Lander has all but cured my fear of dentists! After years of uncomfortable or even painful visits to NHS dentists, I just gave up going. Unfortunately my teeth suffered for it, so I booked an appointment with Lander and my only regret was not doing it sooner! The ladies in reception are always welcoming and friendly, and the dental staff are patient and caring. I was a nervous wreck at first, but with the help of Mark, Yana and the nurses, my teeth and gums have never been healthier! There is still work to be done, as years of neglect can't be fixed overnight. But the treatments I've had so far have really helped with my self-confidence - and best of all, I no longer get anxiety over going to the dentist!

Very professional and friendly staff. I had my Invisalign treatment done here and it was such a pleasant experience. I was very opposed to getting my teeth straightened when I was younger as it scared me and I still had a little bit of that fear when I first went there. However, Mark explained everything to me clearly and answered any queries that I had, which was reassuring. The final result is exceptional and I can say that I am very pleased with it. Furthermore, they were very considerate of my financial situation and their flexibility really helped me out a lot. This exceeded my expectations. Thank you for everything! I had my first appointment with Kerry your Locum Hygienist and I must say I was very impressed with her level of care. She answered all my questions thoroughly and was very supportive. I had my first appointments with dentist & hygenist having recently moved to Truro. I found the dental check up with Andrew very good. The hygenist treatment with Hettie was excellent in terms of the practical work, but I would have preferred her approach to have been to offer advice rather than to instruct in terms of my teeth cleaning. I've signed up to Dental Plan B, having had a similar plan with my previous dentist but the latter was considerably cheaper for a similar deal (£18 pm rather than £25). I thought you managed the Covid situation very well, with the reception staff managing to stay friendly & good natured despite the problems it brings - thank you.

Although the high-tech machinery could not be used, I felt Tom did a good job with manual de-scaling. We associate fear and pain when going to the Dentist. There is something about this practice that is so personal and reassuring. Finished a full Invisalign treatment today. In my specific case, I had an option of extracting two teeth to better fit my previous extractions. I'm pleased with the options Mark gave and advice on the best route to take. The invisalign experience normalises quickly. You'll finish with an appreciation of how nice a clean mouth. Extractions, I could barely register. I finished with a fixed retainer as my lower teeth went through a lot of rotation and movement. I suggest asking if this would be required early and adding it to the total cost. For reference, I added an old photo with the set on. You could probably go the duration without people close to you even realising. Shocked a couple of people when I casually whipped some plastic out my mouth. :D

I had been having problems with my gums bleeding and thanks to the hygienist Rachel at Lander Dentist my teeth have been saved. She recommended that I go and see a gum specialist to undergo some specialised treatment. The treatment was carried out successfully and now I regularly see Rachel at Lander Dentist to ensure I am cleaning them properly. I can highly recommend the team here at the dentist and remain truly grateful to Rachel for being so proactive and managing to save my teeth.

I was 59 years of age before I plucked up the courage to do something about my teeth. They weren't too bad, but a long way from perfect, my bottom set were very crossed and uneven, and getting worse. I used my hand a lot when I smiled! I saw 4 dentists for advice before I settled on Mark Pimble. It's a big step and expensive so you want the best. He advised me to have braces top and bottom. I hated the thought, but he said I'd get a better result than Invisalign and all the other options. He was honest and straightforward about what to expect and very encouraging along the way. It took just six months to straighten them. I then had some veneers at the front, what a transformation! I have no doubt at all that I made the right choice in Mark, his skills are exceptional, his manner calm and reassuring. He's also a bit of a perfectionist too, so expect top notch results. I've seen some peoples teeth after treatment and you can tell they've had them done they look so false! With Mark you are assured of a natural beautiful smile. He really is the best. Oh by the way, I've stopped using my hand now when I smile!

After getting some consultations from other dentists I was recommended to go to Lander Dentistry by a friend. I am so happy I did. The practice is stunning and the girls working there are so friendly and welcoming. I was a little nervous but Mark Pimble is just amazing and put me at ease straight away and I was very excited at how good he promised he could make my teeth look (I told him I didn't want to look like Rylan!) and that promise he delivered. I'm 51 and my teeth looked 'tired' with amalgam fillings showing through the enamel meaning I'd really lost my smile. Mark took before and after photographs. I had crown work and some white fillings redone. I am just over the moon with the final appearance of my teeth. They look so natural I smile all the time and one of my children actually told me to stop smiling so much! Needless to say I've taken no notice & smile all the time.
