I hated having dentistry work, until I discovered Strand Dental in Worthing. I needed two crowns, and was terrified of what the procedure would entail. Alex Thornton is a superb dentist. My experience as his patient has been an absolute pleasure. The results of my new smile has restored my confidence. I genuinely enjoy going to the dentist now. His dental nurse Eden, is wonderful. I highly recommend them.

I have been a patient of Toby's for several years and started my Invisalign course with him in April 2021 and recently completed it. Toby explained the whole process to me and I had regular check-ups throughout the treatment which reassured me. After my treatment ended I also did a course of whitening and had bonding on several teeth - I am so happy with the finished result. Can't recommend Strand Dental enough. All so welcoming and professional including receptionists, hygienists, dental nurses and dentists. Jamie, Toby and Vicky offer such a personal service and have gone above and beyond to put me at ease whilst working amazingly on my teeth. I can’t recommend the Strand Dental highly enough and in particular Jamie and his team. After an awful experience at my previous dental practice I was left with severe anxiety around the health of my teeth and visiting the dentist. Jamie has been incredible and has calmed me through numerous false alarms and been nothing but reassuring and caring through out. Today I’ve just had an hours worth of drilling and filling (started with 3/4 injections - I say 3 or 4 as I didn’t feel one of them!) I can honestly say I didn’t feel a thing and I knew I was in good hands! I will never stop singing his praises and have moved all my family to the Strand Dental.

A profoundly positive and transformative re - route in my experience of dentistry ! I'm a very , very anxious patient ( traumatic dental and medical interventions as a child that I've let brew... ) and I can say with my hand on my heart this is the first time I've felt genuinely safe and HEARD when re starting treatment. It is one thing to be a talented practitioner, but to also have a skill you can't teach - to be kind, patient and hold space for someone who finds sometimes the simplest procedures very daunting - is a wonderful gift. Alex has been tremendously kind and I am both excited and emotional to finally be in a good place and looking forward to fixing my teeth. it feels like I have the power and support to do it now. everyone at the practise is so welcoming and I had my first ever REALLY GREAT hygienist visit in august , where I felt so uplifted afterwards it was a little sad to hide my smile behind my mask walking home ! The first time in my life treating my teeth has felt like self care - I am so grateful. Thanks to all of you, there aren't words enough for what a difference this has made for me x

I don’t usually leave reviews BUT Sandra Forde has just completed some fairly lengthy dental treatment on me, I am delighted with the results to say the least, Sandra and her nurse Abbey were kind and patient and I would recommend anyone to go to Sandra, I’m a nervous dental patient but they put me at ease straight away and I almost forgot I was in the chair!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!

After 5 years of expensive yet questionable dentists I stumbled upon Dr Peter Brown at Strand Dental, and I’m very glad I did. An extremely good dentist with a nice demeanour, willingness to listen to any and all concerns and all round professional. I would travel from London to come back to this dentist as I have utter faith in his work. Many thanks Dr. I can now smile without embarrassment.

Astonishing! I just had a tooth removed and they managed to numb me without me feeling anything more than the tiniest scratch. The numbing process used to be like being hit in the gob with a roofing nail but this was quite incredible. The surgeon then managed to get the tooth out in under a minute, considering this thing was at the back of my jaw and already broken I consider him to be nothing less than a genius. VERY IMPRESSED.
