I attended a preoperative assessment for a hernia repair in April 2022 at Shrewsbury Hospital where was advised that I was bradycardic. My GP referred me to the Shrewsbury and Telford NHS trust for an unguent cardiology assessment but I was advised that the assessment would not take place before August 2022. My body was telling me that it was more urgent than that and it was affecting my everyday life. My son persuaded me to make a private appointment to see Dr Hamaad to sort it out and we attended his clinic on 26 April 2022 where a number of diagnostic tests were carried out on the spot which was followed up a few days later with a ambulatory 72 hour ECG. Dr Hamaad prepared a comprehensive report for me recommending a pacemaker implant and very quickly arranged appointments for covid screening and pacemaker installation on 14 and 17 May 2022 at his NHS practice in Walsall with which I was very pleased. This dis a lot to allay my fears. Unfortunately my condition deteriorated and I was admitted into the Princess Royal Hospital Telford as an emergency and a successful pacemaker procedure was carried out there on 12 May 2022. I must take this opportunity compliment Dr Hamaad and his staff for the efficiency of service, the speed at which reports were provided and arrangements for procedures scheduled after my visit to his clinic. I would also like to thank Dr Hamaad for his helpful contact with the NHS surgeon in The Princess Royal hospital which was instrumental in my receiving the pacemaker so quickly. I now fee very well and would have no hesitation in using Dr Hamaad's services again in the future should the need arise. Regards Greg Tanner

I visited Dr Hamaad for a stress ECG for my Motor Racing Medical. Dr Hamaad first of all fitted me in at short notice on a Sunday. He was very easy to communicate with via phone and email. I was looking for a Cardiologist to carry out a few tests required for a new job I am starting and I came across Dr Hamaad. After my initial enquiry he was quick to respond and speedily fitted me in to one of his clinics. The hospital was easy to find and Dr Hamaad and his team were so friendly and lovely to meet. Everything was carried out very professionally and I was seen virtually as soon as I arrived. I'd even ran late in traffic and they made sure I was still seen. I'm pleased my results were all normal and I received some results on the day and the final 24hr ECG report only a few days later. It is a wonderfully refreshing experience to deal with Dr Hamaad. He is very professional and efficient in his approach, he has a direct and hands-on style, and he treats you as an adult – which has not always been my experience of doctor/patient relationships. He is easy to get hold of (again not my typical experience of doctors) and moves fast. I arranged an appointment with Dr Hamaad to carry out a CAA cardiology report including an echocardiogram and ECG stress test as he is familiar with the required CAA reporting standards. Dr Hamaad's communication both prior and after the consultation was excellent, the reports were provided promptly. I saw Dr Ali Hamaad last week to avoid a long wait to see an NHS Consultant, I had seen my GP the week before and had an abnormal ECG, this was in the week before my 60th birthday and it really put a dampener on the celebrations. I saw Dr Hamaad who put both me and my husband at ease straight away, he was very professional but at the same time friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Hamaad is an exception individual, professional, and Cardiologist! In an effort to avoid waiting 6 weeks before receiving appointment dates of tests I needed, he agreed to take me on as a private patient and gave me an appointment within 48 hours of contacting him. His secretary, as well as Dr. Hamaad himself, contact me via phone and email prior to the appointment to gather additional details from me, explain the process, provide me directions, and made themselves available to me had I any inquiries for them. His entire staff was very helpful in explaining each step of the tests to me and to involve me in conversations. Additionally, Dr. Hamaad was very accommodating and did not rush me during the testing or the consultation, and allowed me to understand everything we discussed and ask any questions I had. Due to the fact that Dr. Hamaad's clinic was a train ride away from me, he took it upon himself to drive to my location and pick up some materials he needed, which not only shows his commitment to reviewing all pertinent information, but also his personal touch regarding people's day to day lives. Even after all the tests were completed and analyzed, he made time on an evening to Skype with me an go over all the results with me, step by step, never making it seemed rushed. Dr. Hamaad has definitely established for himself a very cohesive team between his staff, the hospital, and himself, which makes having visited him a stress- and hassle-free experience. Dr. Hamaad is extremely knowledgeable about all facets of Cardiology and has the ability to make complex terminology easy to understand. It is not often that you find professionals who are as passionate and as qualified as Dr. Hamaad! I highly recommend anyone who needs or wants to consult a Cardiologist to seek our Dr. Ali Hamaad if one wants to work with a professional and an expert in the field, who also understands and is able to deal with people's hesitations or anxiety. After attending A&E with chest pains I was concerned about my health and my insurance cover as I was due to go on holiday to the USA the following week. I contacted Dr. Hamaad and he was able to carry out an ECG, Exercise ECG (stress test) and an Echocardiogram at very short notice. These all came back clear and, with Dr. Hamaad's reassurance, allowed me to continue with my holiday. Dr. Hamaad also provided the necessary supporting documentation for my insurance company so that I could get the insurance cover. He kindly did this on the same day as he performed the tests even though it was over the weekend. I can highly recommend Dr. Hamaad. Dr Hamaad called me back himself personally and instantly made me feel as if my grandad would be in good hands with him.
