We had a wonderful time in the Coach House, it was perfect for our two families and our 1 year old Granddaughter. The location was fantastic for days out and the Coach house provided for everything we could need including the relaxing hot tub!. We loved the cows coming past the gate every morning to go to the fields. Molly the sheepdog was a welcome visitor too, popping into the garden. Thank you to Liz for looking after our needs and to John for the tour of the Diary which we recommend. We are already thinking of booking again.

This is a perfect location for families of all ages. Our stay at Ivy cottage was idyllic, complimented by the first class Ty Tanglwyst dairy produce. Our grandchildren loved the tractors passing by and the wonderful little play area with the pretty wooden play house and slide .
Liz is the perfect hostess and John is a treasure.
We re already booking our next visit.
Thank you John, Liz, Rhys and Hugh.

Super cute cottage! Awesome little play area for kids. Its close to a couple of small villages and about 6 minutes from porthcawl. The family that runs the cottages are over the top nice and extremely helpful. The milk/butter/cream/eggs that are provided are AMAZING! It's the best milk I've ever tasted!

We were here for summer holidays in july 2021 for 2 weeks. We had the nicest owners Liz and john! The cottages were very well kept and clean and cosy. John answered all our questions about the farm.He let us help on the farm with feeding the Calves and milking the cows with lots of tractor rides and the best of all riding the gater! He gave us free milk which was delicious. We olso watched the dairy processing the milk being bottled and making cream and butter which was really intresting. We watched the cows calving it was really interesting to watch. We were playing with molly all day we had so much fun with her throwing the sticks to her! Hew let us help with his carpentry works building the climbing frame. Juinee was keeping the garden nice all the time making our holiday prettier. The farm staff Matthew, Aron and Chelsea showed us around everything, Thai, Megan, Emily and Joan who let us help in the milking palor, Margrt and Ian who we fed the calves with. We just had so much fun all day long there was something to do! We would love to come again next year shame that it was already booked out.
Many thanks for everything

We stayed here at The Granary cottage, and it was brilliant! Liz was so helpful both before and during our stay, advising us on nearby places to explore that she'd recommend. The cottage itself is very homely and authentic, and the addition of a log burner with a basket full of wood was a very welcome and cosy addition, along with the complimentary farm milk and butter which was waiting in the fridge on arrival. It was a mere 10 minute drive to the beach and other great places to explore. We'd highly recommend for a home away from home experience in South Wales, and thank you so much Liz for being so welcoming and accommodating to our group.

We had the pleasure of staying for the half term holidays - three generations all together in the Coach House and Swallow Cottage. The smaller cottage was perfect for my parents to get away from the rest of us in The Coach House and our bigger cottage had space for all ten of us to eat together inside and out which was brilliant. The cottage was spacious with all rooms en suite, the kitchen well equipped and utility room much appreciated. The garden great for BBQing and for the boys to be able to play safely away from the farm, They also loved the opportunity to tour the farm and see the calf’s and cows being milked (Thank you John!). We explored lots of the local area and I can recommend Ogmore Castle, stepping stones and beach!

Very cosy little farm, i loved staying at the coach house, all of the rooms have plenty of furniture in them. I liked walking down to the milk fridge to get milk, eggs and cream. The prices are really good and the milk is really creamy. There is quite a few nearby attractions, such as Margam park with go ape, wiggleys fun farm for the 2 to 10 year olds in particular, St Fagans museum and coney beach pleasure park. But beware with the pleasure park, for if it starts raining the park almost instantly closes. Overall one of my best holidays that wasn't far from home!!!😍😍

Last night here at Ivy cottage & we couldn't of asked for a more welcoming, accomodating host, Liz couldn't do enough, always available, if not on hand at the farm at the end of her mobile. This is the 3rd time we have stayed & it really is home from home.
Would definitely recommend & will return again.

We stopped in the Coach House in September. The accommodation is comfortable but we would say cramped for 8 which it is advertised as being able to take. The place is tired and could do with a refurbishment. The living room and kitchen we found to be difficult because the kitchen is basically a narrow area with not much working space. We had a broken glass saucepan and bulbs not working. It is on a beautiful working farm and Liz Lougher made us very welcome. John Lougher was a delight and showed us the milking operation. Loads of car parking. Their product is second to none.

Bought fabulous farm fresh butter. The only improvement could be by not wrapping it in plastic; I'd brought my own pots but there was no "naked" butter available.
