I have been with Richard at the Dental academy from the start of my journey with my teeth. I originally came to Richard a few years ago with issues with my teeth moving from having braces younger and not maintaining the up keep of them.. Richard was excellent and talked me through everything and went above and beyond to offer guidance and help and throughout my journey with my teeth he did everything he possibly could to ensure I was happy with the end result.. once I had straightened my teeth I then went back to Richard for a composite filler procedure which he has done superb! He has made me feel so happy and content with my teeth again and went to so much efforts to ensure I was happy! He has made coming to a private dentist a pleasurable experience and nothing is too much of an ask! I now would not go to another dentist after my experience with this one. The place is lovely and all of the reception are so friendly and kind and willing to help! The safety measurements they have put in place for Covid19 are also excellent they have full PPE and all the correct things in place to follow the government guidelines that make you feel at ease at every appointment you have. But I just wanted to say a massive thanks to Richard for all his work on my teeth and I will enjoy my routine checks with him and feel comfortable to ask any questions in the near future. 5 stars for this dentist! :) love Carly.

Painless!! I had to have a filling replaced today. There’s always a bit of worry that about having any dental treatment and wondering if it will hurt. I can honestly say I didn’t feel a thing! Totally painless injection. Smooth and efficient treatment from Richard and Alicia and excellent communication throughout. I could’ve fallen asleep. And (bonus) much more relaxing than home schooling!

I've been petrified of dentists all my life until I attended here under the c/o Kevin Dobbs. I can't believe to this day that I sat for 5 hours having dental implants fitted. After a 2 hour break I sat there for a further two hours. I had the top set done first and returned some weeks later to have the bottom ones fitted ( this suited me financially) I always smiled with my mouth shut - not anymore I'm like a flippin Cheshire cat. At no time or since that experience one year ago did I ever feel ANY pain. I now waltz in there for my check ups and to see the hygienist and am no longer petrified of dentists! A miracle. Had implants in November cant say how pleased I am to have my smile back.Was unsure as yes you are spending a lot of money but had 3 meetings with Jan and at no time was their any pressure . After 50 years of crowns posts and dentures I am so so glad I went ahead. Jan Kevin and John were all brilliant with me and I really cant thank them enough. I’d just like to say a huge thank you to the dental academy team! I had Invisalign treatment in the lead up to my wedding after considering it for years. I couldn’t fault my treatment and was looked after amazingly from start to finish by all members of staff. I also had some tooth whitening once my Invisalign treatment was complete which helped me achieve the perfect smile for my wedding day! So pleased with the final result and can’t recommend the dental academy enough!

I have just started my treatment so far they have been fantastic. I am very nervous and they have put me at ease and one of my biggest steps was actually getting to the point were I am actually in the dentist chair and not shaking like a leaf!! Big tick. So far so good #happydays

Richard Tones is the best dentist around. Yes, the dental academy is expensive but you get what you pay for. I have come from the cheaper 'Jill cooper dental care' in Lymm and the difference in quality and service is vast. I think teeth are something you should skimp on and the saying buy cheap pay twice couldn't be truer in my case. Will be staying at the dental academy.

I have recently completed a Caci course. I recommend having this but if you can have the full ten treatments to receive the maximum benefit. Also, Suanne is a delight!!! She is such a warm and friendly person while being thoroughly professional. I will certainly continue to go to her for my treatments. Jacky 😊

I had an implant put in by one of the dentists at the dental academy following a road traffic accident. I had lost my front tooth and the dentists were very quick in putting in a temporary implant so that I looked normal. The real implant looks great and I am very happy with it!

At my hygienist appointment yesterday the dental hygienist assistant Dan was amazing, its the first time ever that I haven't had to stop the hygienist to swallow or cough.
