I'm in the process of having a course of treatment with dentist Mike and dental nurse Sophie. Mike has been amazing, explaining everything along the way and going through the different options of treatments available. Sophie and the rest of the team there are always very friendly and helpful. I am absolutely thrilled with the results of the treatment, which has far exceeded my expectations. I will now finally have the smile that I have always wanted.

I had the pleasure of having Michelle as my dentist with Mandy working alongside her. Michelle is just fantastic, she explained everything to me in great detail and was open to answering all of my questions too. She is very professional, and her kind, calming manner, makes you feel at ease. Pure Dental Health is clean, bright, with great decor. The staff are welcoming, with beaming smiles as soon as you walk through the door. They don't have a NHS contract but if you're looking for private care this is the place to go!

Had a one to one zoom meeting with Tania, she was brilliant made me feel at ease and welcome. Booked me in for an emergency appointment with graham and the lovely nurse who I can’t remember her name (sorry) As a very nervous patient they all looked after me and put my best interest first, listened to my concerns and asked what I’m scared of the dentist most and understood! I chose Pure Dental based on patient reviews and the inclusion on their website of how they considered the needs of anxious and nervous patients. The warm welcome and reassurance from the reception staff helped stop me from turning around and leaving even before I'd met my dentist. Dentist Michelle and dental assistant Mandy treated me with kindness, understanding and patience. I had not visited a dentist for over 10 years and was not only anxious but embarrassed and ashamed of my oral health. Michelle sensitively explained a treatment plan and reassured me that the treatment would not only improve my dental health but also my general confidence. Within the space of a week I have received treatment, including extractions, been fitted with a partial denture and have had my first appointment with dental hygienist Wiola and assistant Bex, who were both reassuring and understanding of my fears. I was quite anxious about visiting the dentist as I’ve not seen one for over a year and had a couple of issues with my teeth. All of the staff are very friendly and approachable, Mike the dentist was very reassuring and explained all the options to me and took his time to thoroughly examine my teeth and gums. Needless to say, I don’t think I’ll be as anxious on my next visit. Had another hygienist appointment on Thursday and once again Nicky was great. She explains everything to you very clearly and puts you at your ease. My teeth and guns have felt better!

I have extensive implants bridge work completed and I feel and look 10 years younger. It is extremely important that I care for my teeth to ensure that the health of the implants are maintained. Working with the hygienist to ensure that my twice daily routine keeps plaque and bacteria at bay. Supper pleased that the hygienist was very pleased with the condition of my implants. Here's hoping that I can progress to having the bottom set completed in 2023. Yet again a great hygienist visit at Pure Dental 12 May 2022 Amazing, after a pretty difficult 3 months of having a facelift, trip to Singapore, daughters wedding then all rounded off with a case of Covid I was dreading attending the hygienist. Yet again a brilliant and supportive hygienist visit, always leave feeling as if my teeth are sparkling clean.

I had a filling which was pain free and I still can't see which tooth was treated as it looks so much like my original tooth! The TV screen on the ceiling was a very good distraction too! It is so nice to find somewhere that makes you feel comfortable whilst having dental treatment. Every time I have been to Pure Dental in Truro I have had a lovely experience (didn't know that was possible at the dentist). My Dentist Graham explained everything clearly and was reassuring when I expressed I was slightly nervous. The fillings he has done for me look exactly like teeth...You wouldn't know I had fillings! I have also seen Dental Therapist Jessie for a hygiene appointment and cannot rate her highly enough. She was really gentle, reassuring and gave me some good tips for taking better care of my teeth and gums. The reception staff are also lovely. So friendly and welcoming. Initially I was concerned about the cost, but actually it's so worth it comes to your smile.

I had made a appointment with the receptionist for my elderly mum, first the receptionist was very polite and helpful, as my mum was not sure if the dentist would be able to help. My mum is elderly and disabled so I needed a car parking space, no problem she booked a slot outside also it was a ramp access, perfect. When we got to her first appointment, it was very clean, modern and all staff so lovely which put you at ease before she even got into the dentist chair. Mum had a dentist called Graham, he explained to mum, don’t like to say but mum is deaf even wearing hearing aids , he put mum at ease and explained everything what her plan should be, so we have booked for February to start the dentistry. Mum feels very confident in Graham and we can’t wait for the end result. To be continued.

