Quick efficient service regarding the fact you are sent the forms via email before the appointment. Reception staff efficient and friendly. The dentist I have seen Dr Chagger is pleasant and professional and does not judge when teeth are in a mess like mine. Personally I have had no problems with this practice so far.

Although this will have been my penultimate treatment as an NHS patient, I was very pleased at the whole process. I walked in on a Wednesday afternoon with a broken tooth complaint, and was seen on the next afternoon. The tooth was xray’d and subsequently removed (options were given, but I dismissed them). The Dentist is very personable and professional, and the tooth removal was a very painless affair. The receptionists were also pleasant.

Very happy with this dental surgery. Polite and helpful. Good communication via email and text. Skilled dental staff who are very thorough and give clear explanations of what they are going to do and answer any questions. I've had a filling and my husband had a crown, and we've both seen the hygienist - all done to very high standard. We hoped to become NHS patients eventually but the surgery are struggling to recruit NHS dentists at present. However, this seems to be the case everywhere at the moment.

I have had Invisilign with Sanjay who has been amazing, he has made my teeth look perfect I love them!! Would recommend him to anyone. I’ve had 2 different ladies who have dealt with my appointments etc, they have been super helpful and are so lovely. Sadly the reception staff have been so rude every time I’ve been (baring in mind I’ve been going every 4 weeks since January). Wouldn’t recommend if it was for the actual practice itself. Especially when paying thousands of pounds you would expect a good service all the way throughout each appointment.

I have been a patient at PERFECT SMILE CLINIC for a number of years now,before covid restrictions and after as well.I was, initially a NHS patient at their clinic,but on recieving notification that they can no longer do NHS dental work due to drastic depletion of staff at this clinic,I decided to join a Patient Plan.Its just under £14 a month,and it means I can still get my teeth attended to without the hassle of checking out further dentists.I have always been satisfied with the treatment I receive at the clinic and am just relieved to be able to go back again to restart dental checks.My only gripe,( which has nothing to do with the treatment I receive) is that the clinic really is on the other side of York to where I live.So,Because I can't drive,I need my husband to take me and bring me back.Before I retired,4 years ago,I would always cycle up to Boroughbridge Road,but it's become a bit too far for me to cycle there,from Heworth,and I was getting anxious on the busy roads.Anyway,it works at the moment as I can get driven up there and will continue to do so for as long as is needed.I am settled and comfortable going to Perfect Smile Clinic,and always get a pleasant welcome from receptionists and dental staff and get good advice on dental health.

I told receptionist I was in agony with toothache on 27th November, I was told earliest I could be treated was 8th December 12 days later, he put on my appointment emergency. I don't think that is right having to wait all that time with toothache.

This dentist surgery keeps changing your dentist quite often and they cancelled my appointment 2 days before due and it was set three months ago. Not a service I expected at all! However dentists do always great job.

The staff at the surgery are fantastic, always so helpful & friendly on reception. My 8 year old son had a root canal & the surgeon was amazing with him. Answered all his questions & managed to hide the needles from him. She really put us both at ease and made what I thought was going to be awful a good experience for both of us. I can highly recommend this practice :)

Have been here a couple of times in the last year and am very happy with the service. As a particularly nervous patient who would rather live in agony than see a dentist (very bad experience elsewhere some years ago!) I have been very pleased with how professional and reassuring they have been, in particular, Dr Chaggar and his assistants who have been fantastic. Staff are all friendly, helpful and covid safe. If you're apprehensive, as I was, I'd urge you to visit here. Have had work done on my teeth now which a year ago I wouldn't have entertained for a second!

I have been to Perfect Smile for years, and I cannot fault them - they have always been so helpful and professional. I have recently had an Invisalign treatment here with Dr Chagger, and from beginning to end he was amazing. He listened to all the insecurities I had about my teeth, and has spent so much time working with me to get them perfect, and now I'm genuinely in love with them haha. COVID put a halt to my treatment for a few months, but I was always kept in touch with - once actually carrying out my ClinCheck through a Zoom call so that my treatment wasn't further delayed which I really appreciated. Then as soon as they were able to, I had a phone call from Carmel to get me booked back in (which i would like to add, Carmel is the loveliest woman ever - shes so kind and empathetic, helping to squeeze me in for appointments whenever Dr Chagger had a free minute, and even booking me into the Leeds branch when I was desperate to be seen). Dr Chagger went above and beyond to help me, often staying late for my appointments to make sure my progress was on track, and I honestly couldn't fault him or his work. I felt valued and taken care of the entire time, always took the time to ask about my day which always made me feel relaxed (I'm always anxious to visit the dentist haha). He gave me brilliant professional advice on my best course of treatment, and now I have a perfect smile that I genuinely couldn't be happier with!

After visiting an emergency dentist elsewhere in York who told me they couldn't help me as my issue would take 50 minutes I thankfully visited perfect smile the following day and was relieved of the pain I was in and booked in for a tooth extraction which was today. That extraction and 2 fillings took 16 minutes in total and was relevantly pain free for someone who's always had a fear of dentists. I was also offered earlier appointments by text in the last couple of weeks but was unable to take them. A very positive experience today and I'd definatly recommend perfect smile to anyone

For over 20-years I refused to go to the dentist because I did not enjoy the experience I would rather suffer with the toothache that I would have at the time. I took the plunge to go to perfect smile because I was insured by friends that I didn't have to worry about anything I'm so glad I did I have had many procedures done they have all been fantastic in my time there I have seen two dentists both of them made me feel at ease the work they do is exceptional from the front door to the back door the whole staffing are marvellous I would really recommend and anyone to go to them I know nobody knows me but I know me and believe me for me to actually want to go to a dentist is a big thing they have made that possible

I didn't like dentists but I also didn't like my smile and had not smiled properly for 52 years. I wasn't keen on wearing braces or similar, which might have taken years, I spoke to Sanjay about my options. Sanjay was great, talked through my options and explained how each process worked. We decided my best option and quickest result would be from Composite Bonding. Sanjay did an amazing job, all in one visit, myself, family and friends couldn't believe it. My front teeth now look perfect and for the first time in 52 years I can now smile without feeling uncomfortable. Only reason I give 4 star is because atm with the pandemic I understand the new rules in place at the practice but having to stand outside in the rain whilst waiting to be called in is a bit annoying and yes I was there at the time stated for my appointment and was kept waiting about 10/15 mins longer outside, I understand that this happens of course but maybe some form of shelter? For at least 2 peeps to be able to stand in at a sociable distance, apart from that great set up inside and Ash great as always
