L.Dr Simpson has always taken very good care of me, and has a great manner. He now also is my baby sons Dr. I had afew concerns during pregnancy and as a new mother with baby's reflux etc, and he always made contact or saw us very quickly plus followed up. Never had to wait for an urgent appointment. I work in a dentist, and I know how hard it has been during covid for health care, and I think they have done amazing, thank you!
Only marked down a star as getting through via phone can sometimes take a while.

C.Mostly good , had a bad experience the other day with a member of reception staff being very rude over the phone when I rang to enquire about a prescription which I couldn't get back in time to pick up, Eventually the lady said she would forward it to a local chemist but when I got there nothing had been sent leaving me with no medication for a day. Medical staff are very good though.

H.Absolutely brilliant doctors the best surgery I have ever had the doctors are so understanding cause I am disabled in a electronic wheelchair and in so much pain the receptionist are just awesome so nice and kind to me because I ain’t to good at getting out the receptionists always help me and do there best at making sure that I am happy about what I want I just cannot say how happy I am here at this fabulous fantastic awesome 👏 surgery all the Doctors are amazing and brilliant and so understanding from Nicola Hodges 😊
J.Dr Mitchell is THE best doctor on the planet. He looked after me whilst I was going through severe chronic pain and depression. If it wasn't for him, I probably wouldn't be here writing this now. He listens to everything you say, and if needed he carefully explains your diagnosis or treatment in a way that you can understand, and not just in 'doctors language'. As a surgery as a whole, I find the staff polite and friendly in general, and they've also just changed the flooring from carpet to a wooden type finish which makes the whole place look a lot cleaner and welcoming.

I sadly have to agree with the others here and mention that there is one receptionist who could do with a little more training around customer relations. However, when you consider that not all of the clients that turn up there are the sharpest knives in the box it can be simply overlooked with a little practice I say. They are all nice in their own little ways.
This minor bump is hugely out weighed by the fact that beyond reception lies a jugernaught of medical knowledge and practice.
In all honesty I would not be writting this today if it had not been for the swift action and skill of some of the best Doctors in Bournemouth, in particular Dr Tim Mitchell.
I tip my hat to you Beaufort Rd Surgery and all that work there...long live the NHS. ....Grateful..... Graeme.

Z. T.Many years ago dr Mitchell diagnosed my father correctly when others had not, he was absolutely fantastic. However I registered my daughter here and we saw a different doctor. My daughter needs an EpiPen as she had a bad reaction to cashew nuts. However I was refused the epipen and after found out that it was that there were no.epipins to prescribe. I'm furious that may daughter could potentially have a fatal reaction at school and no way for the school to save her life. I've mixed reviews depending on the doctor.
