My daughter broke a front upper tooth clean in half whilst we were on holiday and Nina managed to fit her in the next day and did an amazingly skilled job of re-creating the missing half of her tooth in less than 30mins, whilst also improving a slight overlap with the other front tooth. She and her nurse Jess were very friendly, professional and reassuring, we can’t thank them enough.

Nita was amazing! Had emergency appointment there today widom tooth removal, I recommend them 100 percent. I have anxiety but the girls were quick, swift and efficient I was in and out in a flash! Thankyou so much ❤️xx

Great practice, easy to find and lovely dentist. Not quite 5* as we found the receptionist to be very abrupt and uncaring. My partner was in a significant amount of pain and she made a couple of sarcastic comments.

OMG !! What an ease I felt going into that positive and very humours atmosphere. Almost completely distracted from the tooth they were currently ripping from my jaw at the time. I had to travel here 54 miles for a dental emergency. Which in the end resulted in two of my teeth pulled due to a infection. Nine and Kelly were amazing with me as I was really nervous. Made the experience as calm as it could be. And pretty views aswell.

Came in today for an emergency appointment extraction, I have quite bad dental phobia and have never had such a pleasant dental experience in my life! Fast, professional, put me at ease the whole way through. Can’t recommend enough especially if you’re a scaredy cat

Via my Denplan insurance I was able to have some temporary emergency work carried out whilst away on holiday by Nina at very short notice, infact I rang Denplan at 11.00am and was booked in at 2.30pm the same day with my crown refixed by 3.00pm, amazing service all-round. It's always a worry when you see a Dentist you have never seen, but those worries soon went away when Nina started work, a very caring and gentle Dentist who puts you at ease, I would recommend this practice to anyone and also the services of Denplan. Nina carried out all the paperwork so I didn't need to pay and reclaim for my treatment. I was very lucky to have Denplan and to have been directed to a great dentist.

This is a superb dental practise. Natalie carried out a complicated root canal treatment with the utmost of professionalism and care, especially as I am a nervous patient. Nina and her team are most welcoming and i would highly recommend them

Very good service, well dental done a root canal twice on my tooth and it failed both times and advised it had to be removed, a client who is a dentist referred me to St.mawes dental. The procedure was completely different and I haven't had an issue with it since, I have also had other work done at short notice and found them to be very professional.

Nina is a highly proficient dentist surrounded by a good team offering a skilled and very professional service. I have an unusual underlying condition which many medical professionals have never come across but Nina knew all about it and has subsequently looked after me in an exemplary fashion through some complex dental surgery. On top of that my husband has "a mouth full of old amalgam" (his words..!) and Nina's pragmatic approach and sensitivity (and honesty) towards him and his dubious old fillings is very kind and patient - she patches him up when necessary and never ever 'upsells' - a refreshing change in this day and age. We would recommend Nina and St Mawes Dental highly, she is a worthy successor to the brilliant Roger Metcalfe.
