Like many people I hate going to the dentist but here at Cassio road they seem to understand that and have developed a calming atmosphere. The receptionists / dental nurses are friendly, efficient and patient. Well done ladies. My dentist is the kindest, gentlest person you could want to meet, even with a dental drill in her hand!

Joyti who is the dentist I see is always very welcoming she listens to what you tell her and always does a very good job, The receptionists call the day before to check you remember your appointment which would be helpful if you were forgetful and they are very efficient and friendly. very pleased with the service.

Been with the clinic almost from the time we have moved to Watford and no complaints so far. The staff is really good and helful. Today when we needed an Emergency appointment although they were fully booked for the day( and I called in late) they could still accomodate to see my 8yr old who was in pain. Have been using this practise for many years, always had a good experience. The staff are always friendly and polite , the dentist and hygienist are always gentle! Sadly, I can see why there are so many people out in the world with bad teeth as it’s never cheap and, although, it’s an NHS dentist, it’s still very expensive. I would like to thank and express my gratitude for the wonderful first class experience i received recently. I had my gold crown cemented back in place but it was raised too high for my bite. During the night i had a couple of panic attacks and couldnt cope with it. I called the practice and the receptionist was very kind and got me an emergency appointment that morning. When i arrived i was very tearful but a young lady there showed such kindness, when i had to do a few things on my phone and got a little lost, she took my phone and did it for me. I was called up and saw a lovely young man and the assistant.... he took a little off the crown but i knew i needed more. He called the senior dentist who came in and was absolutely amazing! He introduced himself and slowly took little bits more off the crown with me biting on the tape everytime. I was given a mirror and talked through every step..... time was no issue and the attention was second to none. Lots of humour and smiles and i was totally relaxed. I even overheard the dentist putting back a client as this was important. When i went downstairs the same young lady saw me and asked if i was okay? I said "these are tears of relief and gratitude" I walked out a new woman with a huge weight off my shoulders! I would like to thank the A team for this incredible experience. Treatment and service are excellent. However, I do object to payment in advance, sometimes weeks in advance. I am aware of the problems in getting paid, but I have been a patient for 42 years and have no record of being difficult! It is surely not impossible to differentiate between patients like me and new patients or those with a poor record.

It was my first appointment at this practice and although staff were friendly I felt that the checkup was rushed and no history was taken. There was no cleaning done at all (I thought a minor clean was included in the nhs charge?) but I was advised to see the hygienist (at a further cost)

I have been attending this dentists for around 25 years now, the dentist and hygienist I use are second to none, efficient, polite, friendly and most importantly, I completely trust them. they removed my fear of dentists a long time ago. The reception staff are also great. On the negative side, I do not like having to pay for treatment months in advance of the actual appointment, I have never missed a single appointment in 25 years and this approach is not an incentive to make me attend, more like being a penalty for being a loyal customer...

The quality of treatment has always been expertly carried out and prior to treatment takes place, all the options are clearly explained to me. I was living outside of the UK for over 2 years recently but still remained a patient of this dentist. Quality!

I consider myself fortunate to be a patient at the Cassio Road Dental Practice. The receptionists are friendly, professional and helpful, and the dentists and dental nurses, superb. I recommend this practice most highly.

I have been with this surgery for 48 yrs and have received good treatment. As such I am saddened at its present set up. Due to some bad debts by the few, now all patients have to pay for their treatment up front. This approach likens what was a very customer friendly approach to of a low cost airline where money takes precedent ahead of service. I wanted to book my annual check up and was asked to pay £40 a whole year in advance. To truly maintain a strong business you need your customers to do 3 R’s: Remain, Repurchase and Recommend. In view of this policy I would not recommend this practice. Whoever thought this was a good idea is not a true asset to the business and only has ££££ in mind.

I hadn't been to see a dentist for years, and inevitably ended up with a big hole in a molar and needed a root canal. Fortunately I joined their NHS list and have Dylan Patel as my dentist. Dylan and his team were great from the start - he talked me through options and costs etc (since the crown after the root canal was private as I wanted a white one), and then eased me into the treatments. His work has been excellent - he swiftly cleared my troublesome roots, kept me informed all along the way and has a great "chair-side" manners. Reception staff are perfectly fine in my experience - helpful and quick to get bookings arranged and payments taken. Personally - quicker the better! Will be coming back for another hygiene clean, and this time more regular check-ups :)

I went it for my first appointment today. Dr. Hamish was very friendly and was immediately able to identify the problem areas. I 100% recommend him. However, I was a bit disappointed with the assistant. The first thing you do before asking a patient to open their mouth is to put a bib, which she did only after I was dripping- so embarrassing. Please make sure you have proper SOP in place.

Today 20/11/21 I saw the Hygenist again Diana . I had recently had surgery and I didn’t realise just how emotional I was inside until Diane was so so kind and caring that I broke down and started crying because she was so nice and had such a warm heart , that it brought all my sadness around losing my parents and my trauma around my recent surgery . She cared so much and noticed I was crying . We talked about it and she was so supportive , being very gentle also as I had recently had abdominal surgery . She lowered the chair very gently and was very reassuring . I was in no dental pain at all whilst she was cleaning my teeth and gums .she is a very warm hearted person and genuinely cares . It’s very rare that such emotions come out as I normally hide them or they are buried deep down . Diana is excellent and I would thoroughly recommend her .

I have been 'seen to' by the very wonderful Dr Chirag Patel on rare occasions over the last decade or so. He is so calming, explains everything well and does his unenviable job very well. Well, I don't know about painless, as those gum injections I find extremely painful, but once that's over, the rest IS painless. I just had a troublesome wisdom tooth out with no trouble at all. I would recommend him to anyone for general dentistry. Thank you Chirag, I'm almost looking forward to seeing you again but not too soon , I hope 😊. I managed to get an emergency appointment for early the next day as I was in pain on & off just by telephoning them. It's a little bit pricey as I have to go privately (no chance of getting treatment on the slightly subsidised NHS these days!) otherwise I would have awarded 5* 😁.

I had Dr. Pyae Aung for my root canal and he did a great job considering my tooth had a massive hole. Even my orthadontist complemented his work when he saw my teeth since my tooth was so bad before! He speaks very politely and always does a great job. One of the best dentists I've had in a long time! As his work is so delicate and superb in coming days he will have no time off or holidays but good for us patients. However the reception lady was rude so I have to book my next appointment on phone.

I visited the dentist for the first time in 20 years last week due to problems. The Dentist Dr Gohil explained what needed to be done (root canal) I had the work done 9 hours ago and it was truly painless, certainly not as dentists used to be. The local anesthetic has worn off and there is no discomfort. I have a few other bits that need sorting out but it won't involve the churning stomach I had this morning. I was very nervous as had not been to a dentist in over 8 years. booked in with Jyoti Puri-Chadha, a young and very understanding dentist. She examined me, worked out what treatment was needed and talked to me about my fears etc in order to try to understand my anxiety, making me feel comfortable and able to undergo treatment. All the staff I have met have been friendly and helpful and I'm now proud of my teeth and don't have the anxiety that I used to feel when going to the dentist. I am so pleased I went to this surgery.