I didn't have a dentist and woke the Saturday before Christmas with an agonising infection in a tooth that has played me up for years! Spent most of the morning trying to find a dentist that would fit me in before Christmas. Rang Pure dental after many others.. Well they were amazing a fantastic reception lady, sympathetically booked me an appointment for that very afternoon, even though I was not registered with them! I am a nervous dental patient and have to say Michelle and her assistant were just exceptional! I was extremely anxious and somewhat embarrassed but made to feel completely at ease. The care and compassion showed was second to none and without going into detail, the lengths taken to look after me and sort me out before Christmas were exceptional!! I have now registered with Pure dental and I cannot thank the reception lady, Michelle and her assistant enough you were all amazing. Today was the final day of my teeth straightening - my lower brace was taken off 2 weeks ago and today got the lower plastic retainer to wear at night [The upper brace had come off 3 weeks previously]. The total length of time wearing braces was just under 8 months. During this time I must have attended around 14 times so got a very good feel for the place. The layout inside is excellent with great attention to detail. The waiting room is relaxed and comfortable and it never feels crowded or hectic. Reception staff are attentive, professional and friendly. Nic looked after my teeth with his assistant Michelle and although wearing braces is awkward and uncomfortable at times I was always made to feel welcome and given full information about what was going on and how it was going to be done. You can tell that both Nic and Michelle both enjoy working here and I felt they hit the perfect tone of being personable yet professional. Nic put maximum effort into achieving the best outcome for me and I was very happy with the results. I shall certainly be sticking to this practice for any future checkups and dental work. Choosing a dental surgery isn't easy and aside from recommendation first impressions really matter. I need a serious course of work done so went to visit a few places both locally and in London... My first impression of Pure Dental Health was the warm and welcoming smile of Kate on reception, then I met Laura who talked me through the options, and then on to meet Mark, who is going to be doing my work. I feel safe, in good hands and know that the work will be carried out by passionate professionals and will update this review as work progresses, but so far I have nothing but praise for all the staff I have met. I'll keep this updated in a while... UPDATE. 6 months on, and I have just had the second part of my treatment done. As before, there is a genuine warmth to the welcome, and couple that with the professionalism shown by all, especially Mark, and one cannot help but feel in safe hands. I was especially touched by the fact that despite the 6 month gap since I was last there, I felt recognized by all the staff I saw, and I doubt many had seen the patient list - was I that badly behaved last time..? Many thanks, and totally recommended.

Alan the dentist treated me wonderfully. Very kindly and patient. Shortly afterwards I was out again with antibiotics and a plan to sort everything and to keep the offending tooth rather than automatically extracting it. Absolutely fantastic surgery and staff. Going back pre-lockdown was a little worrying but I had issues with a tooth that I needed help with. I cannot even begin to explain how fantastic the staff are and how meticulous their safety and hygiene procedures are. They have a new procedure for entering the clinic which involves a temperature check and a mask and shoe covers plus hand sanitiser. My dentist Alan is just incredible at ensuring the best level of care whilst wearing full PPE kit. I am totally confident that my treatment plan is in the best hands and that my safety as well as the staffs safety is of the highest priority at all times. They are beyond thorough and after moving from London to Cornwall and worrying I wouldn’t find a practise I could feel confident with I would say without doubt this is the best practise I have ever been too. Thank you to all the team especially Alan for delivering the highest level of customer service and care.

Friendly, professional team of dentists who are each specialists in their own field. Nice modern practice with 3D imaging on site and parking right outside. Being able to watch video of yr choice during treatment is a welcome distraction, not that you need it as it’s all pretty pain/stress free anyway here. I’m a new customer here as my previous dentist retired but very happy with the treatment and will be having an implant soon and have faith in them to do a great job. It’s not cheap - no dentists are - but if feels like you are getting advice from a highly experienced team which is what really counts.

