Absolutely fantastic dentists. The staff are all so lovely and friendly. Charlotte is so lovely with myself and my two very small children. She takes the time to talk to you and is so gentle and always puts you at ease when needing treatment. I have been going to this practise for over 30 years and I would not go anywhere else.

From the minute I set foot into the practice I felt comfortable. From meeting the receptionist and the my dentist Lucy and her assistant I was so relieved I had decided to go private again and very happy with my treatment. It's the first time I haven't worried about going for treatment at a dental practice. Absolutely wonderful!

I can’t praise Wigginton Dental Practice enough - everyone is wonderfully friendly, reassuring as well as experts. Prior to joining WDP I used to dislike visits to the dentist but now have no reservations whatsoever. Katie (hygienist) is quite literally the most gentle at her skill and having had a fairly brutal experience in the past she has totally changed my opinion on hygienists! Charlotte (dentist) is amazing, thankfully I haven’t needed much work done in years, but she did the most perfect crown for me and matched it exactly to my tooth colour. Nobody would ever know it was a crown! She was also exceptionally kind towards me when I suffered a bereavement last year - above and beyond care (when I needed it most) that I will never forget.

Where do I start really.. I hadn’t seen a dentist in years as I had been far to scared but the pain had got to bad to cope with found Wigginton dental online and WOW so glad I did from the very first phone conversation the staff were calming,helpful,and put me so at ease .Lucy is my dentist and she is AMAZING from start to finish of my treatment she has talked me through everything we worked together what would be best and by listening to her expertise I now have a lovely beautiful set of teeth I can’t thank the whole team enough they are all wonderful in my opinion truly 100 percent if not more if possible I believe I found the best dentist for me thank you all at Wigginton dentist I have my smile back x

Our dentist and hygienist were helpful and careful, they gave us good advice and all the staff are very nice people. We were almost charged twice and had to show proof of our fist payment to avoid being charged again, but that's my only criticism.

This is definitely the best dental practice in York. Everyone is very professional, helpful & friendly, nothing is too much bother. Katie is a fantastic hygienist with years of experience always friendly. My partner had her teeth cleaned today manually, Katie did an amazing job very gentle no pain. Both Katie & the lovely dentist Charlotte explain in detail how to clean and look after your teeth to achieve the best results, they put you at ease as soon as you walk through the door. We both recommend this practice 100%.

I’ve recently moved to Wigginton Dental Practice from another local dentist and I cannot believe the difference between the two! The receptionist is lovely friendly and helpful and the dentist was super nice, explained in detail what she was doing which was really reassuring. The adjustments made for covid made me feel really secure and safe. To top all of this the quote given for my broken tooth fixing from my previous dentist was over £400 - I’ve been quoted £155 today so it is like night and day. The practice was recommended to me by numerous people and they were not wrong, simply amazing

Absolutely brilliant. My old dentist of 35+ years has now retired and his practice has closed down. As an out-patient I rang up Wigginton Dental Practice this morning to see about emergency treatment and an appointment was arranged for 1435pm. By 1500 hours Jon had thoroughly examined me, advised on the problem (nothing serious - phew!), taken xrays and sent me on my way a with a big smile on my face. Jane on Reception was really nice and signed me up as a patient with the practice with a plan in place for future appointments so no need for me to worry on that score. All in all a very comfortable experience with a good, old, no nonsense Yorkshire approach to my visit. Cheers Keith

I am so impressed by the professionalism shown by all staff at Wiggington - everyone - receptionist, dentist, dental nurses and hygienist - is wonderful. I was terrified to make my first visit to a dentist in 31 years but I have to say that Jane the receptionist, Dr John and nurse Sarah made my experience more bearable than I could possibly have hoped. I was dealt with respectfully, kindly and gently, and I was calm throughout as a result. With COVID-19 been the height of everyone's worries at the moment. The Wigginton Dental Practice has all of your concerns covered. Health form and COVID-19 related questions all done online the day before. Upon arrival, you are instructed to stay in your car and call so that you can be directed to which door you should use (1-3). Hand sanitiser stations outside at 3 points of entry, temperature checked, all staff in PPE - masks, aprons, gloves, visors. Cleaning of teeth was a little weird, as no air or water can be used for hygienic reasons, but thorough safe check up all round. They gave me a pot of polish so that I could polish my teeth myself when at home. Excellent service as always!
