I went to see Gemma at the very end of my pregnancy when was looking for ways to help kick off labour without medical induction. Gemma was absolutely lovely and calm and I had a few relaxed sessions where I felt peaceful and listened to. I went into natural labour about 12 hours after my 3rd session. I would really recommend seeing Gemma at any point during pregnancy.

She listened to my symptoms and recommended a way forward. She was understanding about my nerves when being treated, and I felt immediately comfortable in her presence. I’ve been seeing Gemma for years and she’s always been there to help me; chronic pain (endometriosis), helping with ferlitily and pregnancy. Not only is the treatment itself wonderful, she is a kind and caring person who makes you feel at ease and well looked after. Simply speaking to her every week is like therapy! Acupuncture itself is very relaxing. I have found it extremely effective for managing pain, balancing my hormones and dealing with stress. I would (and often do) highly recommend acupuncture to everyone, but particularly acupuncture with Gemma!!!

Wow! I went to Gemma to see if she could help with some sweeling in my knee. It'd been troubling me for about six weeks and was making it difficult for me to walk. I had one treatment and the next day 90% of water had drained away, it was unbelievable! I had a follwo up session and the problem was gone completely. I also felt much calmer and less stressed. In terms of the treatment itself it was actually very relaxing. The room is nice and Gemma is a lovely warm, calm presence and makes you feel instantly at ease. Can't recommend her highly enough.