Last year I was told by the local NHS emergency Dentist that I needed a molar removed . I mentioned at the time I was contemplating an implant as a replacement and they were good enough to give me a temporary filling and tell me that the dentist who can do that work prefers to do the removal so as to be sure it's done correctly for the following work. I made an appointment with great ease through the cheerful and professional reception staff and met with the friendly consultant for forms to fill and sign and x rays to be checked. The time for the removal came around within days and I wasn't sure what to expect having spoken to others who had bad experiences with their dentists. Speaking to Mark put me at ease and can honestly say I didn't feel a thing, great respect for the man. After receiving a full explanation and a detailed report of the procedure and costing break down I went for the implant and very glad I did. A few months later I'm the proud owner of a new tooth thanks to his skill and professionalism. If I still have your attention I would also like take this opportunity to thank the hygiene team for their humour and skill against the odds. I would just like to say what an amazing service I have received from Pure Dental. They have gone above and beyond what they said they would achieve. I was not expecting the transformation to be this good. I had enamel bonding applied to my front teeth to enhance my smile (basically like white filling material). I had been self conscious over the last few years due to enamel erosion on my teeth and this was the least invasive way of fixing it without veneers. I am 31 and to have veneers so soon would have been a drastic step so I was advised to opt for this method. I am so glad that I decided to do this and I am amazed at the results. I also went for the evolution whitening to enhance the overall effect, which I am sure you will agree, really tops it off. I also forgot to mention that I had to have clear aligners for around 9 months before this procedure to ensure that their was a big enough gap (bite) to allow for the filling material. This was actually something that I needed to have done anyway to ensure I kept my teeth for as long as possible as my front teeth were actually collapsing inwards. The whole process has been smooth and the staff are lovely, warm and welcoming. I cannot recommend Mark and his team enough. Thank you Pure Dental for giving me the smile I always wanted! I cannot stop grinning!

After losing an incisor front tooth and breaking the other 15 years ago at the age of 20 in a car accident i had a root canal with a crown and a cap under the NHS. For the last 15 years i have never been happy with teeth and didn’t smile or like photos taken showing my teeth. After developing a root abscess during the first lockdown my NHS dentist was unable to help and advised removing the tooth but would be unable to replace due to restrictions in lockdown leaving me toothless. Suggesting that i find a private dentist who specialises in endodontics. Pure dental have been a one in a lifetime find and I have been blown away by Graham and the teams dedication to getting a great result for me. I ended up needing two re do root canals as the previously capped tooth was also infected and two crowns. I was a nervous patient but have now got over my fear. I never thought my teeth could look so good and am on cloud nine with the result. James @ The Lab in Penryn who made the crowns went the extra mile to see me in person to make sure the colour was exactly right being front teeth. I cannot thank everyone enough from the welcoming lovely reception staff, dental nurses and Graham. Thank you for making my dream come true of having a normal smile. My initial consultation was with Tania, one of the experienced dental nurses. On my arrival I was greeted very warmly and made to feel relaxed and comfortable. Tania listened to my concerns and was a mine of information. I felt I learned more during an hour with Tania than I have in a life time! Suggested potential treatment options were explained so clearly, and at no time did I feel under pressure. Tania then took a series of photographs. Once these were on the screen I could point out certain areas that bother me cosmetically. I felt that Tania was very interested and motivated and I was filled with confidence, and a degree of excitements that my problems could be dealt with. In addition, I felt that Tania was planning on assigning a dentist to me who best suited me and my requirements. We discussed my financial situation and I never felt as though I would be encouraged to spend more and more money; in fact it was clear that my treatment would be prioritised and could proceed at my pace . I did wonder if a private practice would use the ‘hard sell’ but it couldnt be further from the truth! The consultation finished with me feeling as though I wanted to start treatment straight away, and I was given an appointment with a dentist the very next day! Thank you Tania, what a credit you are to Pure Dental! My second visit, the next day, was for a consultation with Alan, a very highly qualified dentist with a wealth of experience and expertise, but extremely down to earth and friendly. Alan took extensive X-rays and photographs, and did a thorough check of my mouth, but I was comfortable at all times. Alan explained to me that he would make a plan of action, dealing first with matters of a more pressing nature, and progressing at my pace to eventually include some cosmetic procedures . I was given a date for my first procedure, the removal of a fragment of a broken tooth which causes me discomfort and showed a degree of infection on the x Ray. Such was my confidence in Alan, he could have pulled the tooth out there and then, I have absolutely no fear. That is really saying something! Anyone who has a fear of going to the dentist, or is unhappy with their teeth, don’t hesitate to visit Pure Dental, it is a very different experience! Regards Christine Fox
