The best surgery I have come across. They’re always able to give me an appointment in such a reasonable time frame these days. They are so friendly and welcoming and they listen to you. I feel bad for some of the negative reviews as I would hate to see hard working staff be put down by these.

Brilliant surgery. Can always get an appointment within a week unlike most surgery's. Friendly and very helpful admin staff, nurses and doctors. Have always found that all the staff go above and beyond to help with issues.
Personally when I had an issue, the team helped get me an appointment at the hospital ON THE DAY so my issues was dealt with quickly.

I have been at this surgery for a few years now and it is hands down the best GP surgery I have been to, the reception staff are always polite, friendly, warm and well mannered - which I have never experienced in a GP surgery before and it makes all the difference. Personally I can highly recommend Dr Donaldson who is attentive, experienced and an excellent GP, if it was not for her cautiousness and openness to have me checked out, with minimal but persistent symptoms, I would now be in late stage Ovarian Cancer. I am thankful to the surgery, their support has been excellent and nothing was ever too much trouble.

Myself and my family always receive excellent care from Oliver Street Surgery.

A really excellent surgery. Friendly and approachable. There are now three Nurse Practitioners who are easier to get an appointment with for minor ailments than the doctors. They can also issue prescriptions. I recently presented with a sore foot. Nurse practitioner suspected a vascular problem and arranged for me to go to Bedford A&E immediately. Seen by vascular team who discovered three blocked blood vessels in my leg. Angioplasty successfully done and onset gangrene prevented thus saving foot. A brilliant diagnosis from the Practice Nurse!

Lovely admin team who are kind and quick to answer questions and direct me to people who will help. Nurses are lovely and the Doctors are fab and hard working. I can't fault this surgery!

Never reviewed a G.P surgery before and to be frank never thought I would but now doctors are being subjected to the same inspection regimes that blight our schools its probably a good a time as any to start. First contact is by telephone and the reception staff are always polite and friendly. They are also the first people you meet face to face and again they are always a delight. As for the Doctors I have been seen by Dr Haque , Dr Donaldson and Dr Lockley and all are empathic and professional. Student G.Ps are sent to Oliver St to get some real world experience and personally I cannot think of a better place for them to learn the real world skills they cannot get in the classroom. Parking can be problematic but that's down to lazy people like me who live in walking distance but still drive. I moved to Ampthill about ten years ago and previous to that have been looked after by five practices in three towns none of which would have had a review remotely as glowing as this.
