Had an excellent experience with the amazing Dentist Kirk who was incredibly kind gentle and sensitive. I find visiting the dentist normally very traumatic but he really couldn’t have been more empathetic and understanding. Then I went straight through to see Laura the hygienist she also was calm kind explained everything she was doing. She reassured me and put me at ease! I’ve never had such kindness before when attending the dentist. And I thank you both very much.

I went to my appointment feeling very nervous and hoping I would feel no pain. Stan Lee was absolutely brilliant! He explained the procedure step by step and what to expect. Before I knew what had happened the tooth was extracted within 20 minutes with no pain at all. The only sensation was a slight feeling of pressure on the tooth which he predicted would happen. He was totally brilliant and I highly recommend anyone needing a tooth extraction to go to him.

It was super-efficient, clean and well presented. But in all the many e-mails sent to me prior to the appointment, none mentioned "not taking prescribed blood thinners", and none stated the post-surgical requirements that were verbally stated as I was lying horizontal in the chair. So much information was given out prior to the appointment but none mentioned these very important facts.

I needed to get an appointment with Pearl straight away, as my Crown had broken. I rang at lunchtime and managed to get in at 3:15pm the same afternoon. Very efficent staff were friendly the dentist Stan Lee explained what he was going to do asked if I was ok with it. Put me at ease as having a tooth out is not a thing to look forward to gave me an injection and reassured me about the procedure it was over and done by ten minutes I would certainly recomend him as they are not my usual dentist but if I had to have any thing like a tooth taken out or anything more complex I would ask to be refered to pearl dental studios as I have had no pain since it was removed and took his advice as to what to do to after the tooth extraction.

Dr Stan Lee and Joanna were amazing. Never had a tooth out by local aesthetic; had one out when I was 6 under gas - horrible; had my molars out age 12ish under general - woke up traumatised and punched a nurse; had a molar out under sedation age 40 something - horrible experience with jagged bits of tooth left sticking out. Had a wisdom tooth out aged 51 under local - never felt a thing and Dr Lee was cool, confident and professional. Left me feeling that he’s the only guy I ever want to take my teeth out … if I have to have any more … hopefully not …

Although I have had extractions before with no problems, I was nervious as the tooth had a large cavity (only discovered during a routine X-Ray - Thanks!). Doctor Stan Lee performed a tooth extraction for my 90 year old Mum. He was very gentle, explained exactly what he was doing and made us both feel like she was in good hands. There was no pain afterwards, probably because the tooth was drilled to make it easier to remove, rather than just tugging it out. The advice on aftercare was very useful. No problems at all. I just had my upper wisdom tooth extraction here with Dr stan Lee, I had worked myself up with nerves and was so anxious about the whole thing but now the tooth has gone there really was no need. Stan was so calming he really put me at ease. He was extremely informative explaining the whole procedure and aftercare. My tooth was literally gone within 10 minutes! I cant express how lovely and pleased I am with the service at the Pearl Dental. I had my wisdom tooth extracted on the 20/05/21 and I was so nervous about having this procedure. The nurse Tara was absolutely lovely and done her best to try and relax me and make me feel comfortable. Dr Stan Lee performed the procedure and he was excellent he explained everything clearly to me and ensured I understood and throughout the procedure carried on making sure I was okay. I was so shocked when he told me that he had extracted the wisdom tooth within 12 minutes. Ive had no trouble after. I phoned at 8.30 in the morning and was answered almost immediately. After details were taken I was given an emergency appointment for 10.45 the same morning. I was seen very quickly and was examined and x-rayed and treatment was started with antibiotics as I was found to have an infection around a tooth root which had been giving me some discomfort. I had a large molar taken out on 23 Feb - by Dr Stan Lee and his assistant Jo . First class treatment ! Dr Stan Lee and assistant Jo made the whole process as pain free and informative as possible . The numbing injections were over in seconds . It was a little uncomfortable having the molar pulled, as you would expect but no pain ! I was pleasantly surprised . I’ve been a patient at Pearl Dental Studio for a number of years and have always been impressed by the forward thinking nature of the team. Even prior to Covid it was always reiterated by Dr Stan Lee how important hygiene was in the surgery and this continues today with even more enhancements. Payment when booking an appointment makes complete sense to me. It avoids unnecessary contact during a visit, and, I’m sure, reduces the number of missed appointments. You only have to pay once so it doesn’t really matter when. I would like to see though a clearer answerphone message and an option to leave a message throughout the day. In terms of the wider experience it’s always slick, efficient and informative. Thank you.

