I visited the practice for a Visa Medical and I found the staff very quick and professional to respond to my query and inform me of available appointments, procedure and costs. I was able to book in, within days of my initial enquiry and found the overall experience excellent. The building is lovely and clean, with clear signage throughout. The administration team were very efficient, considerate and supportive in helping me complete paperwork (I showed up having not stuck photos down and filled out certain parts of the form). The appointment was very calm and relaxed, with the general practitioner taking the time to listen to me and respond, whilst explaining what was happening, why and how long the process could take. The GP was also able to draw on prior knowledge of the visa medical process to put me at ease with my questions. Follow up conversations were also excellent and communication with the practice was quick and responsive. I did not at any point, feel like I was sitting around waiting. I would highly recommend the practice.

I continue to use Edgbaston Private Medical Practice. From my previous review where i had a one off appointment, i have now moved to a full time membership, using Dr Bahia as needed. Its a decision i wish i had made sooner. The benefits are clear; short wait times for appointments, seeing the same GP who knows your history, and finally seeing someone who is extremely knowledgeable, caring and is not rushing to the next patient. All my dealing with the practice staff such as chasing results have also been fantastic.

Davina is a sweetheart, she did my day 2 and day 8 tests and I was do happy I got her as her technique was amazing and I didn't feel any unpleasantness. Thanks to her I like this practice now. Test results came back promptly too, usually within 24 hours.

Express PCR review: I used this clinic on 15th July for an express travel PCR. They promised results before 6pm the same day, and delivered. I found the whole process very efficient. I think what I valued most is that I was able to talk to them about queries easily. I tried calling a number of PCR test providers before making a choice, and Edgbaston was the only one I got through to a human operator. When they sent me my results, there was actually a minor error in the ID number, but I let them know and they corrected everything within 20 minutes. At 195 pounds, you can definitely find cheaper options, but I was happy to get peace of mind. They also have a cheaper non-express option, but I didn't take that so can't review. Spain has recently relaxed PCR requirements from 48 hours to 72 hours before arrival, so you should be fine with the 120 pound option.

Had Covid tests for a holiday reservation. The doctor was very helpful and made my family and I feel very comfortable. However due to the tight deadline for receiving the results, I found the reception staff unhelpful and obnoxious. I was constantly "fobbed" off with different times when the results would be available, eventually I had to drive back to the clinic to chase up the test results as I was leaving within a few hours for my holiday. The cost of the tests is expensive, therefore I expected a better service than I received. The clinic is let down by the staff.

They were also very helpful to me when I rang up to get information. A very personal service and it´s so great to able to speak to people instead of phone services and machines. I can’t praise enough Dr.Bahia and his team (including the receptionist). I needed an urgent appointment and tests and all was sorted remarkably prompt. The receptionist went the extra-mile, asked Dr. Bahia all the details that I needed and answered to all my questions over the phone and e-mail straight away. Due to high levels of stress I was very anxious and emotional during the consultation.The professionalism, kindness, empathy, moral support and re-assurance together with the medical advice were simply outstanding. I was recommend by my friend to use Edgbaston Private Medical Practice for my Covid-19 PCR test. I booked online and was able to be seen on the day I needed the test. Found the clinic easily and plenty of free parking was available. The clinic staff were very friendly and professional, there was strict adherence to social distancing and cleanliness, which put me at ease. I received my result promptly by email as promised within 36 hours. I would recommended this clinic to anyone requiring a Covid-19 PCR swab test for travel. Thank you so much for the good service.

I recently attended this practice for a work medical test. Dr.Bahia is friendly, well trained and will give you full attention while you there. The test price was inline with the market rates. Not giving 5 stars because of interactions from receptionist Jas. When a customer is paying £400+ for a test, then you expect the results fast and right at the first time. But this did not happen here. My results were delayed and receptionist did not handle the situation correctly. This is a private medical practise, please put your customers first !

Ive seen Dr Bahia for 4 years now and I have consistently received exceptional care from him. He is exactly how a GP should be. He takes his time to listen to all your concerns, never feels rushed and as patient its great to know that you're really being taken care of. He is very thorough in his treatment and explaining everything jargon free. Getting an appointment is so easy, Im always able to get one when it suits me best and theres never a wait. I do have an NHS GP who I could see for free but there is just no comparison to Dr Bahia, he is worth every penny and more of his very reasonable fees.
