain whatsoever before he swiftly and gracefully pulled 2 x teeth . He cracked jokes and played Beyonce and that was the first time in my life i left a dentist happy, content pain free AND SMILING!!!!! Super super nice man if i could leave him a tip i would but all i can do is rave about him to family and friend. MONEY WELL SPENT!

P. C.After suffering with a bad wisdom tooth for many years, it got that bad & I was in that much pain that I had to make an emergency appointment, I wasn't looking forward to it as (like many) I don't relish visiting any dentist.
From the moment of my initial call to going in for the appointment, just 2 hours later, I was dealt with in a very considerate & professional manor. The dentist (Mr Darling) was brilliant, professional, friendly & reassuring & explained everything as he went.
I won't say it was painless but it was nowhere near as bad as I'd imagined.

I was so worried that this was going to be a very in and out service but I was wrong - Edward was very calm, patient and fixed me up very quickly! B.Covid times with a broken back tooth & a painful absess. Our NHS dentist & 111 wouldn't help. They only could recommend trying antibiotics and pain relief which days later wasn't helping the pain or the problem which was getting worse. 247 dentist came to the rescue. So polite & helpful. They saw my husband the same evening and extracted the remaining tooth. Kind & professional service, he felt at ease and very safe 😷highly recommended. Thank you so much 😊🦷
