I had to go for a filling today and I get quite nervous about dental procedures, but Timesh and the dental nurse (sorry I don’t know your name) were great. I was put at ease and the injections to numb the area were not as painful as expected. They were both great and I now won’t be as nervous next time. Been attending this dental practice for a few years now and very happy with the service. Regardless of who I'm seeing the staff always seem very happy in their work and diligent. Yordan is always very friendly and thorough. I had an appointment with Prabh and Lauren last visit. Dr Vasireddy was on holiday whilst I needed an urgent appointment. I rang the reception at 8.30 and got an appointment for 12.10 the same day- the reception making sure I was ok to see another dentist instead as they were aware I was a nervous patient. I saw Tim who like everyone at this practice was fantastic at providing well explained, caring approach and gave the best care. Thank you!

The team are so friendly and professional- receptionists, nurses and dentists alike. Appointments are arranged in advance and they contact you if you need to make a routine appointment. I usually see Mahesh as the dentist, he explains everything he is doing really clearly. Jodie and the other nurses are really reassuring too. Can't recommend enough!

I have recently become a patient after moving up to York. I have found York Dental Practice to be an excellent choice. The ambience is good, with friendly and efficient staff, there is a good car park and prices are reasonable. But most of all I was impressed by the care and time deployed by the dentist, along with the nurse, to put me at ease and to explain the treatment plan as well as discussing the alternatives. I felt that I was in good hands.

I joined York Dental Practice approximately 9 months ago through recommendation from friends who are patients at the practice. From the first visit I was made to feel welcome and at ease . My treatments have been undertaken by Dr Mahesh Vasireddy and from the initial treatment plan to my ongoing treatment, I know that I am in good hands. Mahesh has been brilliant, his calm reassuring manner and his ability to explain everything he is going to undertake gives confidence that the outcome of his treatment will be the best it can be. Thanks also to the Dental Nurses who work alongside Mahesh, they also show how dedicated they are to their profession and to the patient, and to the Reception Staff who are always willing to help in anyway they can. I am so pleased that I joined York Dental Practice, thanks to you all from a very happy and satisfied patient.

This week I had my second appointment at York Dental Practice with Saritha Vasireddy and Rachel Whiteley. This time round I began my treatment which I was very nervous about due to past bad experiences at other practices and struggling with anxiety. From when I arrived at the practice to leaving after the first part of my treatment, I felt comfortable and made to feel at ease throughout. During my appointment Saritha and Rachel were amazing! They constantly made sure I was ok and if I had any concerns or needed a break to just say. I never thought I would say this but I don't feel nervous for my next appointment at the dental practice and look forward to seeing the staff there again. I highly recommend Saritha and Rachel as I feel they are there to help you as an individual and not just as another patient. They take your own thoughts and opinions in to consideration which is nice so it feels like you have control in your own dental care. Brilliant practice with fab staff!

One of my wisdom teeth had split right down the middle. I'm not usually very good with going to the dentists as it terrifies me. Eleftheria was incredibly reassuring when I had to have the tooth extracted. The whole experience was completely painless. I got my first ever root canal done from Dr Mahesh and have been very happy with the treatment. The practice and Dr Mahesh took great care. I was expecting certain level of discomfort following the procedure, but once the anesthetics had worn off I was fine - as if nothing had happened to the tooth. Thank you so much.

I initially came in as a patient through the nhs for emergency treatment, after some complications, upset and frustrations, Mahesh went above and beyond to help me become pain free. I'm a nervous patient and he made me feel at ease and thoroughly explained the process so I understood my treatment. I also loved to hear him explaining the process of my root canal to the student dental nurse whilst she was learning. The reception staff were also brilliant and really friendly. During Covid Lockdown the systems and procedures in place to ensure folks stay safe, was excellent. from arriving to leaving you are in safe hands. Thanks especially Eleftheria Tranoulidou ... she is the nicest dentist Ive ever had ! I was a little apprehensive as I needed a root canal, on a tooth that has not taken anesthetic in the past despite my protests,. So this time I braced myself... Eleftheria took on my concerns, and took great care to make sure this time was different. To say a root canal was a pleasure may sound weird but in this case it almost was. The time taken, extra care, and professional treatment I received was brilliant. I never got the name of her nurse, but they are a dream team and thank you so much to both of you and the rest of the team at York Dental for a fantastic job.

