This is the best GP practice I have ever been registered with. The receptionists are friendly and helpful and the phone is always answered promptly. I had my first face-to-face appointment today and I was seen exactly on time (which has never happened at any of my previous practices)! The nurse I saw, named Sarah, was extremely kind, reassuring and informative. She made me feel very comfortable during what I anticipated to be a very uncomfortable appointment and no point did I feel rushed. If you are looking to join a practice in the area, I would definitely recommend this one!

Though I have been with this practice many years, in the last few weeks I have had occasion to contact them rather frequently - yet, astonishingly, despite the current enormous pressure on medical services, I have not once experienced any serious difficulty getting through on the phone, the receptionists, without exception, have been extremely kind and helpful and I have actually managed to see a doctor! When I tell my friends who attend diffferent surgeries they are quite astonished as their own experiences and that of the general public I gather range from poor to simply terrible. Lovely experience. Took my daughter in who was adamant she did not want to go, the nurse was just amazing. Made her feel So comfortable and not like a doctors appointment at all, she was giggling and chatting away within minutes of being there. My daughter wanted to go back in the afternoon to see her again.

Pleasant staff with ample.parking. An unusual route through a middle class area, though. 7.5 ton lorries may struggle to deliver here.

I don't understand the negative reviews on here. I've just had a perfect experience at Harrold Medical Practice. I registered as a new patient on Monday in the middle of a pandemic (registration was online, very easy to do and quick response to confirm). I had cause to contact the surgery today (Wednesday) and the receptionist who took my call listened to my symptoms and dealt with me very efficiently and politely. The lady set up a call with the doctor. I had a call with the doctor within two hours, again she listened to my symptoms and concerns and prescribed an alterative to some medication I already had that was not having any effect and explained in good detail what she was prescribing and why. Compared to the practice I was last registered at where it was impossible to even get through on the phone to get a call back or appointment - this is a great service. A massive improvement on my last GP.
