Had a really enlightening consultation with Dr. Din, and the woman who did my ECG was lovely. Everyone in the clinic was warm, professional, and honestly delightful which put me at ease. Hopefully I’m not back anytime soon, but would feel very safe in their hands. Highly recommended. Thank you Dorset Heart Clinic.

Such a fabulous team, so caring, warm and professional in every interaction, using their specialist training to keep me informed every step of the way. I especially enjoyed having peace and quiet at night so got lots of well needed rest and sleep, essential for healing. As well as the ambulance team, Luke and Ben, ED and emergency Coronary Care staff and the CCU team were exceptional in their care. I have to give special thanks to these people who treated me and supported me so well in my recovery: Dr Levy, Consultant Specislist; Jonathan Hinton, Specislist PCI (Stent) procedure; Suzie and many others in the PCI procedure team supporting them. I was in ward 23 undergoing a preceedure for my heart, the level of care was outstanding, the support, humanity, and care was way above and beyond my expectations, in fact the best I have ever received and I have lived worldwide. A humongous shout out to HOLLY, what a beautiful caring soul, thank goodness for people like her in the community. Thank you to all the staff you are wonderful and Bournemouth hospital is fantastic.

After my initial emergency treatment, I knew my prognosis, and so I dropped into the Dorset Heart Clinic to ask about private treatment. I accepted the fixed price private consultation on the spot. My consultant, a highly experienced surgeon, was kind and unhurried. He put me at my ease and enabled me to make a completely informed decision how to choose my procedure. Although I chose the NHS, my consultant maintained me on his case list throughout my later treatment. His office handled all the correspondence between the Royal Bournemouth Hospital and me. His office's advice to get onto a Christmas cancellation list brought my treatment date forward by four months. My consultant even came in person to greet me on the day itself! Having my own consultant smoothed the way for my successful treatment. I will always recommend their expertise!

I'd like to say a big thank you to Dr Mark Sopher and his team, my experience was 1st class. Dr Sopher is incredibly knowledgeable and a really nice person. I feel very fortunate that I was able to see him and would recommend to anybody. Also I'd like to give a mention to Dr Sopher's secretary Joanna, she was so helpful and even came to meet me in the car park on arrival to show me the way up. Thank you to Tracy, the nurse, who was also lovely and made me feel very relaxed.

Any time you enter a hospital your heart is in your mouth, a fear of the unknown and such were our concerns upon our arrival for the first time. So it was a very pleasant surprise to be impressed not only by the surroundings but the staff and equipment available to us. Over the course of this last year we have found the staff to be patient, courteous and having a sense of humour to jolly us around, a must in my perspective to get the most out of us. These last few months have been a burden to us all but the introduction of the Zoom Exercise Classes have enabled us to keep in touch with the Club and maintain our "fitness" in our own homes with probably more interaction with the member of staff than previously in the gym. Excellent work by superb members of staff both out front and in the back ground. Well done G and T

My husband was seen very quickly and operated on. The Consultant - Dr Peter O'Kane explained everything fully and his secretary was very professional in keeping us updated of arrangements and follow up. All nursing staff on the day were excellent - even ensuring we had a free exit ticket for the car park! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this clinic.

I had a heart ablation in the Bournemouth unit yesterday, a rather unpleasant procedure made bearable by an amazing team of consultants, nurses and support staff. Mr Sopher and his cath lab team looked after me during my operation and were very professional and skilled but also caring and attentive. The staff on the ward from the ancillaries to the nurses and the doctors were all lovely, again very professional and truly caring. I would highly recommend this unit and all it’s staff if you found yourself needing cardiac care.

Excellent all round. Appointment with Dr Girish Babu on the Friday, later than day received a date for the procedure 13 days later from Jo Krata the patient co- ordinator All the staff were friendly, welcoming and professional and the operating theatre looked very well equipped. The procedure went well under a local anaesthetic; I was out the following day feeling fit as a fiddle. Couldn’t fault it.

I had a degree of trepidation beforehand, having read about the procedure for an exploratory Angiogram. However the whole experience was far from unpleasant and Peter O Kane and his colleagues made it so easy and comfortable. My nurse for the day was both fun and attentive in equal measure. First Class.

Excellent, Professional, Caring Service. So different from my experience in a Wiltshire Hospital. From the moment of my first phone call, my case was taken seriously and with an enthusiasm to actually help me and to get to the bottom of my heart issues. I was given a consultation within a few days and further tests within a few weeks on the NHS. I was even copied in on the letter sent to my GP and generally treated like I mattered in this process! So refreshing after 5 very frustrating years elsewhere. I cannot thank the team enough for helping me and in particular Dr Chris Critoph. Recommend unconditionally.

I have nothing but praise with regards to how the team dealt with me. My reasons for attending were investigative with no immediate fear of any cardiac issues but nonetheless, there is always a certain apprehension when you ae venturing into the unknown. Everyone communicated in a very friendly and efficient manner at every stage. Dr Babu has a relaxed, caring and engaging style supplementing his professional capabilities. I felt relaxed at every stage, even when it came to diagnosis. Thankfully, there were no major concerns...a few tweaks I have to make to my lifestyle but then perhaps I expected that! If you are letting inertia rule with regards to your health then I recommend that you do something about it. Us chaps are notorious for not seeking medical health and guidance. Don't dally, just get on with it. You owe it to yourself and your family. It really isn't as scary as you might think and you could be in better hands than at the Dorset Heart Clinic.