I was referred to Pearl Dental because my own Dentist could not do the extraction required on a root canal where the filling had fallen out after bad decay. I was allowed to enter the reception and had to sanitise my hands before being allowed into the surgery. I was asked to stand a distance away from Dr Stan Lee and he asked me some questions to verify the treatment I was having and to verify who I was and some other personal details. The Clinic is very clean and Modern and I was quite nervous as it was quite a big tooth to have extracted and there was not much left of it above the Gum. So I was asked to sit in the chair and although nervous there was a calm feeling about the room. I can only say that the treatment I received was exceptional and was asked a couple of times after feeling a bit of pressure on the gums if I was ok, I would definitely recommend this Dental Clinic after my first visit and would not hesitate to return if needed for any other dental treatment. My own dentist requested a appointment for me with Pearl Dental. I received the appointment quickly and with out any problems. I received an email with online forms to fill in that I did and sent back. How ever one the day of my appointment they could not find the reply I had sent and was questioned if I had done so, and was made to feel a bit like I hadn’t done my homework.Because of the Covid 19 and restrictions before going into the clinic I was given instructions on what to do and of coarse wearing a mask I did as I was told and happy to do so. But once in the dentist room I was made to stand in the corner and needing to put my phone and glasses down on the counter top was told very abruptly not to touch anything and I had to put my cardigan, phone and glasses on the floor. A chair in that corner would have been most welcome. I was told not to talk and being anxious and worried talking would have relaxed me more and taken my mind off the procedure. The dentist himself was very clear and tried his best to reassure me as I was more than a little anxious. The nurse was wonderful and the few words I was able to say was met with kindness. After the procedure was done with little discomfort and was over very quickly. I was again made to stand in the corner for two minutes and told off if I took a step away being told the nurse has to clean. I understand and am happy to follow the rules because of Covid 19 but think more mind is needed for people who struggle with anxiety and perhaps a chair in the corner. Having said all that I was happy with the way I was told what was going to happen and the speed at witch my procedure was done.

I have been attending this dental practice for about ten years and the quality of care and service is like going to a private dentistry under a NHS banner. I highly recommended this dentist practice and have done so to my workplace, family and friends over many years, all of whom say they receive exceptional service. Dr Stan Lee has saved many of my teeth from previous poor dentistry work and I feel my teeth have been given a second chance in life, I can't even remember the last time i felt tooth ache. I also visited the hygienist at this practice and that was extremely comfortable, totally not at all like the horror stories i hear of people saying it really hurts- i actually enjoyed having a good deep clean. The practice currently has very good covid-19 protocols above and beyond the government legislation which provides a very safe environment for receiving treatment, and has undergone recent installation of brand new top of the range air conditioning and ventilation system. This dentist practice has restored my confidence in dentistry, and even if treatment is needed, the dread of it hurting has been truly removed from my experience, as in all the time I've been attending this dentist, as I say for almost ten years, the treatment has never hurt once. The additional measures in place for Covid reasons were all explained as was the surgery involved. The pre appointment information provided by email was very clear regarding the surgery, recovery time, possible side effects etc.

It is not always clear what is required of the patient but the practitioners are efficient.The treatments I've had have always been very good. I was contacted before the appointment online and filled out some forms, I filled out some forms in the reception as well as seeing a slightly scary list of possible side effects. The dentist was running 30 minutes late but I had waited over a month for the appointment so no problem for me. Once called to the dentist's room I was asked to sign a couple more forms. Stan asked me Do you know why you are here today? Which I though was a good question. I started asking Stan a few questions but he said you can ask after the treatment. The most painful part of the treatment was the injection for the local anaesthetic, but not very painful really. The tooth extraction was done in a few minutes seemingly in a competent manner- after 1 week I have had no pain or problems. The most laughable thing was after the treatment I was told I should keep my mouth my shut to press a gauze swab on the wound and told no talking for a least half an hour. So any questions I had could not be spoken. I was given an information sheet on post operative care. Overall as happy as you can be with having a tooth extraction. Hopefully I wont be going back for any more.

Dr Stan Lee is one of the most amazing dentists I have had the pleasure of visiting. I was extremely nervous to have a tooth extracted after being referred to him by my own doctor but he had a very good way of calming me down. The injections were painful (as to be expected) but once my mouth was numb, it took him less than 30 seconds to remove my wisdom tooth. I was gobsmacked at his skill and when the numbness wore off, I didn't have to take a single pain killer. I believe that this was because my friends and and family were all praying for me and God always answers prayer.

She did better work then when I was under sedation. I saw Helen for a hygienist appointment. The whole process was smooth and I couldn’t have felt safer. She greeted me at the door and took my temperature. I used the hand sanitiser then went up for my appointment. Helen has invested in high end PPE which means she can use the ultrasonic scaler and polish. My teeth felt great afterwards. The practice has a one way policy so after my appointment I was directed to the exit at the back of the practice. I had been called by reception the day before for prepayment so there was no interaction with reception (which had a huge Perspex screen around it) meaning there was increased protection for everyone. The price was very reasonable especially considering the increased time that has to be considered either side of the appointment for cleaning. The practice was clean, bright and modern. Highly recommended.

I recently had an appointment with Laura, the hygienist. She made me feel welcomed and explained each aspect of the procedure. It was a good experience. Unlike my last encounter with my dentist. One goes in to the surgery, sits in the chair, he askes if there is a problem, one says no. He then starts his machine and performs a "scale and polish". When finished, he says "all ok" and you leave. One feels like being on a conveyor belt, "quick in and out". He never used to behave like this. I will say that his Orthodontic work is very good.