Was seen on time and met by dental nurse who was lovely and happy. Elle the dentist I saw was also lovely and their attitudes put me at ease. I Was able to explain what I wanted and concerns. She frequently asked me if I was ok. I was extremely happy with my treatment and elle made sure I was definitely happy and I didn’t leave until I was. May need to keep and eye and make sure I don’t need to make another appointment in time but as it stands, very happy with my dentist appointment.

I have seen Dr Mahesh twice now as part of a dental plan. All the way through he has been very clear on the treatment, the need, the pros and cons. My root canal was conducted professionally and including afterwards almost painlessly. I also like that there seems to be the least amoung of anasthetic he can get treatment done with so I don't have numbness everywhere or for hours after. He has also in a non critical way explained how to improve my oral hygiene and protect my teeth more. Highly recommended

This is a 5 star dentist, from my first phone call to having treatment I cannot fault the place, having been in agony with a rotten back molar and not registered with a dentist I was in quite a state, thankfully the guys at York Dental Practice took me on, the tooth was a fairly complicated removal and needed an oral surgeon to remove it, all I can say is the gentleman that extracted it was an absolute magician, it was absolutely pain free, all the staff, the girls on reception and the nurses are fab, the building is super clean and modern, in short you need to go to this dentist, I cannot recommend them highly enough, a massive thank you York Dental Practice, I will be with you for life, no question, SUPERB SERVICE.

I am so incredibly happy. I'd been told by a different dentist that it was impossible to remove the remains of my wisdom tooth without surgery at the hospital (for which there was several months wait). But this surgery saw me on an urgent appointment due to the pain I've been suffering, and managed to extract the tooth. The relief is incredible. Everyone was so kind, so supportive, and I'm beyond relieved to have the tooth out. Thank you so much.

Everyone was very kind and considerate. On arrival I was taken into the dentist surgery and the dentist explained the difficulty of the extraction. ( He had first xrayed the teeth to see what was happening). He explained clearly that because the tooth had hardly any top he might have some trouble removing the roots. The top did break off as expected but the dentist persevered and managed to remove the roots with great difficulty. All in all he was very professional and did his job well, his assistant also worked alongside him well.

Anyone that knows me will know how much the fear of the dentist impacted on my life, due to past experiences with other dentists and bad childhood memories. I even struggled to pick up the phone to make appointments and would have to rely on my wife or mother to make the appointments for me. (I’m 45 🤦‍♂️) I had even contemplated hypnosis. A vacancy became available at the practice but I had to sign up there and then. (This was the kick up the bum I needed.) From my very first arrival the reception staff have been so understanding. On my first assessment the dentist was great with me. I have had a chip from my front tooth for 20+ years and always dreamt of having it fixed, however other dentists said “it couldn’t be done”. I was contacted a few days later and was informed that Mahesh would like to see me as he had reviewed my file. My heart sank thinking I had just found a great dentist but now I had to see another. I made the appointment with Mahesh who was so understanding and he explained that he’d like to use my case as a trial for a new procedure. 3 visits later, mouldings, photographs and hours totalled in the chair, I now have the smile I had dreamt of. I really can’t thank Mahesh and all the staff enough. Thank you Mark

I have recently had a crown made and fixed for one of my front teeth since the old tooth was broken totally. Dr Vasireddy has done a beautiful job on it and the crown merges into the rest of my teeth perfectly. None of my families and friends can tell which one is the crown. The crown fits so natural and functions well. Thank you very much!

Great customer service. From initial contact over the phone with the reception desk, my queries and subsequent appointment was handled efficiently. Dr Mahesh Vassireddy was professional, communicated clearly and made the whole process as easy as possible.
